Decided to come here for lunch with my mom one day, it's located in a little plaza with free parking. When we walked in it was a little difficult to understand how the place works, they have the menus tucked towards the entrance on the side hanging with no clear sign. I also wasn't sure if the line started at the register or towards the back where the food line starts. I do like that you can see the food to pick and choose what you wanted. I was a bit confused with the menu but then realized you could get a bowl or one of the preselected menu items, wish it was a little clearer on how the place works and how to order. When I came the tables were full and the ones that were not full all had dirty plates on them. The food on the other hand was absolutely amazing, I had the salad and my mom decided to try a little of everything from the hot food. Everything was absolutely delicious, healthy and fresh. I would definitely recommend coming here for the food!

Coming to The Naked Farmer was awesome, at first I was a bit skeptical of these "farm to table" restaurants however this place lives to the hype. With ample parking and seating available both inside and out the vibe was very chill. I will say the seats are bit uncomfortable however, that isn't a deal breaker for me. I ordered a build your own bowl which contained Cesar kale, broccoli, Mac and cheese, and honey BBQ chicken it was perfect every part of the blow played such a great role of taste and texture. I do want it to say the sleeper of everything I ate was the cornbread!! I have not had cornbread like this at all. Soft, moist, with a beautiful crispy top layer. You need to try it I definitely recommend this place.

One of my fave spots for a quick healthy meal especially when I'm on the go. Pierre the manager was incredibly hospitable and welcomed my friends and I for our first visit ensuring this OG location remains the locals pick in the area. Steak and chicken breast mains are 10/10!

Another yummy visit to Naked Farmer. The kale pecan salad is so fresh and flavorful. I love that it's a base option now as I wasn't the biggest fan of the farm mint greens. Excellent service and delicious food I can feel good about eating. Thank you Naked Farmer Sunrise!

This place is a perfect spot for organic food I come here about 2x a week and I'm never disappointed Steak is always cooked perfectly (wish it was a bigger portion it's so yummy For the sides We always get the veggies and a Mac n cheese with a cornbread Drinks they have some cool options Bathrooms always clean Staff can be a hit or miss. The younger kids working can be quiet and unenthusiastic They don't talk about the food like they know what's there... for example the sauces I didn't know you can get them and I just asked this last time I can choose sauces and it was a game changer for flavor Service can be improved but all in all I enjoy it The food is all that matters at the end

After finishing a workout, I was walking through the plaza when I came across a place called Naked Farmer. At first glance, the name made me think it was a farmer's market but to my surprise, it turned out to be a fresh and flavorful dining spot focused on healthy food options. Naked Farmer offers a build your own bowl concept that starts with a base of spinach, mixed greens, or quinoa. From there, you move down the line to choose from a wide variety of sides, thoughtfully laid out in two trays full of wholesome, vibrant ingredients. Finally, you choose your protein, either chicken or salmon, both cooked fresh in-house. To give you a little bit more perspective about what the restaurant is all about, I got this word-for-word from their website: "The Foodture Our locally-sourced menu is grown in direct conversation with family-owned and operated farmers in our region, brought in from the fields, and cooked on site by chefs who know their vegetables. The future of food (AKA the 'foodture') is bright... and delicious." I highly recommend this location. The food is fresh, affordable, and delicious. My total came out to roughly $15 per person for a basic order, which was extremely filling. The environment is relaxed and welcoming, with plenty of parking available right out front. Both the plaza and the restaurant itself are spotless, and the customer service and overall ambiance were exceptional. Check out this really cool spot. I guarantee you, it will not disappoint.

If you're looking for a fresh, healthy experience, this is an absolute option. You can choose a protein over grains or salad, with lots of toppings, or wing it and "build your own" bowl. I got a Seared Salmon Salad, my mom got a heartier bowl with glazed carrots, and my brother got the surf and turf bowl with salmon. There wasn't enough salmon for both of us, so the workers made fresh salmon for us both, which took about 8-10 minutes until all of our bowls were freshly prepared. Food portions were very good. I appreciated the way our salmon was made fresh and that the workers took the time to communicate with us, since we were first-timers. It's a very casual spot with seating, lots of folks coming in and out with takeout orders. It's not your typical sit-down restaurant -- there are no waiters coming around to clean your area -- you have to take your bowl to a dirty-dishes drawer that they collect periodically, so be prepared. I found that a bit weird considering there seemed to be various folks in the back buzzing around. I also liked that the bathroom passed the clean test. I'd definitely try again, for takeout next time.

I have researched healthy food around this area and this restaurant always popped off so I needed to try it. I had honey bbq as the protein, brown rice , Mac and cheese with cucumbers as the base. I asked for mushrooms and I had to pay like $5 for it. I went to this restaurant with my mom and she had the same meal as I did. I also ordered the corn bread as a treat. For the drink I had the Honeycomb Cider and it tasted like an apple sauce. Ariel is the associate that took care of me and she was really nice and attentive. The food was good but my favorite part was the mushrooms and the Mac and cheese. The corn bread was super delicious as well. This restaurant is a healthy and casual place which I liked. I would recommend cushions in the seating. Another recommendation I will give for this restaurant to have the menu displayed with the prices. I don't like guessing how much my food is going to be. The parking is free and nearby the restaurant.

