This is probably the best chick fil a I've visited. I typically only do drive thru but decided to dine in instead. My husband and I really wanted milkshakes but turns out the machine was out of service. We proceed to order our food, and while waiting at the table we noticed most tables had fresh flowers. I was blown away in the best way possible because, let's keep in mind, we're at a fast food and not a 5 star restaurant. Our cashier then DELIVERS the food to our table, when I was fully expecting us to be called to pick up at counter, and surprises us with 2 complementary cookies as apologies for the inconvenience of the milkshake machine being out of service. I usually love Chick-fil-A for their friendly service, but this Lauderhill location was very disappointing. I placed a mobile order and followed the instructions to go into the second lane. When I got to the front, I informed a young lady that I had a mobile order. She asked if I had told anyone at the drive thru lane, and when I said no, she rolled her eyes and walked away. I politely asked if she was having an okay day, and she responded with an attitude, saying "why?" I told her it seemed like she rolled her eyes at me, and she snapped back that she didn't and would know if she did or didn't, it's 10:30 am by the way There was no courtesy or professionalism--just attitude. It's unfortunate because Chick-fil-A is known for kindness and great service, but this experience did not reflect that at all. The experience I had at this location was so off-putting. The whole building is full of teens playing around in the kitchen. It felt more like a hangout than a job that they were supposed to be professional at. There was too much laughing and messing around to the point where they hadn't even acknowledged me for a long period of time. Usually I don't care about that stuff but they had no urgency at all. What really annoyed me though was the staff attitude. When I asked a simple question about my order, I was responded with the girl rolling her eyes at me like I was someone bothering her instead of a customer. It made me very uncomfortable and kind of embarrassed to be there even though I had done nothing wrong. The food was fine but not enough to make up for how unprofessional everything felt. Chick-fil-A is known for its amazing service and this location is bringing that reputation down. If you're looking for good service don't come here because I won't be back. read more

I love this location! Even more so now that I've ventured inside for the first time in ages this morning. They have fresh flowers at all the tables in the lobby!!! I just love flowers so that was such a mood booster for me! I had no intentions of dining in, but I wanted to sit and eat to enjoy the flowers a while. The service is top of the line as expected. They really do uphold that "Disney" level of excellence here. I've been coming here for years and can count on one hand the amount of times I've ever had something go wrong. And even then they've gone above and beyond to rectify the simplest issues at this location! The food is always the best and as expected for Chic-Fil-A standards. I can't complain a lick and wouldn't dare for this location. I'm so happy I stopped inside to pick up my order today rather than my usual mobile drive thru order otherwise I wouldn't have known of the beautiful flowers. Also, there are QR codes on the tables so you can order from your table as well. So The drive thru can get pretty packed! Especially during lunch times, but I usually place my order in the app to save the workers some time and fuss. And they are pretty efficient so even with a packed line I'd say you're in and out within 3-5mins max. Definitely highly recommend this Chic-Fil-A! A+ across the board. read more

I just came back to this Chick-fil-A after the big remodel and honestly, the difference is crazy. With the new operator and new team, everything about this place feels better. Before, the food wasn't always hitting and the employees weren't as friendly, but now the food is actually scrumptious every time and the service makes it 100 times better. Everyone I've interacted with has such a great attitude. You can tell they care, and I appreciate that because people forget that they're human too. They get held to a really high standard and even with that, they still show up with kindness and patience. If I had to mention one thing, it would be the wait times, but even that has improved so much. Keep up the good work -- this location really stepped it up. read more

