This was a disappointing experience I ordered the #1 and a snack pack. What's shown in the picture is the #1 I ordered. These chicken tenders weren't even tenders they were literally nuggets. I'm not one to complain but when I paid $12 for one item and I get these it was honestly very saddening. Out of the 6 tenders only one was a decent size. The customer service was fine, and the taste was good but the portions were very very small which was quite the disappointment.

It was a beautiful Spring day on a Saturday. My cousin was in the mood for his favorite, Chicken Express. We decided to head that way right at lunch time. We discovered an empty parking lot and an empty restaurant. Service was laid back with satisfactory food. Let me express myself. A light skinned black girl with pretty eyes and braids, took our order. My cuz and I messed up while ordering and she was very patient with us. Of course, I apologized on my behalf. Employees where just chilling and hangout in the kitchen. The order taker forgot to give us our drinks and went to check something in the kitchen so, it took a little bit, before I got my cup. I needed my drink right away bc, I was hangry. I wasn't sure how long the wait would be either. Lol. They have their own swagger about doing things and it's not express. Lol. She gave my cup to me. Unfortunately, I did not see the Tea fountain. Silly old me. Smh. It was my first time at this location. I asked her for some Sweet Tea. She ended up getting the Tea from behind the counter. I'm so glad she did. It was super sweet! Just the way, I like it! My cuz and I were the only ones in the restaurant. It was spacious and clean in there. I had just enough time to scope the scene out. Then my food arrived hot and fresh. My Chicken Strips were crispy, crunchy, and sticky? They were overcooked. This made them dry and stringy. The Chicken was sticking to my teeth. I had to ask myself, is it time for my six month teeth cleaning? Lol... My gravy was bland. However, my Corn Nuggets were impressive! It was a mixture of sweet Cream of Corn with regular Corn fried in batter. My roll was super sweet and had be craving it the next day. Let me catch you up on some things, it's not crowded during lunch, it's clean, service was good but, chill and food was satisfactory with a need of improvement. Lol. I sound like a teacher, making a comment on your report card regarding your behavior.

    Two receipt

I am deaf. I write the note for order. That's different three foods. I showed him a note that I ordered and bought it. Then, I checked the receipt, but just two foods. I told him where one missed food. He said the same way. I said no. Get another number 1 again. He said again. I was very mad and tried to explain to him. I said another #1 and no spicy. I another bought it. Finally I got all the food. Went to home and ready to eat. But my food is spicy. He is the worst service. He must carefully read!

Been a while since I've eaten here. The food was excellent and the customer service was even better. The food was out only a few minutes after ordering. I'll definitely eat here again soon.

For the life of me, I've never figured out why they call chicken tenders, fingers. Chickens don't have fingers! Ha ha ha! I like Raising Cane's because they have a limited menu, and the choices are easy to decide on. Smart idea, do what you do and do it well! We decided to order the Caniac Combo to share. It included 6 Chicken Fingers, Crinkle-Cut Fries, 2 Cane's Sauces, Texas Toast, Coleslaw, and a Large Fountain Drink. All we had to do was add an extra drink. The Caniac Combo was plenty for us to share. Watching the staff in the back was like watching a finely tuned military unit march in precision. As we were seated and waiting for our order, I looked around the dining room and noticed it was VERY clean and the counters were shining. The drink station was neat and orderly. It showed the employees took pride in their place of work. Our Caniac Combo was ready in a jiff, and the fingers were right out of the fryer, crisp and delicious. Love the Cane's Sauce, fries, and slaw. Cane's has some of the best Texas Toast in the fast food business. Overall, we had an awesome, relaxing visit to Raising Cane's. We'll definitely be back again soon when we're in the area.

I've had a few experiences where I had to wait for someone to notice me, but once they did, they were polite and efficient. The food is good and served piping hot and really fresh. I'm not a huge dipper, but I can't get enough of the Cane's sauce. This location is usually pretty clean, but can get a little grimy during the lunch rush. I see the employees hustle to tidy up whenever they have a free moment. Overall, I think this Cane's location is great for a quick meal, especially if you are a chicken tender fan like me.

Give these guys a raise immediately!…read more I messed up big time yesterday and accidentally placed a pre-order for the completely wrong day. I showed up at 10 PM--which was like 15 to 20 minutes after they had already closed--ready for food, only to realize my mistake. Instead of telling me I was out of luck, the crew at this Cockrell Ave location went completely above and beyond. They literally fired up the very last open fryer just to make sure I didn't leave empty-handed, and they even threw in an extra tender. That is next-level customer service. Managing partners/corporate: please give this late-night crew a raise. They are carrying the brand on their backs! Food was amazing, but the staff is unmatched. I'll be a customer for life.

I read the reviews and this is a popular restaurant. I noticed they have a location by TCU too! Here's what I discovered. I love the atmosphere but the windows were tinted pretty dark so, it looked like it was closed. However, it was not. There were quite a few people inside. The music was on and the temperature inside was just right but the temperature of the Cashier was not. She seemed like she was in a bad mood and she didn't want to take my order and was rushing because, she was talking so, fast I couldn't understand her. I ordered a Slider and Fries. The Chicken Strip was hearty, a lot bigger than Raising Canes, that's for sure. The taste was lacking. Ugg, it did not have a good taste. I do not know what seasoning they used but, it was not to my liking. The Fries were dry and flavorless. In sum, it was not yum. Service was slow and rude. I like the ambiance, colorful, unique with Chicken decor, really cute. I wanted to like this place but, it fell short in my opinion.

Dammmm. Oh this place is legit…read more I've been to the Stockyards many times, but never here. This time, I Yelped burgers and Hooker's popped up. I've seen this lace but didn't understand it. But Yelp is rarely wrong so off I go. I showed up and ordered from a small kitchen woo. Menu was on a board. I got a single patty chz burger w/ crispy FFs. Order showed up a few minutes later. This burger was one of the best I've ever had. And I've had Margie's in Bryan and this one is right there. Juicy patty, grilled onions, melting cheese, a little salt n pepper. Oh so good. The FFs are good too. Thin sliced n seasoned just right - for me. And rounding it off old school, RC Cola. It was a great lunch.

We had a weekday off and decided to make an effort to show up. We werent disappointed! We didnt want to go into a food coma, so we ordered an indian taco to share and some tater tots. It took maybe 7 minutes for our order, which was not bad at all with them frying up the frybread on order. To our surprise, the owner decided that the one frybread we were initially having was too small, so we got two "medium" frybreads with all the fixings. The owner is super nice and didnt have to do that! The frybread itself is the best Ive had at a restaurant in DFW. Its soft, while crispy and substantial in its doughiness. The fixings are not fancy, but they are executed well in every aspect. I like that they offer green chili sauce in addition to all the typical taco fixings. The tater tots were super crispy and were exactly what I wanted in tater tots. While the seating here is in a covered outdoor shack, they do have air conditioning. The day we visited was a pleasant 70 degrees, so there was no need for the AC to run. But I also mention this in case you come in August. I imagine the AC unit does a good job, but its not a typical interior setup.
