Ate here many times with my hubby and always get the Reuben with potato salad and a side kosher pickle. This is the first time we did a pick up order for the same sandwich with sides. The potato salad is fresh with a sprinkle of paprika. The grilled sandwich has pieces of corn beef with melted Swiss cheese and sauerkraut. I've been to the other McAlister's Deli on Sunrise Blvd but this will be my first try at this Commercial Blvd location, which has only been open for two years. The manager, Matt, was very friendly and informed us about all the McAlister's locations in Broward County. We ordered our favorite Reuben sandwich with a side of potato salad, which was ready in three minutes. Again, the sandwich was fresh and tasty and enough to split with the wife for $14.00. The inside was very modern with cool wall photo decor and the men's bathroom was clean too. I recommend this location and rate it a solid 4.6 stars. read more

Found Mcalisters on yelp and was attracted because we felt like having a salad for lunch. Not disappointed at all. Both my wife and I had the pecan salad with chicken. To our surprise the salad was very large and tasty. It was so good we came back the next day and ordered the same salad but with different dressings. Staff are friendly and helpful. read more

Even though we were there for a long time, they were so nice to us. They came to our table asking if we needed more iced tea and stuff. The sandwich was fresh and tasty. I always order the Grilled Chicken King Club which comes on wheat bread, bacon, spring mix, tomato, sharp cheddar, Swiss, mayo, and honey mustard. The flavors just bursts in my mouth! This comes with a pickle and a side. They have so many to choose from; my favorites are the broccoli/ cheddar soup or the red beans/rice. They have plenty of seating in there. They're all made with fresh ingredients. They also offer delicious looking desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth. Their unsweet tea is delicious and refills are free. While their food is very good, it is a little pricey for lunch but if you download the app you automatically get a free tea. Also, if you're a T-Mobile app user there is a half off deal on Tuesdays. Food was great. We ordered lunch and were pleasantly surprised with what we received. I ordered a side salad and the grilled chicken club. The salad was large for a side and you have a pick of 8 different dressings. The club was tasty and the sauce made the sand which. My husband ordered the broccoli cheddar soup which he loved. He stated it was "way better than Panera." He also got the McAlester's club sandwich which he liked but claimed the chicken club was better. The delivery was fast and overall service was great. What I really like about them is that they have a choose two option which allows you to pick a half of an entrée and another half of something else like soup or a side. They are known for their ice tea, but we haven't tried that yet. The customer service is always top notch and the restaurant itself is always very clean. What a great addition to the neighborhood! With the numerous fast food lunch joints in the area, I'm always choosing between something greasy or fried that's quick for a grab and go lunch. This was my first visit to McAlister's Deli and I was quite impressed! Lots and lots of choices, (many healthy,) and really, really clean with a friendly staff! I went for lunch on a Friday. I was greeted upon arrival by 2 different employees. I had a while to peruse the menu because the rest of my party wasn't there yet. They had lots of salad and sandwich options that sounded delicious!! All the menu choices were detailed on the huge chalkboard style menus overhead. I decided on the Savannah Chicken Salad which had seasoned grilled chicken, honey-toasted almonds, dried cranberries, lettuce , tomato & Gorgonzola cheese. It was amazing.....a huge portion and I really enjoyed it. My husband had the Southwest Chicken Avocado Salad which he had gotten before, and he loved his as well. It also came with seasoned grilled chicken and had avocado, poblano, toasted corn, and black beans. One of our friends had the "Spud and McAlister's Club" which was supposed to be a small potato & a half a sandwich; but it was actually a full size loaded potato and a super-stuffed club sandwich. She really enjoyed it, but ended up taking half of her meal home because she couldn't finish it. The other friend in our party had a chicken salad sandwich on ciabatta bread and a side of potato salad. She really liked hers too; and she also ended up needing a box to take half of hers home. I was very impressed with the food at McAlister's Deli. They had so many great options, and everybody really enjoyed what they had. The restaurant couldn't be cleaner and the staff couldn't be friendlier. Not only were we greeted several times, but an employee came over to check on us, offer are free fills on our fountain drinks, and bring us the "to go" boxes. We never had to get up out of our seats. 4.5 Stars - This place checked almost every box needed for lunch with a large group of my friends. Clean, large, bright dining area. Varied menu options. Addition of a seafood option (shrimp, tuna fish, etc.) would be ideal. Plenty of free, convenient parking. Appreciated the lone crew person who along with the manager hustled to take all our orders, see that they were prepared accurately and quickly brought to our tables. I ordered a Reuben sandwich again this visit and to my enjoyment, it was much improved--served hot, not lukewarm. The Chicken Strawberry Pecan tossed salad's fresh, crisp artisan greens and large candied pecans were delicious. To be polite, I made an exception to my No Food Sharing policy and split the slice of carrot cake I ordered amongst the group. It was a huge slice, rich and decadent--next time, No Sharing!! All my friends also gave their meals thumbs up. Most selected Choose 2 meals so there were combos of the French Dip, Spicy Turkey and Veggie sandwiches with Veggie Spud, salads, macaroni and cheese and potato chips. The portions are generous. One of my co-workers tried McAlister's and really enjoyed it. She came back to the office with a menu and that's how I ended up there today for lunch. I tried the Choose 2 which included a 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup. The McAlister's Club sandwich was delicious! Smoked Turkey, Black Forest Ham, Bacon, sharp cheddar, spring mix, mayo & their signature McAlister's honey mustard (I requested no tomato or Swiss cheese). They had a few soup options like chicken tortilla & broccoli cheddar so it was hard to choose but I got a cup of the country potato. It was not as thick as I would have liked but plenty of melted cheese and little scallions. The sweet tea was freshly brewed. Service was very friendly.
