For the third time, this Chick-fil-A has missed items in my drive through order. Tonight, my child's kids meal was missing the entree portion - the chicken nuggets. There's always a line at the drive-thru but they're friendly, quick and efficient. I've eaten inside and they're just as good. The parking lot and inside of the restaurant are clean. Parking is kind of tough because the dive-thru obstructs getting to it. It's also shared with the gym. The food: I've gotten the spicy chicken sandwich and it's good but my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE is the Spicy Southwest Salad with the spicy dressing...omg, it's AmaZinG!!! TIP:: You can now buy the dressing at the supermarket. The fries...oh yeah!!!! Soooo good! It's the waffle cut of the fries that gives more fried surface area. Yum! We're extremely happy with the service we received today. My boyfriend and I go all over East Bay and he still wants to eat at Chick-fil-A but what set this location above the rest is that their food items come out super hot and fresh. We've been at Chick-fil-A's in the past where the food has been sitting out, or the frosted lemonade is watery or has too much ice cream in it for the lemonade ratio. We've also had situations where the fry oil is old and it burns the fries and gives it a bad taste. As you can see in the photos these fries are freshly made and golden, they tasted even yummier!! Come out to Walnut Creek Chick-a-Fila to enjoy the best quality for your buck! PSA: we always use order ahead through their app. This location can get pretty busy and this cuts the wait time in half for receiving our order. This place is AMAZING! I decided to go to try-out this place this afternoon and I ordered some Waffles and Chicken Nuggets. I got my order in just 3 minutes, which is really good(personally). And the Waffle and DELICIOUSE and the Chicken Nuggests are crispy on the outside and the inside meat was chewy but fully fully cooked. "Great service, not so great prices." I get great service every time I patronize this restaurant. It's in a busy center, right next to 24 hour fitness. There is almost always a big lineup partially blocking the parking lot. Today, I ordered the #1 chicken sandwich meal for about $10. My order was delivered to me in just a few minutes. The friendly server brought me the extra condiments I asked for. Almost everyone here is cheerful and friendly. It's a good chicken sandwich, but nothing special. The chicken sandwich was not good. Had no favor and I got sick after. I also ordered a cookie and accidentally dropped it and I went up to get another one to replace the one I dropped and they were trying to do a full investigation on the cookie. They wanted my name, receipt, when I got it and more. I ended up leaving because I through away my receipt away and they said no Cookie. I think it's so much for just a little cookie. Chick-fil-A is even better than I remembered!! There's none in East Bay / SF, so when we knew we would be in the Walnut Creek, we made a plan to come here to satisfy our cravings. My main piece of advice is to order through the app and pick up outside the store instead of going through the drive thru: it's so much faster. We came right before 10:30 during breakfast hours and waited in the drive thru for 15-20 mins. We didn't realize chicken sandwiches weren't available, so we first ordered a chicken biscuit, waffle fries, and nuggets to get started haha. The chicken biscuit was a bit dry but nothing that the Chick-fil-A sauce can't fix! The waffle fries and nuggets were just as yummy as I remember. Once it hit 10:30, we ordered a Spicy Chicken Deluxe sandwich on the app, indicated that we arrived already, and it was ready for pickup within 1-2 minutes. The chicken was spicy and juicy, ingredients were fresh, and the sandwich was my favorite part of the meal. The parking lot is also big and quiet if you just want to hang out and eat your meal in peace. I only wish this place was closer! read more

I'm surprised that after so many years of amazing food at Chik-fil-A that a 5 star review never followed! I don't even know where to start with my love and respect for Chik-fil-A and their business model centered around customer service. I first discovered Chick-fil-A like 7 years ago, and was drawn to their spicy chicken deluxe sandwich. This sandwich is hands down my favorite fast food sandwich. The sandwich has a very generous chicken breast that is so moist with a crunchy exterior that is just packed with spicy flavors! This sandwich is consistently just amazing, and the waffle fries with a drink make for a great meal every time! The entire menu has great food ranging from amazing salads, chicken salad sandwiches, tenders, and nuggets in either grilled or fried form are all very good! This place knows their chicken, and they do a great job with all their menu items. Their customer service is top notch, they often times will ask you if you want a refill, always have an impeccably clean condiments bar, and their many sauce options alone will make you want to come back! I don't think I've ever reviewed a fast food restaurant before, but this place goes up and beyond in my book. The food is pretty good- but the service and the management here is what makes this five stars for me. I've never seen such nice, friendly, and professional people working in a chain restaurant before. They have cute pots of flowers on each table! Real flowers! I ordered breakfast today with my mom and didn't order and drinks. The employee bringing our meal immediately asked whether we needed any water and brought out a cold water for me, and hot water for my mom. Super nice dude! His name began with an A and was super unique so I didn't catch the entire spelling. Thanks man! I also notice the manager making rounds, checking if the tables were clean and organized while we were eating. Believe it or not but this is only my second visit to Chick-fil-a in my life! Why couldn't I have been into this when I worked out in Walnut Creek?! I have driven by many times and the line is always long! Sometimes wrapping out onto the main road. Luckily it wasn't out on the main road when I visited but it was 2 cars away from being so. With that being said, the line is moving! We got through so quickly! I went with the chicken nuggets, waffle fries and the featured Cloudberry Sunjoy. The chicken nuggets are great because they are actual chunks of chicken! and the breading is nice and crunchy. I am not a huge waffle fry fan for some unknown reason but they were good. I will say though that my fry container was definitely under filled. No fries peeking out the top. That was sad. And the Cloudberry Sunjoy was a great treat for a hot day! OMG, Yelpers weren't kidding when they said the drive-thru line is long here!! It was insane, literally went all the way down the entire parking structure, loops and then split into 2 lanes! I've heard it goes fast though but I opted to d/l the app just to avoid the stop and go. The app was super easy to navigate through, lots of add-on options and the best part....it was AMAZINGLY fast how quick my order took. From the time I placed it when I got to the parking lot to when I received it, 10 minutes tops! As I was walking to the pick up window, I noticed a "Family Meal" option that I did not see on my app. I did not see a price for it but maybe that's the reason why people opt for the drive-thru instead of the app? The app may only have a limited menu compared to ordering through a live person? There is no Chick Fil A in San Francisco so whenever I'm in the surrounding Bay Area and there is one, I've got to swing by. The trend I've noticed is that Chick Fil A is always busy, especially their drive through, and when we arrived around 10:30am for lunch, there was already 10+ cars in the line. As a result, my friends and I opted to try our luck ordering inside. When we got inside, there was only one person ahead of us. We were able to quickly order and were instructed to wait to the side for our food. What was super impressive was that our food was ready for 5 people within 5-7 min! We'd still have been in the drive through if we went that way. In terms of food quality, this Chick Fil A experience was consistent with my expectations. It's crazy busy here during meal times. The drive through usually has a line that goes out the parking lot. Even if you preorder your stuff online, you may wait 5-10 minutes in the waiting area for your food. My suggestion is to preorder your stuff online then 5 minutes prior to arrival, click on the ready for pickup button in the app. Food is good and service is friendly.
