    Catfish and chicken combo meal
    Alicia B.

I haven't had this place since I was a little girl. I wanted something different today and ordered off ubereats. I did find them to be reasonably priced. Its hard to get two catfish filets, 3 whole wings and fries for only 12.00. It did come with bread, pickles and onion as well. It was good to me, my only gripe I ordered a pepsi and they gave me a root beer . I hate root beer . Service professional, ambiance is a take out place. No eating in, grab n go

The chicken and service was top notch. Definitely don't judge this book by the cover.

The customer service was amazing, they were so kind and happy when I walked in. There is a sitting area to eat inside but it seems more like a pick up & go place, I could be wrong. However, it's sooo good that I will be driving back an hour with my family soon!

They took over the spot and also it looked like an additional space next door that seemed like an a To Go or order pick up space, connected by a connecting door space. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, around 3:00 pm. One table eating in and another waiting. You step to the counter to order, there was one guy explaining the menu and answering the questions we had, and a guy on the register. I connected the dots when reviewing the menu, a food genre with several different options. Steakburgers, Sandwiches, Loaded Potatoes, Salads, All Day Breakfast, Flatbreads, Fried Chicken and Wings, Mexican, Greek, Pasta, and Drinks. This is a lot of options, we are on a Fried Chicken kick so we did the fried chicken, half chicken with a biscuit, and boneless wings tossed in wing sauce. We took the order to go and tried the boneless wings before driving away. I was afraid they were going to have thick, crusty, and dense breading but the breading was thin, crispy, and really good. The sauce was the right amount and not too much. The ranch dressing was ok; I didn't use it after trying it. We had a long trek home after a couple more pit stops so we reheated the regular fried chicken in the air fryer before digging in. It was pretty good. The biscuit was ok, wasn't sure if it was homemade or not. We will definitely stop in again when we are in the area. Staff was friendly and helpful and several tables if you want to dine in.

Waiter suggested getting the bread and snacks so we could decided to try it. Bread and butter were tasty and fresh. The snacks were good too! I also really enjoyed my non alcoholic drink (can't remember what it was called). This is a 4 course meal, including dessert so we had to pick one item from each category. I chose the carrots to start and they were yummy and flavorful! For my second course, I had the rabbit, it was good too, but my friend had the trout and I really enjoyed it. For the 3rd course, I had the spare ribs and they were amazing! I ended my meal with a rubarb dessert, which was tasty too! Overall great meal, and just the right amount of food! Tables were a little tight together, but the atmosphere here is good. Not too loud. The light behind my friend was flickering a bit, which was a little annoying, but def not enough to take away from the yumminess of my meal! Def plan to go back!

If you want to dine here make sure to book at least 1 month or 2 in advance. This is a tasting menu style so you will pay $75 for 4 courses, which is not bad in my opinion. There are snacks options for a small additional fare. I highly recommend ordering the snacks since the courses are in small portions. I got the 4-way appetizers and my favorites were the Onion Jam and Fava Goat Cheese and the Liver Corn cookie. They were definitely the stars of the night. I tried almost all the options for the courses. My recommendation would be White Asparagus Soup, Lamb and Garlic, Fresh Cheese Dumplings, Roast Chicken and Lemon Semifreddo. The vibe here is nice. Perfect for date nights. I knocked off a star because I wasn't blown away by some of the dishes.

I like Gouda Cheese and it's not offered on a burger at many places, so I took advantage of this opportunity. Adding bacon to a burger is a no brainer, so the pairing was a winner. For a side, I went premium and enjoyed a side of house-made onion rings. OMG! These rings easily make my top three onion rings. They were huge, sliced thick, the onion still had a snap and the seasoning on the breading was super peppery, which I like. They offer a good variety of draft beers and we all know a cold beer goes well with a smash burger. My bartender was friendly and attentive. She was hustling serving the bar and tables in the bar area. She made everyone feel welcomed. When in Collinsville, I'll be sure to stop by again. They're adding pizza to the menu and I'll have to give it a try.

Ranch dressing KILLLER!! 10 out of 10. Baked Beans 3 out of 10 disappointing. Very bland. They were fresh beans but needed more seasoning or something. They weren't very busy so it was pretty quiet overall but they have Touch Tunes so that was nice. Waitress (Madison) super attentive, friendly, 10 out of 10 for her! We will be back to see how they evolve!!
