Been eating here for a while and generally always consistent. In other words, I liove it! I gave 5 stars today bc there is a special way I order my food that has been problematic in other establishments. But from day 1, Y'all understood the assignment. I usually get my Catfish from here because of the way they cook it. And I always get a pan of Catfish filets. I went Yesterday, June 28 around 3pm in the afternoon to get a pan. I came home and noticed it was darker than usual but decided to give it a try. After the first bite, I noticed something off. My husband who cooks all the time tasted and said, this is not Catfish. The fish was cooked but it was stiff. Catfish is flaky. This was fish, but not Catfish. Very disappointing. It tasted like Swai fish. I feel like you shouldn't advertise Catfish when it is not. I worked at this restaurant in the past year or so, giving them the majority of my nights and weekends with little to no appreciation. Making sure all of the customers were well taken cared of. Had to work with all kinds of perverted men while on shift, while they were being sexual and flirting and doing whatever they wanted to do inside and out the store. Still haven't been paid for 3 days that I worked back in February!! The owners/managers are ignoring me after several attempts of trying to get paid what I'm owed so now I'm here. I've been to the store multiple times and even called being very polite and professional and still nothing. I worked all my shifts up until I was sick and then this happens. I even reached out on the Facebook page and someone blocked me, but guess what you can't block me on here or delete this message so everyone will know how y'all get down !!! I just want what I'm owed, what I worked for. IMO....I called to place an order, the phone etiquette was polite you are not rushed off the phone. I order a small catfish with mild sauce only on the fries and 6 wings with mild and hot sauce on fries and wings. Catfish breading is different it was a good taste which I enjoyed, they was very stingy with the mild sauce for my fries. 6 wings same small wings as Harold's, they give you a lot of fries, again stingy on sauce. So, I can't rate the sauce since I couldn't get a taste of it. I would go back to try something else on the menu. read more

The restaurant has a good decor, service was expedient, and the 4 wing option I ordered was a solid choice! The wings are definitely quality; falls right off the bone. Food was prepared in a fair amount of time. Freahly cooked. Chicken was decent, my fries were a little overcooked for my taste. But still good. The perch! I wasnt ready for. Cooked perfectly, crispy, flavorful and good. I was NOT, ready for the spicyness to it. It was very delicious on there, dont get me wrong, but im not a hot & spicy food eater, so it caught me way off guard. But it wasnt overbearing, and i totally enjoyed it. I almost wanted to call the health department. it was disgusting truly sad.
