This was a nice little café that popped up in a strip mall on 151st Street. A number of these cafés have started in Orland Park, and we're making the round of them ... the last one we were at was Marouf Café, which serves that namesake coffee). Cello was the same, but different. Similar to the Starbucks ethos, they specialize in a number of fancy coffees, yet still offer plain old brewed coffee. We tried the brewed coffee (5-star fresh and hot), some Green Tea called mint (5-star delish), and a fruit crêpe. Now the fruit crêpe was also a 5-star offering, but you better come hungry ... it was a huge helping, and we ended up splitting it but still could not finish. It was a freshly made crêpe with Nutella and a light cream sauce inside, piled with fresh fruit and then a drizzle of Nutella and the cream sauce on top. This was a meal-sized delight. Many of the other offerings seem to be simply a different riff on the fruit crêpe, which can also come on a fresh waffle. Now this is not the kind of place where you pop in for a quick coffee to go ... but, rather, it takes time to get food (service) here because most of it is freshly made. But that said, if you have the time the food (crepes, coffee, and tea) were worth the wait. Ambiance wise, the decor was very nice ... just enough fru-fru to make you forget you're in a strip mall. There are a number of chairs, tables, and and sofas around to make many seating arrangements, which was nice; you can come with a group or as a single and feel welcome. The only negatives on our visit: the music list was fine, but way too loud; they must turn the music down so patrons can have a conversation. When we arrived we noticed an employee parking their car right in front of the establishment (5 feet from the entrance) and we thought that maybe they could have parked in the spaces just across the lot (35 feet from the door); it just makes sense to cater to your customers, rather than yourself. Came in with a friend to catch up. I ordered a tiramisu latte, she got a cappuccino and slice of cheesecake. The first thing I noticed was the strong smell of fabulosa, I truly wish places would stop using this. It almost overpowered the normal smells in the cafe. After sitting, we noticed random pieces of printer paper taped to the walls asking to clean up after ourselves. Not a problem, but there was no clear spot to clean up. The top of the garbage cans were covered in plants and ash trays, so there was no where to put the dishes. The three employees sitting at the table next to the garbage just stared at us instead of pointing us in the right direction. We ended up putting it on the counter. I also found it odd to give us a table marker and number to put on our table, but we had to go get our items. I wanted to try a new coffee spot and I was excited to try this place, having seen it on TikTok! I was able to snag the seasonal apple coffee (I can't recall the name) and it was very good! I REALLY enjoyed the bottles that were for the to-go orders and that's what really caught my eye. I've never seen a coffee served this way. So fun! The downside of this place is the wait time. The wait time was horrible and I totally understand that places get busy but the wait time was similar to the wait time at an actual sit down restaurant and I definitely saw plenty of people behind the counters so I'm not sure what caused it but that's the biggest downfall here. I'm glad that the space is large enough to host people but where you line up, it does merge into the seating area so just in general, if you're okay with waiting like that, then it's totally fine but it definitely slowed things down. Stopped by at this cute little coffee/crepe/dessert shop with a friend. I got the classic milk boba tea and she got a frap. We both loved our drinks - frap looked very decadent and on the sweeter side. The boba wasn't super sweet but delicious nonetheless. We shared a chocolate crepe and it was Devine - real chocolate and honestly it was so yummy i wish i tried a savory one. The service was great and plenty of seating. This cafe overs a wide variety of drinks from matcha, coffee, to refreshers and has a good selection of pastries. I ordered a strawberry matcha, it was delicious and dried strawberries were added to the top of the drink. The cold foam was $1 extra and prices mirror Starbucks prices. The service took a while, I only ordered a drink and waited about 15 minutes. I visited with 6 other people but we all had separate orders. We wanted a sweet treat after a day of shopping, looked up "dessert" on yelp and came across this place. There were a few people inside and we stopped by. It seems to be family owned and operated - and that goes a long way because the service was exceptional. The staff checked in on us regularly and made sure we had everything we needed. As for the treats themselves, I went with my typical strawberry Nutella crepe, which was huge and very filling - I took leftovers. I could understand the absurd 30 minute wait time for a latte and a matcha if it was executed well... it was not. We waited 30 minutes due to the young man that was working leaving drinks half made on the counter to go and talk to his friends. I watched these boys "dab each other up" 29 times before he returned to our drinks. After receiving the drinks, you can imagine my disappointment when my matcha was mostly milk and had so much vanilla syrup in it that it was UNDRINKABLE. I then waited another 10 minutes while homeboy chatted with his friends at the register, until I could finally speak to someone. The vibes are so cute. The drinks and food are great, freshly made. I will keep returning because of this and to keep trying new things. However, there is a long wait time, have waited 30 mins - almost an hour on different visits. When arriving the welcome is a little cold. But the atmosphere is great. I had the Turkey and Cheese Crepe. It was amazing! The best crepe I have ever had in my life. No exaggeration here. This place knows their stuff! The presentation was excellent as well as the freshness of their ingredients. My wife had the fruit waffle. It was amazing as well! The freshest of the ingredients we have ever experienced anywhere else. This venue appears to be a well kept secret. As the place should be packed with customers. This is one of the best places to eat in the area. The owner knows what she is doing and has a very high class talent in all aspects of a restaurant. It is beautiful inside, nicely decorated too. When you walk in no one even acknowledged we walked in and we were the only ones there. I ordered the pistachio crepe and the rest ordered ice cream and Boba tea. The crepe looked nice and was good but it was so rich & sweet you could only take a few bites and they are around $15. Then on top they sprinkled something on it that tasted very strange, & not good tasting. The ice cream I hate to say was terrible, lacking flavor and tasted old it even was gritty. one of the most unprofessional business I've had the displeasure of visiting... horrible wait time and almost hour for 3 drinks that came out 1 at a time.. due the fact the lady making them was out in the car arguing with the 12 other people who im not sure if they worked there or not, but were in and out of the cooking and prepping stations. I guess this why they have a no refund policy and all 17 of the signs that warning you or the wait time is an understatement.. and the cherry on top is the the drinks were mediocre at best. read more

If you want your mouth to be blessed, you need to come here. I ordered the iced mocha and the Oreo crepe. The iced mocha is creamy, smooth, and delicious - you could tell the worker made it with love. But the crepe, let me tell you. I don't think I have experienced a more beautiful taste than that Oreo crepe. The worker threw out the first one he made, because it was not to his satisfaction to serve me. Then, he proceeded to put his art skills to work, and made the most beautiful presentation. But the taste, is what lead me to heaven. It's indescribable, but I will be back no doubt. Great place for afternoon sweet drink and light meal. I was pleasantly surprised by how large the avocado toast meal was. It was also super fresh and light.
