I've honestly never had an experience like this at a Chick-fil-A before. First, they got my name wrong on the order, which wasn't a big deal. I also ordered a milkshake but received a Frosted Lemonade instead. Again, not the end of the world. What stood out more was the overall service. When I ordered, no one asked if I wanted any sauces, which is something I've always been asked at other Chick-fil-A locations. They also never said "my pleasure," which I know isn't required, but it's one of the little touches that makes Chick-fil-A stand out. I asked for Chick-fil-A sauce after placing my order. They had me pull forward to wait for fresh fries, which was completely fine, but when I received my food, the sauces were missing. I had to park, get out of my car, and walk back to the window to ask for them. Maybe I'm just spoiled by the Chick-fil-A locations in Los Angeles, but this was noticeably below the level of service I've come to expect from the brand. DONT BOTHER! NOT WORTH THE AGGRAVATION. Service is TERRIBLE and for some UNKNOWN reason the food isn't as fresh or tasty here as at the one on Moorpark in T.O. (odd ) Today, I made the mistake of giving this T.O Blvd. location another chance after not coming here for a long time for the same reasons that now prompt this review... foolishly I was thinking maybe things had changed or improved over time! Nope! Same ol terrible service, bad attitudes, mediocre food and the inability to move the line along without having people who order more than 3 items to park in the sun and wait while they tend to other customers. Could you imagine you're at a store and they ask you to pull over so they can get the people behind you checked out and on their way first because they have less items than you! As if their time is more valuable?! That is how this chick-fil-a operates and makes you feel. Today I ordered nuggets, chicken soup, parfaits, coffee and soda oh, and a bag of ice. The guy who took my order first says you'll have to wait 7-9 mins while we brew the coffee! Huh? Really!? Ok!? So, I finally get to the window and they hand me the drinks (coffee included) and the bag of ice I ordered and as is typical with this location, they immediately want me to "park" in the hot sun and wait while they get other patrons behind me out faster. Mind you I didn't order anything special nor was anything modified (2 nuggets, 2 soups and 3 parfaits and one deluxe chicken sandwich and 3 drinks); oh, and a bag of ice that the snotty girl child hands me before asking me to park in the hot sun for it to melt along with me. I say to her "I'd rather wait there at the window as it is in the shade"... the girl-child gets all pissy at this request and walks away from the window throwing her hands in the air and rolling her eyes as she yells "she doesn't want to park" and I literally don't see her again like she had a melt down! Really!? Haha. Another male kid comes over and explains they need to keep the line moving which is why they need me to park (I guess they thought a male child telling me to park would somehow change my request to not sit in the hot sun when it was nice and shady right there) ‍ I again explain a SECOND time that I have a headache and would really rather NOT park in the hot sun as my car is a convertible with a glass roof, It hot, my ice will melt, etc. (I've gotten stuck "PARKED" there for 15 mins and had to go inside to find out what was going on which is why I stopped going there previously.) I said IF YOU HAD A TARP OVER THERE PROVIDING SOME SHADE ID HAVE LESS OF A PROBLEM!!!! So now the manager comes over irritated and I explain a THIRD time why I don't want to wait in the sun and she says "you can wait there THIS ONE TIME but it's customary for us to have people park if the order isn't ready when you get to the window and then POOF literally within 20 seconds they had my order to me (which btw I later find out didn't include everything AND THE BAG OF ICE WAS SLIT OPEN AND SPILLED ALL OUT INSIDE THE BAG which is fine as I just use it for ice packs for migraines. ) NEVER go to this location and if you do don't let them park you in the sun so they can meet some kind of internal quota on how fast they get cars through. Also, check your orders as they're usually wrong at this location. Go to the one on Moorpark if you must as It's a bit better! I'm sure I'm eating/drinking spit. . Not all Chick-fil-a are equal. I was very disappointed in this spot. This location is drive thru only. There is some outdoor seating. My order was wrong. The sandwiches in the bag had my name and number as well as a name I did not recognize. So that person in the car behind me got my other sandwich. The chicken was extra crispy and almost burnt. The lettuce was not fresh. I will not return. The other location on Moorpark rd is much better. read more

It's Chick-fil-a so the food is as expected but the stand out for me? The outdoor seating. Something not found in many Colorado (my home) locations. Walk up to order or drive thru options and the staff was kind and the food delivery quick (the young lady walked over to bring our lunch). This to me is most remarkable in service (Colorado they just yell out your name and the only choice is to dine indoors next to the ever loud and popular play place). The service I experience is usually professional and friendly. The employee brought me my order however did not ask if I needed anything else as I did have a question and quickly left. Staff members are really friendly and know their stuff. In general, we try to minimize fast food restaurant visits, and make smarter choices when we do go to one. We have been to the large Thousand Oaks location several times, but hadn't tried the Westlake Village one before the other evening. I was surprised to find out that this one doesn't have indoor seating. Only the kitchen and the unisex restrooms are indoors. The program is that you either use the drive-thru, or else you go to a walk-up window, place your order and pay, and they will bring your food to you on the patio. The cashier who took our order was super-friendly, and helpful with their smartphone app, which earns you free food. I ordered their most popular sandwich, which comes with chicken, choice of cheese, and veggies (lettuce, tomato, pickle). Was happy to see that they offered peach shakes for summertime, so added that to my combo order. They prepare respectable onion rings, but this time, we opted for the waffle cut fries, which came in a generous portion. It was getting colder as the fog rolled in at the coast. While that was a big relief from all the heat the past two months, it also started to get a bit chilly sitting outside as we finished our sandwiches. Dear Hubby commented that he's driven by this location on a weekday at lunch time and there are huge lines for the drive-thru. I wonder if they regret not building an indoor space here? Time / money / zoning all came into play, I'm sure. They do make tender, flavorful chicken at Chick-fil-A - gotta give 'em that! Just what I was craving after a long day with lots of driving in it. I've ordered from here for Curbside pick up and hadn't had any problems till today. First there was no sauce in the bag even tho the gentlemen who handed it to me Confirmed there was, so I had to them get off and go get it myself. That wasn't the only issue I'm bothered with. Once I got back to my workplace I realized they handed me someone else's food! Completely different From what I had ordered what sucked more I just didn't order for myself I also ordered for my coworkers! I called couldn't even talk to anyone they transferred me to the call center or corporate office idk. They didn't resolve the issue I'm having to wait for a call to get a refund or resolution.
