First of all, our server Caden L. was a PHENOMENAL server! Genuinely PHENOMENAL! The food is ALWAYS outstanding! I personally ordered a Wild shroom pizza. Well, they have remodeled Cali here in Tampa Palms. The interior is absolutely gorgeous upscale almost swanky. It's a much more pleasant place to eat than the original echo chamber that they had for an interior. Also, the food is exactly as it was the last time I eat here I wish to say pretty awesome. This time I had a fajita bowl customized for my food allergy and sensitivities with grilled chicken and spaghetti squash and it was absolutely stellar. Service is top-notch and everybody is just happy to be there. For once a place did a remodel and the food Quality didn't suffer. I am so glad to see that! It's been forever since we have been to Ciccio Cali now just Cali. Decided to go bc I heard they had updated their inside decor. It was really nice. Although I didn't get to take a pic. It's very white and beige like a Miami Beach feel. They no longer have the bright green accents. Their outside is as nice and even more spacious since they took the smaller tables away. They also brought in new chairs to match the inside beige water decor and bring it outside. We also love the outside patio lights at night which they have always had. Our server was bubbly and helpful which was very nice and welcoming. We ordered the Mexican and the Hot and Crunchy Bowl with Chicken and Ahi Tuna Respectively. We made some modifications based on our preferences. Our bowls were very tasty. We love that spaghetti squash is a base option here. These bowls do have upcharges with any protein and the spaghetti squash. That does add up and the bowls end up being more than other places. Today was our third visit and it is always great! The menu is unique with fresh ingredients. I had the Lean n Clean bowl with charred chicken over spaghetti squash. It was delicious! I love the revamp they did of inside- It's still the open concept but feels brighter. There is outdoor seating and it allows dog owners to bring their dogs when sitting outside. This was my first time trying their brunch menu and I am a fan! They have many options for everyone. I or the lil hungry with turkey sausage and I was super full. The pancakes and syrup were REALLY good! The syrup had this ginger lil taste to it, so it's not your average syrup. Not pictured were the handful herb fries which were 10/10 and it's worth trying. Such a cute restaurant! My friend and I were not expecting this place to be what it was but we were happy with the experience and would love to come back. Loved the vibe, the decor, and the love music. We both ordered the hot and crunchy with ahi tuna and we loved it. The flavor was great! However the tuna could have been seared a bit less or not placed directly on the warm rice as it turned it brown. The flavor and texture was great though and I loved the spicy mayo sauce in the bowl. I was a bit disappointed with the spicy rio burrito I ordered to go. I asked for no guac since my bf is allergic to it and sadly he couldn't eat it because of it. First time here and I sat by the bar with my friend who has been here a ton of times. We were greeted by Lauren who was the ultimate sweetheart in the entire experience. She gave me a run down of the menu, suggested some items I should try and was super attentive while greeting people coming in, taking care of online pick up orders and phone orders. She was a multitasking queen but at the same time super attentive to us sitting by the bar. The food was delicious ! I had the lil wrap and it hit the spot. The broccoli side was perfectly cooked and charred. The guac was fresh and my friends bowl looked fantastic! As a first timer, I received a sourdough chocolate chip sea salt cookie and I took a little bite and I already know it won't make it to the end of the night. Everyone in this location was super welcoming and friendly. I was able to share my experience with what appeared to be the head chef (an awesome leader with the short haircut). She was engaging with her staff, making sure everyone was set up for success and that the kitchen was flowing. This is definitely going to become one of my go to spots for good healthy eats that won't break the bank! The entire experience from beginning to end was incredible. You gained yourself a new customer for sure and I will be bringing my family and friends with me next time. Ps. Excellent service but I can't stop raving about the food and the flavor. I had the Lean n Clean bowl which had roasted broccoli & cauliflower, citrus vinaigrette, pico de gallo, fresh herbs with the char chicken and the coconut avocado rice. It was our second visit to the Tampa Palms Cali. Once again, the consistency of the quality of food, service an ambiance amazes me (at this Cali's and the one in St. Pete)! I'm working my way through all of the bowls. Had the Thai bowl this time. Incredible! Nice understated peanut sauce. Once again, every piece of steak was done perfectly. Udon noodles were just right. The garlic-lime edamame as an app was a great starter. Although I'm a fairly traditional pizza guy (cheese, margarita, pepperoni) the Bee Sting Pizza was amazing! For me, the hot honey was the kicker (ask for 2X hot honey next time)! And I never would have thought that the sour dough crust on a pizza would be so incredible. The wine is always good. The Imagery Chard went great with the Thai bowl. I have now worked my way through all wines except for the Tribute Cab and I can say that they all have been excellent. read more

Despite being fresh, both dishes lacked the flavor I expected. For drinks, I ordered a red sangria, and my friend ordered a max-mosa, which came with an Instagram-worthy mini-bottle of champagne. The overall vibe of the restaurant was laid-back, influenced by the California vibe. We enjoyed sitting on the outside patio which was perfect for those who wanted to bring their dogs. Our waitress Lexi was very attentive and provided me with a complimentary cookie as it was my first time visiting the restaurant. This was such a sweet gesture...literally. My lunch, the first meal of the day since landing in Tampa was amazing. The tuna tacos were so incredibly flavorful. So much better than they needed to be! Bumping my four stars to five. This place continues to be one of my favorites in the Tampa Palms area. They should be recognized for consistently good service, friendly and great food preparation. Healthy too! Not as crowded as they used to be. Lunch on a Friday was not super crowded. Orders were taken at our table. Beverages were consistently topped off by several on staff. Great place to dine and not loud so you can easily catch up with your friends. On a 90 degree day a bunch of people were outside on their shaded patio. This place really is an icon in our neighborhood, consistently rating as one of the top restaurants in the area in the Neighborhood News publication. Entrees are about $16-$17 when you include your protein, usually chicken recommended on most of their bowls and pizzas. I had the burrito today with a side of rice and beans. Five stars all the way! I was skeptical when I looked this place up. Thought it looked too healthy. Got there and saw the layout of the restaurant and the vibes are just immaculate. Immediately, my hopes went up. As we were being seated, I saw a girl drinking this pink drink and i just HAD to have it. As I read the menu, my eyes widened. The more I read, the better the options got. I got my drink and it was just delightful. I got the Spicy Rio burrito with chickpeas and a side of tater tots.. it wasn't too spicy in my opinion.. but it was super tasty.
