Okay I rarely rate CFAs 4 stars but this trio deserved a review. First off the HIGHLIGHT of my order, my small fries. I typically get 4 regular sized fries in the carton but whomever the angel was on the fry station truly blessed me. Although speed is not this locations forte, we didn't spend more than 15 minutes on a Saturday evening. Every sauce we asked for was accounted for. Tried the mobile order today. Ordered from car at a stop light. When I arrived I went inside, found a table and scanned the QR code. Google Pay took care of the charge automatically and I waited about 4 minutes for my food to be brought directly to my table. In the order you can add extra ketchup, salt and pepper packets along with whatever additional condiments you'd like. Surprised mayo wasn't an optional sauce for fries. I enjoy the grilled chicken sandwich which comes with lettuce and tomato. You can add pickles and various other options to make it your own. Their waffle fries are the industry leader for tasty. Not too salty so you can adjust to your level. Restaurant is clean. The manager wiped off the table next to me and then asked how things were and even asked if I would like a cup of water (which I had forgotten in my order). What other fast food place is offering this type of special service? She then asked the next table if they wanted refills. As I left the restaurant the same lady wished me a nice day ahead. Makes you smile for things that are so easy but often missed at so many other food establishments. The chicken could have been a bit warmer by the time it got to me. Also miss having a drink dispenser to refill, although they are usually pretty quick to grab your cup when you walk it to the counter. Parking can often be challenging because this is a busy spot. Drive thru has two lanes and the traffic pattern is setup to flow well. This place is right off I-75 at a stop light that allows easy entrance and exit. read more

Every single time, without fail, my mom or I wait minimum 20 minutes in the drive thru line. I know there are bigger fish to fry in the world... but the whole purpose of a drive thru is to grab and get food quickly. There are dozens of other CFA locations within the Tampa area that have lots of customers, however the lines move a hundred times more efficient compared to this location. I normally see workers doing their job and not slacking, so I don't understand why this is always a pressing issue. Probably the horribly designed parking lot/designated drive thru line. The people who designed that are idiots. Hope this gets better eventually cause y'all can't even handle the current demand but these millennials and older gen z's keep popping out babies left and right in this area. Not the Chic-fil-A Standard While waiting for my order to be ready, I witnessed a female employee standing by the counter blow her nose and cough in her hand. She then went to lobby and put hand sanitizer in her hands and immediately went behind the counter and began handling food orders. She NEVER washed her hands. The worst part of this unsanitary practice is there is a hand was station behind the counter which she passed by without even attempting to use to wash her hands. REALLY. I'm very disappointed with the Chic-fil-A Chicken Sandwich Deluxe. The bun was cold, dry, and hard making the bread uneatable. The bread felt like it came from refrigeration. This place is horrendous. First of all I got a chicken sandwich and asked for for no cheese and they put cheese in my chicken sandwich. This is absolutely disappointing. This is quite possibly the worst Chick-fil-a ever. They do not care about mobile orders: super slow, no one ever there to assist you, and they ALWAYS forget something in your order. Do not plan on getting everything you order! Something will be missing! It is so obvious that they do not care about mobile orders because they know that people won't see it till they get home. I'm tired of giving them chance after chance when it's bad service and forgotten items EVERY SINGLE TIME. I sincerely hope they get new management soon or plan to fix how they handle mobile orders. I love CFA but this one was sort of chaos. We all know CFA gets really crowded but this one is on in such a small location that the drive thru entrance is directly in front of the line that wraps around for getting your order at the window. I ordered via the app and chose to walk in rather than drive through given I wanted to ensure I got breakfast. Inside despite me placing the order ahead and despite it not being crowded at all inside, it took me FOREVER to get my food. By the time I was out the door the entire drive through line was gone! They ended up running out of eggs so I had to wait 4 minutes longer also. Overall satisfied with the food as always. read more

Hit the drive-through on the way to work and was greeted by 2 young ladies outside who were extremely pleasant. I don't care what time or which Chick-fil-A you go to you can always expect friendly service, hot food, and perfect order. This is the only place you don't have to check the bag before you drive off. Waited in line ordered my food two breakfast bowls and a chicken biscuit, Kayla asked if I wanted sauce I told her chick fil a. Got to the window she handed us our drinks then parked us. We waited for the food and then someone came out gave us our food and we started to leave. I checked the bag and we didn't get any utensils for the bowls or chick fil a sauce. So I had to wait through the line again and when we finally made it to the window again I told her she forgot our utensils that we needed two forks he handed me one fork and a chick fil a sauce and I told her we had two bowls again we need TWO forks. By then my iced coffee was gone so I asked if I could get another one for having to wait so long and they charged me lol will not be returning to this location. I went to this location and had the worst experience at chick fil a I've ever had. I told the person taking my order that I'd like to split the payments and they let me know that it could be done at the window. When I got to the window I proceeded to let the cashier and manager know that I needed to split the order. The manager then told me that their system isn't capable of splitting orders! I know this is not true because I have done many split orders in the past. The manager made me feel like he just didn't want to help me and then complained that I was holding up the line and refused to split the order. I've never been treated so poorly at a chick fil a. I personally love this CFA! I never have an issue. Is it busy? YES! But what CFA isn't busy! You have to go there knowing it's not going to be "as fast" as maybe McDonald's. But it's worth jt! Don't order to pick up at the drive through on the app because it's pointless. They don't start making your food till you arrive AND speak to someone. Which is stupid because what's the point of putting an order in the app if you still have to wait in a long line of cars. If I could rate this location 0 stars I would. Their customer service is horrible and a lot of the staff are rude. I don't recommend this location to anyone. I tried getting help from management and was quickly turned away. I worked for Chick-fil-A multiple times at different locations and know that this isn't the way that Chick-fil-A operates. They messed up my order THREE times in a row so this last time I was fed up because I had to go buy this person another meal since their entire entree was missing from the bag. When I arrived, the drive-thru line was wrapped around the building (as it usually is), and partially extended out into the street. The line moved at a pretty decent pace, which was delightful, as I was in a bit of a rush. The food was as expected, except for my less than warm fries which were in stark contrast to my piping hot chicken sandwich and nuggets. I have eaten here at New Tampa location on BBDowns with 2 other people 4 times in the past month for lunch. Each time the buns on the chicken sandwiches were stale, so dry that the buns literally fall apart while we were eating the sandwiches. I have been to other chick fil As and not had this problem. This location I have been to many times over the past decade and it's still great because it is so close to the interstate and in a very prime area of Tampa.