We went in here one night during the week for a quick dinner. We ordered ahead of time in their app but when we arrived, we still had to wait over 15 minutes for our food to be ready. Not good. We had the kale salad, chicken nuggets, diet lemonade, and Diet Coke. The salad was small but absolutely delicious. I like the dressing they put on it. The chicken nuggets were a bit too wet and slimy for me. The diet lemonade had a nice tart taste. Last time I waited 45 min for my meal. Ever since they renovated I believe that got new staff and all their operations is at a disarray. This time the the staff that takes the order does not walk to your vehicle to take your order they stand under the extended roof of take your order. Defeats the purpose of having humans there, might as well speak into a speaker. The manager barely speaks English. There are so many ppl working inside and yet you're waiting forever. Pure chaos. That was honestly the worst pick up experience. I will never do that again. I showed up with receipt printed for a small office catering lunch and the only positive was that the order was ready. It was not correct and some people did not get what they ordered which is not good for an ordered ahead catered lunch. In the parking lot which is not really accessible to pick up orders because the drive thru line blocks and you have to maneuver through Sonic next door. Once in the parking lot and in a numbered curbside pickup space, there is no way to contact the store and they are not open for patrons. They don't answer their phone! I got out of the car and walked to the entrance which noone wanted to help but finally I showed my receipt and someone brought out the order to my trunk. Honestly, though I love what the company stands for, I am not a huge fan of their high-sodium menu items. Going back to 2009, when I first started going to Chick-fil-A for a weekly playdate with my then toddler, I noticed that I would get terrible migraines and swell up like a blimp right after eating there. I decided to look at their ingredients for high-sodium content and sure enough, it was to the roof for what the ideal minimum of sodium ought to be for most adults daily: 1500 mg. Well, when their chicken sandwich alone is 1350 mg., you do the math--no bueno. Besides that, there is nothing negative about the chain, but this rating is for my experience at the Tamarac location that doesn't really measure up to the other ones I have been a patron of. I have encountered that the food is not exactly well prepared. I think it's a temperature imbalance. I have experienced it with both hot (the mac 'n cheese) and cold (different salads). Additionally, the customer service is meh, with their associates' demeanors being tired or just not wanting to be out there! You would think that I would stay away altogether, but I don't. My daughter really likes it and I enjoy the "treat" every once in a while. I just compensate with a gallon of water afterwards. read more

So they re-designed something that did not need fixing and made it worse. This chick-fil-a used to have the single car line for the drive through. Which worked great because the employees there were very efficient and got the line moving. Even with the line wrapping around the building, you would not be in line more than 10 minutes at max. Now they pulled the mistake made by other fast food restaurants and implemented the two lane drive through with a merge point after you place your order. It just creates a bottleneck now where most people don't understand the "zipper" merge and are just impatiently trying to jockey ahead. Why chick-fil-a designed the new drive through this way is beyond me. It takes longer, is less efficient and has more potential for crashes. Seems like they're training a whole new crew as well. The service was slower and they almost gave us someone else's order but we will see if that improves after the training is complete because the employees are usually very good there. read more

This clown ahh goofy girl literally walks up to me bringing my mobile order out and starts yelling my name and then puts everything behind the counter on their shelves and walks away. I'm so very disappointed in this location. The past few times I've been were underwhelming but I must say, today was the worst! I turn into the parking lot and instantly get excited because the line wasn't nearly as long as it usually is. I wait for about 10 minutes in the line and pull around near the front door. There's maybe 4 cars in front of me now so I'm almost to the girl that's taking orders. All of a sudden the young lady walks off and into the building. No one comes to relieve her. SHE DOES NOT RETURN FOR 10 MINUTES and as you can imagine, nobody can move because there's no one there to take orders. So we sat. And sat. And sat. She finally comes out with no urgency and resumes orders. Then I pull around to the window and the lady has my food hanging on the outside of the window. Very unsanitary and unprofessional. Honestly had a super long line on a busy weekday night, but it went by so fast. The team is very efficient and takes your order early on to ensure it's ready when you get to the window. They got our order right and were very friendly as well. The sauce is worth it all and I always love the grilled chicken sandwich with waffle fries. This might be hard to believe, but tonight was my first visit to a Chick-fil-A ever. I've known about them for a long, long, time but I prefer beef to chicken, so I've never gone. I do go to KFC occasionally, but that's KFC. Anyway, tonight my friend Jon came over and said he was taking me to Chick-fil-A. Apparently, my not having ever been to one was more than he could take. So he took me. You know it has to be good by the endless line of cars in the drive-thru. Either the food is amazing or we're witnessing a celebrity funeral procession. And no celebrity is going to die in Tamarac, Florida. (Technically, this restaurant is in Lauderhill, but it's the same thing.) The funny thing is, there is almost no one sitting inside, so we parked and went in. The politeness of the staff hits you immediately. They were ready to take our orders (I wasn't ready, but they were), and everything you ask for they reply with, "It's my pleasure." When was the last time you heard that at a fast food restaurant. And when the young man came to deliver our food, that was his pleasure (he told us so). And when he came back with the milkshake, which took a few minutes longer, that was also his pleasure. It was refreshing, even if they don't really mean it. Okay, now for the food. I started with a Dr. Pepper. So far, so good. You can't really screw that up. Then the waffle fries. I'm not a big fry eater, but they were tasty. And then, the sandwich (with pickles). Wow! It was everything I've heard. The meat was juicy and tender, the flavor was amazing and I honestly have to say, I loved it. I know this is a Christian business, and hopefully they've softened their stance of gays (now that we're mainstream). I'd hate to have to come back and change this review. read more