This is a great place to meet up with your friends! The food is nicely displayed, and you get to pick 2 sides and 1 main protein. The price is not cheap but the food is fresh and tastes good. They have several kinds of sauce to go with your dish and the sauce really adds the flavor!

One of the best healthy alternatives providing proteins and carbs as I am a constant rice eater (). Everything was up to par in my bowl, and the service was really good. Naturally a jokingful person so I got one of the employees to be laxed and playful, although they were busy... the lighting and ambiance inside is nice. The seating outside too under the shade scale nice mix of sun and breeze hit = perfect.

Naked Farmer - Fresh, Flavorful, and So Good! I absolutely love Naked Farmer! Everything here tastes super fresh and clean, like real food made with care. You can tell they use quality ingredients the veggies are crisp, the proteins are perfectly cooked, and the flavors are amazing. I built my own bowl, and it was honestly one of the best meals I've had in a while. It's healthy but still really satisfying, and you actually feel good after eating it. The portions are generous, and the staff is always friendly and quick. The whole vibe is bright and welcoming perfect for a quick lunch or an easy dinner spot. If you're into fresh, farm-to-table food that's actually delicious, Naked Farmer is the place to go.

If you're looking for fresh food, friendly service, and seasonal menus, look no further. I've been to Naked Farmer a handful of times and each time it did not disappoint. The person behind the counter is always so nice and helpful, and the bowl I make is always delicious. I usually like to customize my own bowl, adding whichever of their fantastic options I want, but this time I opted to try their steak caesar salad. Now I love a caesar salad and I knew this one wouldn't disappoint. The kale was fresh and the steak was juicy and tender. Once again, a worthwhile visit to Naked Farmer.

I stopped in for lunch today because my coworker had been ranting about how good this place is and I can see why. They are a bowl place kind of like bolay and chipotle but 10x better. Everything taste fresh and is well seasoned. I got their honey bbq chicken with brown rice base along with Mac and cheese and broccoli. The honey bbq was soo good, it was moist and had a lot of flavor. It also had an amazing char to it. It was the perfect amount of sweetness. The Mac and cheese was creamy and and gooey and the broccoli was cooked to perfection, had a little bit of char and great flavor. I normally don't like the char/crispiness on protein or veggies but they really know how to do it right. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some healthy and delicious food. It's a little bit pricier than the other places I mentioned but it's worth it. Service was good and the ambiance was very laid back.

We were in great spirits and the energy was good while the dj was playing good music. We were catching up and vibing. I will start by saying while I loved being with my coworkers I would not return again. The server was new and nice. We all ordered drinks - espresso martinis, fire and ice mojito, aperol spritz, lemonade, cappuccino etc. The espresso martinis were watery coffee drinks missing baileys. The fire and ice mojito was so sweet and had no taste of rum. I asked for a regular mojito instead and still sweet but better. And the lemonade was forgotten until we reminded the server while we already had our food. We all ordered after drinks - salads, shrimp and grits, breakfast plate, and chicken and waffles. My chicken and waffles were okay the syrup came out cold and the butter was an interesting consistency... They messed up the salad orders. The shrimp and grits my friend got tasted like they forgot to put oil until the end. And my one coworker asked for no meat and they brought it out for her on the side. Overall, I was disappointed with the food and drinks. Based on this experience I would not recommend. And to Matchbox, please do better.

Ally's comfort Café has been a staple in Northwest Davie forever. *Now, Ally, moved away a little while ago and new owners took over. They kept the same recipes which made us hopeful that things would pretty much remain the same. But little by little all of the staff that had been there for years started leaving. I think there's only a couple of the longtime staff left. We'll get back to the staff in a moment. My wife and I go to Ally's every Saturday morning. We go there have a great breakfast and then go to the Publix next-door to do our weekly shopping. There's obviously going to be hiccups when new owners take over a restaurant. We totally understand this. But some things are just not improving. They open at 8 AM on Saturdays. But, between 8 and 9 AM there's only one waitress and one bus boy this didn't always used to be the case. They used to have the full staff and someone at the door to take names. He would also help out by getting you drinks or more coffee if you needed it. It worked really well for the small family restaurant. The new owners took over and at some point they decided they only needed limited staff between 8 and 9 AM on Saturdays. And of course, every Saturday my wife and I go in there. It gets packed and the waitress is running around like her head is cut off and the busboy is overwhelmed. This isn't a one time thing it has been constant since they made the staffing change. It's completely unfair to the waitress and busboy and it's also a complete turn off to patrons who have to wait sometimes up to 10 or 15 minutes just for the poor waitress to come and take their order this morning. A couple waited 20 minutes before their order was taken. Also, the owner/manager doesn't get there until almost 9 herself, which means there's no management in the restaurant to help with the register or put out "fires." It. Is. Not. Working. Ally's has been known for their specials for years. They always have amazing special pancakes and special French toast. It's one of the main reasons we still go there. It's our little weekly treat. Lately the specials have been very monotonous. Some sort of jelly put on some French toast or some sort of cream put on a pancake. Not real imaginative for instance, today was banana cream and chocolate pancakes. It was a dollop of banana cream on a chocolate pancake that had little taste. One could've added some fresh bananas, or maybe some whipped cream on top of that. Meanwhile, the special pancakes and special French toast are often made wrong by the staff. This happened this morning. It took them twice to get the pancakes right and three times to get the French toast, right. Again, this is not a one time occur occurrence. We never complain. But we were surprised to still see those items on the bill and not discounted at all, but that's OK. The thing that really drove me to write this review, is that I waited for more than 10 minutes to speak to the owner/manager on our way out. I thought the best way to handle our dissatisfaction would be to speak to her personally. She disappeared into the kitchen, and even after the waitress went to tell her we were waiting to speak with her, she was nowhere to be found. No I understand things come up in the kitchen, but she could've at least came out and said hey I know you're here, I'm dealing with a problem, I'll be right back. But we waited and waited and waited and nothing despite all of the above, that's what irked me the most. I will say this. The food is still very good. And the waitresses and buses are amazing. None of this is their fault. They should all be paid more in dealing with a kitchen that can't get right and an owner that can't seem to figure out good customer service. We will certainly give them another chance, it's part of our routine. But after biting my tongue, I had to let everyone know what was happening at one of our favorite spots in Broward County.

