Global Quesadilla had fallen off my radar. I pretty much forgot about it for some reason. I saw something about it in an article and thought we should go again sometime. A few nights ago we just wanted something quick, so we came here. The physical space looks like I remembered it. It's a little tired looking. We checked out the menu for a few minutes and then placed our order at the counter. We got our soft drinks and chose a table. Our chips and queso were brought over right away. Our quesadillas came out maybe five minutes or so later. The queso was just okay. I prefer the smooth, creamy, white queso. I ordered the Tropical Chicken quesadilla and my husband ordered the Cancun quesadilla. They're really big! While there was technically nothing really wrong with the quesadillas, they were not good. They were perfectly edible. They both were almost completely flavorless. We brought the leftovers home and added flavor when we ate them. The whole experience was just meh. The staff is great, the food is always fresh and they have this type of soda pop there that is unique amongst others. I placed a delivery order for myself and coworkers (totaling $99.81). Driver picked up our food then drove somewhere else where his vehicle didn't move for 20 minutes before coming to us. We received wrong items, missing items, and the food was cold. I called the location we ordered from and was told I would have to take it up with Door Dash and they would not take any ownership of the problem. He told me he was not responsible for what the delivery company does once the order leaves. We love the food so will be ordering from the Creve Coeur location and not the Chesterfield one in the future. I heard from the business owner, Kevin, who was very concerned about my review. After discussing what had occurred, he was very responsive to what had happened and done everything possible to resolve the situation. We wanted lunch. I thought about Global Quesadilla Company. I had never been here before, but I wanted to try it. My coworker was ready to eat lunch, too. They have quite a bit of options. I decided to try the Texan minus the bacon. It was huge. I couldn't eat it all. I try the chips a queso, too. The chips weren't the best. The queso was good. Fair warning, if you're going to a place with quesadilla on the marquee you probably should order what they say they are known for. Lesson learned. We rolled in for a quick lunch after shopping nearby. It was 11:30, they were doing brisk take out biz and there were a few folks scattered around the joint-so we thought okay, this must be okay. My lady ordered a Salad, I decided to go with the Mexico Nachos. I love a good Nacho plate and felt like this could be a winner, after all the sign said; Nachos save lives. I wasn't saved. First the positive: Good sodas and the queso was very good too. Now the critique. My nachos were constructed as follows: take chips and scatter them on a cardboard box, toss on some shredded bag lettuce, some finely diced tomatoes and cold steak pieces-only just a few. Put a plastic container of queso in the corner, close it up and serve it. The salad-take some lettuce, a few ingredients like corn, cheese, cold chicken and bacon and toss it into a togo container. Hand to the customer, with one fork, no napkins and call it good. That's it, that's how it came, that's what we were given. Like I said, we probably should have ordered the quesadillas. The other customers seemed to have picked that up and appeared to be enjoying their lunch. Not sure I'd go back but some folks find it worthwhile obviously with the steady carry out biz. We were not greeted warmly, the person taking our order was in fact, rather untalkative, not helpful or present for me to ask for a fork after we placed our order-not sure if they had a family emergency or something but we never saw them at the counter again. read more

Giving it 1 more star because I came in recently with a friend and the quesadilla was better than I have had in the past. I think whoever makes the food now definitely makes it better. I was always slightly disappointed in the past, but kept going based on portion and quick place to eat. I came here with a friend for a quick bite before heading to the movies. He never tried it before so I said okay reluctantly. When our food came out, he took a bite and said it's not bad! I tried mine and was pleasantly surprised. My coworker and I got this for lunch Friday. We decided to get it at the place and bring back to the office. It's a fast passes place and we were eating shortly. My coworker got Santa Fe quesadilla. She loved it. She said it was loaded with delicious stuff to the rim. I got Texas quesadilla with no bacon and I splurged on sour cream. I ate half of it and I am feeling very full. I got the Cancun today which I would describe as a very classic flavor option. It came with salsa, sour cream, and guac. The included sides vary by the specific quesadilla and they all appear to be customizable. When reps bring food to my clinic, I typically ask for this. Quick lunch here and overspent $8 for a wrapped burrito of sorts. Menu stated it had chicken but I only saw 3 or 4 small pieces. Mostly rice and partially melted cheese. You can get traditional, Asian, BBQ, Italian, and more. The quesadillas are ginormous and packed full. I always have leftovers. My favorites are the Mexico City (traditional style) and the Cancun (fajita style). We usually get some chips, salsa, quad, and queso to share. The queso does have provel in it (which I am not a fan of), however there are other cheeses and nice spice to keep it from being sweet. So my wife is pregnant and asked me to order her the buffalo chicken quesadilla with 2 sides of ranch so I did. Paid for and even written on the quesadilla box but no ranch in box. Btw we were in the hospital. Why is it that when delivering an order the items are not checked for accuracy. Long story short she was upset and did not eat the quesadilla because the ranch was not there. The location closed by the time we noticed the ranch was not there. The quesadilla I got tonight was bad. There's usually crispy bacon bits in the wrap or quesadilla. Tonight there were many largish pieces of fat. I order chicken because I hate meat fat. I unfolded the quesadilla and there were no crispy bacon bits. It looked like pieces of fatty ham. Every bite I took contained a piece of meat fat. It's going to take me a while to get over this. Do NOT order delivery from here. First, there's a 17% gratuity delivery fee. Is that just the delivery fee because there's also a spot for a tip? Second, when we ordered online our estimated delivery time was an hour and twenty minutes. Not great but ok. So, an hour and forty minutes later I called and get "we're really busy and running 1.5 to 2 hours for delivery". Why couldn't you let us know? So, now it's TWO HOURS exactly from when we placed the order. I called, get the same excuse and it will be another twenty minutes. Ordered the Thai Chicken on the recommendation of a staff member, and boy did she steer me in the right direction. Well cooked chicken, spicy peanut sauce, and the right veggies in the right proportions. The husband had the Montreal Steak; it was good, but not as good as mine. Lucky for him, I couldn't eat all of mine. Seemed really weird that they put many culture's flavors in tortillas but it really works.
