Delicious! I would definitely eat there often if I lived in Rochester. We had a chicken sandwich (The Southern), a chicken mac and cheese bowl, and a side order of the pickled cucumbers and onions. Loved it! The breading on the chicken is light and flavorful, and the pieces of chicken are huge and perfectly cooked. Their sides were very nice and had a definite home-made quality. If you haven't been, GO! If I lived there, I would be addicted. There are two things to note though. It doesn't really have indoor seating, and the food tends to run toward the sweet side. Update: I reviewed Chick'N Out this morning before my boyfriend got up. When he did wake, he found out that I only did 4 stars and, after a heated discussion, he said, "They deserve 5 stars!! They exceeded ALL expectations." We rarely have good experiences with delivery and take out in general. I can't emphasize enough how this great meal made our night. He is very picky but he loved everything! The Mac Daddy sandwich was absolutely perfect. The garlic parm fries are like elevated McDonalds fries. The picture says it all! We couldn't go out to a restaurant for my dad's birthday so we ordered take out from Chick'n Out. I love being able to order online. We got the full flock which fed 5 people with a little left over! Chicken, Mac & Cheese, Corn and Fries with all the sauces and everything was delicious! Chicken was crunchy and juicy and you could tell it was good quality. The Mac & Cheese was creamy and tasty. The fries were perfectly cooked and the garlic parm touch was great! Fantastic experience at Chik'nOut, I questioned the amount of chicken tenders in the chicken tender salad (our favorite). I thought there was always 2 with the entree. I spoke with Dave the Brilliant manger to better understand my question. It was my misunderstanding totally. Most businesses would have let it go at that. This is the newest "hottest and Juiceist" fried chicken Pop Up restaurant In Roc. Where I encountered Chick'n Out was at ROC holiday village. It was Friday, dinner time and there was a line that was about 50 feet long, I thought damn this place must be good but didn't want to wait in line. Went back later and they were closed. I went to Roc holiday village the next day and there was a shorter line so decided I had to try it. While I waited in line behind only 8 other people I waited a solid 45 minutes, literally! Come to find out the reason the lines are so long is they have kitchen issues and are mismanaged. The reason why the line was so long and then closed Friday was because their friers broke down and they were trying to fix them. Saturday apparently the same thing happened again but only one fryer. Also the chicken finally showed up but they had no fries so held the line up even longer just because of French fries. The management team did not let the line know of this issue only the people in the very front of the line which I believe is bad business practice. The issue to repeat itself two days is also concerning to me. Also they had people in the stand just standing there when they could have been engaging with their customers in line and finally when the food was ready the person at the "register" didn't even know how to ring people out. The menu itself is very basic which is expected and good for a Pop Up joint. 2 jumbo tenders and Fries, southern chicken sandwich and fries and last just fries. You can get a side or ranch or honey mustard and extra cucumbers or sauce for 50 cents. Note the fries are garlic parm fries (which they don't mention on their menu). They are decently priced too. Some things they could improve upon is offering ketchup (who serves fries without ketchup). Also there is no hot sauce?!! Who in their right mind serves fried chicken without hot sauce, ya gotta know your customer base. With all that said they get a 3 star because their chicken is that damn delicious! I'm not even a fan of fried chicken but had to check out after seeing how delicious the jumbo chicken looked and what all the talk for this pop up place was about. So if they can get their management style and practice down this pop up place will continue to be poppin. But would never wait this long again to try fried chicken. read more

After several attempts I was finally able to "secure the chicken" as they say!!! And it was sooo worth it! Delicious, crispy, flavorful and ohhh sooo tasty! No wonder they sell out so quickly! You def want to follow their Insta to as Marshawn Lynch says "take care of your chicken!" We ordered a Lil Flock with Hot & Drizzle on the side (that's the "sting" honey for you newbies) with Buffalo and ranch sauce (Lil flock comes w/ your choice of 2 sauces)! Been wanting to get a chicken dinner for some time now. Finally my daughter got us to do it. Amazing crust and crunch. I was concerned that sitting in a takeout box would make it soggy. I was pleasantly surprised how well it kept. The dinner for 4 was enough for 4 dinners and 2 lunches. Mac and cheese and coleslaw sides were great. My favorite dipping sauce is the honey mustard which has slight heat and not too sweet. Biscuits are benchmark, best we have ever had. I see why they limit 6 to an order. Well done chicknoutroc! Chick'N Out deserves all the hype it gets! Honestly, it's the best fried chicken I've ever had and I lived in NC for several years... I definitely recommend getting the chicken sandwich, which came with two sides as part of the deal at the rooftop of the Strathallen hotel. I got the corn and fries - the fries were amazing, but I would probably either the Mac salad or coleslaw next time. For sauce options, my favorite is the buttermilk ranch. I also tried the amazing sauce, which was also really good and similar to a chipotle aoli. We were in Rochester for some Halloween activities and were supposed to go to the new Wingstop that recently opened however they were not taking any online or call in orders and with an attitude we started searching for different food around us...well let's just say it worked out in our favor because the food was had from Chick'n Out was soooooooo good. I had the chicken tenders with a side of mac & cheese as did my sister and my daughter had a couple sides of just the mac & cheese and we were all impressed with our food. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, I had to try it without any dipping sauce first just to taste the chicken itself and it was excellent. Also please take note that they are on the menu with chicken tenders but they are huge lol... they are also most importantly, homemade. The mac & cheese was really good and well seasoned also. Oh and let me not forget to mention they have Kool-Aid...yes Kool Aid and they even have my favorite flavor, ORANGE! Our meals also came with a side of cukes and onions and vinegar which were so good. For dessert we had some banana pudding and it was also great, it didn't have any artificial banana taste or anything like that which I was so happy about, it taste more along the lines of homemade banana pudding (as in no Jello Pudding out the box involved). I mentioned it was my first time and she read the menu for me and even offered some suggestions. During one of their orders, I was able to get the large chicken order immediately when the order launched and the pick up was seamless. I came with my niece and nephew both under 3 years old who were very excited for chicken fingers and it made getting lunch and finding another place very difficult.