During my recent visit, I had an interaction with a manager named Carisa that was extremely disappointing. As I was about to place my order, she approached my table and threatened to contact corporate to have me permanently banned over a comment I made. That comment stemmed from something I personally witnessed the previous week, where she was speaking harshly and unprofessionally to two young waitresses in front of customers. It was uncomfortable to observe and not reflective of the level of professionalism I expect from management. Her approach toward me was confrontational and inappropriate, especially given that I was simply there as a paying customer. In my experience, leadership should demonstrate professionalism, composure, and respect--both toward staff and guests. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. I've never encountered behavior like this at any Flanigan's location before, which is why this experience stood out. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as it does not reflect well on the brand. She even dare me to call corporate as in she thinks she is above Flanigan's upper management.

This is lengthy, apologies. My experience with Lakeview…read moregoes back 35 yrs, going there with folks and now as an owner myself. It's always been a great value and good food. We as owners "own" it, it's not open to public and of course the prices are reasonable given the give and take of Board...bless their hearts... and residents, and the weird dynamic that it can stay in business while losing money. Yet with Lakeview's value, I don't go there often enough, and most owners don't go at all...some sell their food cards at a loss. Last night I had salmon, she had soul picatta. It was very good! Chicken noodle soup a minor misstep and not the end of the world. Buy top shelf soup from a purveyor and be done with it. Continuing... "Flaming Desert Station" nice but waste of time and manpower, a gimmick that has to go. Include a dessert served from kitchen. Don't charge $2.25 for coffee. The restaurant is not open to public so I'm not giving away anything and the residents of P.I. already know, but, we're only open 2 nights a week and there is no chef! Kudos to Alan for more than holding up his end upstairs and downstairs in Chippers!!! Alan is a valuable asset. The hoity-toity menu has to be phased out, i.e., Baby Lamb Chops etc. The Board might have found some solution of sorts for breaking even by being open only two nights plus Sunday buffet, but seriously, there's no rent or owner needing to make a profit, there's no extravagant Chef salary...it's an imperfect solution. Lakeview should be a crown jewel of P.I., adding value to P.I. The fancy menu made sense back in day. Alan has figured out how to do that menu with no spoilage, only open two days, that's incredible! The food was good last night! Don't take away the Sat night menu from the loyal folks that do go there for fine dining at very reasonable price. I humbly propose this first step in making Lakeview an asset instead of liability. "All You Can Eat Ribs/Shrimp" on a Friday night. Admit Friday is a work in progress and start on high side of price always explaining to resident's that the Friday idea is to fill the place but not have it overrun on day 1 by giving away the meal, and price will be adjusted accordingly. And maybe some sort of "mission statement" posted outside saying that demographics always change and Lakeview is a work in progress, but we all fail if we don't support our own restaurant. Ask for support from residents if we are ok losing a bit of money temporarily, but on high volume, not low volume like we have now. To the Board...and some of us have said as much at meetings...give us comfort food and great value on Tues, Wed (already in place) Thurs and Friday. Frequent reminders that it's our restaurant. Double the price of the food card if these changes work. It could be a virtuous circle. What restaurant wouldn't die to have 3000 units worth of $175 ($350) food cards as guaranteed revenue. Everybody mumbles as much under their breath. Open the ballroom doors even if it's not used. Would give a feeling of spaciousness to go along with fabulous view of lake. p.s. the staff upstairs and downstairs is fabulous. Shout out to our CBS's John Dickerson lookalike. I showed him a pic of the CBS news anchor last night. He, Alan and the rest are really good people. Last question is to me. This is a weird place to post, will anyone ever see? Might be a good thing. This kind of short story critique doesn't usually go over well.
