We were here for a personalized head chef experience! Being allergic to beef and pork I was a bit hesitant but it turns out I had nothing to worry about! We started out with appetizers of jumbo shrimp, baked goat cheese, wellfleet oysters and short ribs on toast. Next we were served both Ceasar and winter yellow beet salad. Next came a delicious seafood ravioli. The highlight of the evening, Tomahawk Ribeyes, served with scallops with bacon, Brussels sprouts and jumbo lobster tail. For me, I had scallops with Parmesan risotto and salmon and lobster tail. We topped the evening off with chocolate cake and a white chocolate strawberry mousse/cheesecake. Each course was paired with a lovely wine. Every we were served was extraordinary. 5 stars! The staff was attentive, professional and wonderful with my allergy issues. The restaurant was beautiful. Looking for a special girls night out, an anniversary or just an opportunity to dress up check out Steakhouse 1904 at River City Casino!

Then the woman with the dreads decided to disrespect me I asked her can I have my basket back and she caught a attitude. Other than that it was a scam none of your eggs had prizes in them you just took my money bc you wanted too. I try to support black owned but never again thank alot

Three stories that you can freely move though depending on your desired atmosphere. First floor is the restaurant (we had already eaten so didn't get a chance to try the food), second is the bar with a plethora of board games to choose from, a pool table and a dart board (darts were broken at the time but more were ordered). And the third floor is a video game ice cream parlor. We received a quick tour of the place and were told it is kid friendly until 9pm, which sounds great if you have a video game, ice cream lovin' kid (or husband). The staff was extremely friendly and the music was perfect for the vibe in the building.

Get a reservation or get there early…read more I had a BEAUTIFUL Sunday morning here. I checked the reservation online and they had a 10 AM opening and a line before they were even open. We sat outside , our server was wonderful and they were so helpful and accommodating. First I ordered the Dive Bar Coffee which just wasn't for me so i got the Dottie (with the good crunchy ice) instead and it was wonderful! (They even took the first one off and i didn't even ask, thoughtful. ) Food was delicious. My Hashbrown was delicious and crispy and seasoned and mm. And the salmon was yummy. My date got the baked eggs and loved it as well (they make their bread so will be back just to have bread). We also got the ButterScotch Budino for dessert. As someone who isn't a fan of pudding , this was goooooood. Salty, sweet and crumbling that cookie into it (per their suggestion), worth it. Their menu is seasonal so check before you go, but definitely go.

Yet another restaurant that surprised me in St. Louis. They have good food here. Like, foodie food…read more So my next dinner lead me to Little Fox. A small plates restaurant that felt a little Italian. We make reservations and show up to this place that looks like a neighborhood pub. Quaint, in the corner, inviting light shining through medium sized windows. Inside, the vibes were a hybrid of someone's very nice dining room and an old western saloon. I know that's almost nonsensical, but the vibes were good. We felt right at home. Service was spot on. The server was very nice and new the menu pretty well. The food came out tapas style, so when something was ready, it just came right out. I like that. I like the periods where there are so many plates on the table at one time that it's overwhelming. What's what eating is all about. As for the food itself, it was good. I'll give a little blurb on each thing, as not to wear out your eyeballs. Crispy Artichokes (sauce au vert). These were fun and nice and crispy. Don't see artichokes like these very often. The sauce was a little weak, though. Didn't exactly go well with these fried little morsels. 'Nduja Croquetas (bomba rice, spicy prosciutto, fontina, grenada pepper aioli). Wow, now these little flavor bombs cannot be missed. Spicy sausage arancinis with a nice peppery aioli to dip. An intensely flavorful little dish that I loved. Can't find it on the menu, maybe it was seasonal, maybe it was a special, but we had a bone marrow French onion soup that was nice. The soup was good good. Very well developed flavors. The marrow bone was a little sloppy, though, and we got a transverse cut of bone, leaving very little marrow to access. Next were the Mussels (green garlic broth, Spanish vermouth, pickled peppers, spring onions, grilled LF bread). Very well cooked mussels, sitting in a lovely broth to dip your bread in. Ask for extra bread. But do not ask for extra of that sauce. That was really bad sauce. Sauce work seems to be this place's only weak point. Probably the biggest dish of the night, the Bolognese Bianco (Newman Farms pork & mushroom bolognese, bucatini, gremolata, parmigiano reggiano). This was a really nice pasta dish! Love those big, thicc bucatini noodles. Flavorful bolognese, great texture from the gremolata, and just cheesy enough to make this probably the most complete dish of the night. Then finally the Sea Scallops (ramp soubise, morel mushrooms, house-cured pancetta). Scallops were scored and cooked to look like fine art. Light scallops paired with nice umami from the morels and the pancetta, all tied together by that nice soubise. You don't see that very often either. We ended the meal with a Sticky Toffee Pudding (apple & date cake, apple brandy toffee, crème chantilly, marcona almond tuile). Chef's kiss. Such a delicate sponge with a nice date flavor. Then boom, the sweet boozy toffee, the creamy chantilly, the texture from the tuile. Every element helped make this a great dessert to end a great meal. Overall, another very pleasant surprise. This was a very good dinner, and I'll definitely come back if I'm ever in St. Louis again.

Service was quick and our waiter was nice and knowledgeable. Very friendly. I go a coffee and my "friend" got a mimosa. We got the buttermilk biscuits to share and I got the breakfast sandwich. When I saw their post about the "cold weather comforts," I knew I had to go. We each did the pre fixe dinner- this included a salad, entree and dessert. Each. The chicken pot pie soup was not included, but was worth it. This soup--one of the best things I have ever eaten. I was speechless eating it. I had to text multiple people mid soup to tell them about it. The chicken was flavorful, and huge pieces. The soup itself was so delicious. It felt like a warm hug. I ordered the cottage pie. So delicious and hearty. The braised short rib was so tender. The potatoes were perfectly whipped. I cannot wait for the leftovers. My friend ordered the lasagna. The lamb was incredible. So hearty, and didn't feel heavy like some lasagnas can be. The serving size was huge. We will also be eating this tomorrow! Now the apple crisp. We were full by course two, but we had to dig in. It was fresh out of the oven. The vanilla bean whipped cream was so fresh and balanced out the crisp. The apples were perfectly jammy and the cinnamon was so intense but perfect. This made me feel like I was sitting in my grandma's dining room eating dessert after Sunday dinner. If you see any of these items appear on their menu, run-- and I will see you there!
