    Hash Brown Scramble Burrito
    Ernie S.

man, this place grinds my gears. I ordered these burritos with extra spicy chicken instead minus the hash browns and extra cheese. well, didn't get what I ordered AND I paid extra. I've noted these concerns before to the survey but I feel ignored and not made whole. clean location lots of parking but no love. not returning.

This was supposed to be an 8 piece. They didn't even give me SIX.

*This review is only for the iced coffee.* Call me a coffee snob but I tried theirs for the first time today & it was downright awful. Ordered it plain (as I like it - I'm an espresso girl) so I could really get a taste for the coffee itself. Oh lord almighty, double BLEK. Chick-fil-A has yummy food! But it's a huge NOPE for me on the iced coffee.

If I could leave more than 5 stars I would! Solely for the immaculate service from Xoechii (sorry if I misspelt it I quickly read it going through the drive through). She was super helpful and thoughtful and her energy was 10/10. She was understanding of me while trying to figure out how to use the app because I forgot my wallet. I usually go to the Thousand Oaks location because I've always felt the service to be better there before this-but definitely will be back now! Thank you Xoechii :)

Arrived in search of a scrumptious breakfast. They stopped serving breakfast early so I opted for a chicken deluxe sandwich, a side of mac & cheese and a side of yogurt parfait. It wasn't the best breakfast combination, but it was so good. There was barely anyone there and we got our meals super quick. They have a lovely outdoor patio with plenty of seating. Staff was quick and patient.

I love this location. In a pinch, I needed to get something to eat around 6pm and I was in and out. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, 4 chicken tenders, medium fries for $19. They were generous with their sauce packets, I love the Sriracha. My hubby and I split it all and it was just enough to hold us over. I don't like fast food but this place is OK.

Yes this is my kid and me bought last night two deluxe meals and ended up food poisining No school no work Who is in charge here?

It's Chick-fil-a so the food is as expected but the stand out for me? The outdoor seating. Something not found in many Colorado (my home) locations. Walk up to order or drive thru options and the staff was kind and the food delivery quick (the young lady walked over to bring our lunch). This to me is most remarkable in service (Colorado they just yell out your name and the only choice is to dine indoors next to the ever loud and popular play place). The area here is nice, clean and peaceful. I'm a big fan of Chick-fil-a and definitely of this location!

I got the #2 in medium and felt pretty happy with that spice level, we also got the Angry Mac in hot. I could not enjoy the angry Mac until much much after the burn of Angry rubbed off. I ended up with a burning mouth, and a runny nose from the level of spice. It even came down to scraping off the skin and spices to try to manage enjoying the center part of the chicken piece. Dear Hubby and I shared the #3 plate, which was one sandwich and one open-faced piece of chicken on a piece of Texas-style toast with a few pickle slices. It also came with a side of fries. We also added a side of rice (mistake - it was extremely bland and tasteless). Cole slaw might have been a better choice, and would have balanced the heat of the chicken. There were zero fountain beverages that I could enjoy. I don't drink caffeinated drinks, and I try to avoid copious amounts of sugar. I had water, and Dear Hubby got some root beer. The fries were quite delicious, and the amount provided was generous. That was a highlight of the meal, plus the dipping sauce for the chicken. The cashier was very friendly, so that was a plus and a good first impression. The interior restaurant space is really odd. They've laid it out so that two-tops are shoved up against one wall, and four-tops are shoved against the opposite wall, with an excessively large open space in the middle of the room. Seems like wasted space to me, and not visually interesting or welcoming. Farther across the room, away from the ordering stand and the kitchen, are several raised counters with barstools. DH and I ended up sitting at the end of one of those counter spots. We noted that there are other chicken spots very close by - Chick Fil-A, Zankou Chicken, Wing Stop, El Pollo Loco, this Angry Chickz place, and a Raising Cane's is going in to the spot previously occupied by Amy's. It's going to be chicken wars on two blocks of Moorpark Road!

They're pretty straight forward with the options being mainly: fish and chips, popcorn shrimp, and clam chowder. We got one order of the fish and chips and one order of the popcorn shrimp. Not more than fountain drinks though, and no dessert (however, they do have some pieces of taffy at the cash register!) We waited about 10 minutes for our meal to-go and got sauce to-go, as well. The food was pretty good! The fish and chips is a lot like how Malibu Seafood's are, and the pop shrimp was good, other than the fact the batter was quite thick or the shrimp wad quite small. It is a more plain dish, so dipping sauces, seasoning, and lemon slices are strongly recommended. The ambiance inside was good - quiet with a small work crew and not too busy. They could definitely gain more attention from the younger crowd and not just older folks by updating their menu a bit and freshening it up and/ or adding things like a rewards card, especially after being here for so long. Worth trying if you like this sort of food!

It's in the Promenade, so it can get a little crowded since it's in a busy shopping center. Free parking is available, though, which is nice. A lot of families and kids are typically here, especially since they're open pretty late (10/11pm) compared to the other places nearby in the area. With this in mind, a lot of the workers are mainly high school students or recent graduates. It's nice coming here on late night for a milkshake, whether it's classic or a trendy limited edition one; all are great. Their burgers are smash burgers without being in your face about it, and taste better than they look. For how they look though, I don't know why Shake Shack food always looks like it's been through a mild depression, although they're good tasting for looking a little sad. Their fries are pretty unique when it comes to fast food claiming their shapes, like Chick-fil-a with the waffle fries or In-n-Out's style, and are more like a crinkle cut. Shake Shack also sells hot dogs! I feel like this is something they don't promote and haven't promoted as much in recent years, but are slowly leaning more into it. (Please do!) The only thing that was a bit annoying was selling hot dogs, but then not being able to order much on it, like ketchup, mustard, and relish. They had a ketchup dispenser, but then only mustard plastic packets, and NO relish what-so-ever. However, I feel like with a bit of cleaning up, they could definitely boom more in that category of their menu. It's just a bit inconsistent at the current moment.

There's a story, and a reasonably happy ending to all of this. I was able to figure this out because when our order got short by a significant amount of food, I went looking to see if I could get this resolved at the restaurant. meanwhile, DoorDash was failing significantly (doorDash resolution when called was to offer an "email within three hours".) The Wings Out address that is shown online doesn't actually exist as an independent address. Wings Out also does not post a phone number for the local store. I figured out the location and the tie into Dave & Buster's when I got back home after my first failed search. Looking carefully at the map of the local mall, and not finding any such a suite number, I guessed at the overlap. I called the Dave & Buster's in Thousand Oaks in the Janss Mall and their staff both confirmed Wings Out was inside the operation, and was smart enough to kick my call to the general manager. I'll give the front line Dave and Buster staff credit for problem-solving. Meanwhile, their general manager, Nick Wilson, deserves some real credit for solving the problem. He offered to have the missing part of the order remade on the spot, ready to go in 15 minutes. I walked in the front door as Nick was walking up the main aisle with the to-go order in his hand . He had doubled the missing Wings Out order at no charge. We had time for a little chat about how well his crew and Nick himself resolved the problem, and I thanked him for his effort.
