    Homemade Banana Pudding

I was excited to try Kincaids after driving past numerous times. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant gives off a homey and welcoming vibe, like walking into your grandparents house during the summer.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Unfortunately the welcoming atmosphere was short lived.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The cashier was impatient and visibly annoyed at the extra time we needed to look over the menu and decide what we wanted. We stood about 4-5 feet away from the counter and continued looking up at the menu discussing with each other what we were thinking. The cashier called us up to order, and when we stated we needed a moment to look at the menu, he continued to call another member from our group to order. She also said she needed time. He was rolling his eyes quite frequently throughout our quick visit which was quite disappointing as we actually looked forward to eating there but ultimately decided to take our food home. The food was definitely edible, but I'm not sure it's a place I'm going to visit again. The banana pudding was more of a whipped banana mousse than a pudding.

First time at this location! Gentry Family owned! I recently moved to this area and I was excited to see there was a location 7min from my house!! Kincaids is a great place for a consistently good burger and I love getting a milkshake to dip my fries in!!

The burgers are bland needing more seasoning. My ticket was $32 and some change. I went to counter to ask for honey mustard as I am eating in the restaurant and I was met with being told it'll cost 0.81 cents. Ok. Thank you for your generous customer service.

Kincaid's is always good. The burgers are great, but this visit I tried the chicken sandwich. It was really good, very moist. The service was really friendly, the young man that took my order was super nice. Overall, it was a very good and I'll be back.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Family oriented, benched chairs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 2 cashier stations. Open kitchenconcept, you will smell like burgers. No waiting area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The on the right side and have more benching to the left and the bathrooms are on the far left.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Women stall- 2 bathroom, cheap toilet, you have to push the flush with your foot kind. 1 sink. Baby changing station.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] In the middle there are the condiments, Powerade, root beer, limes for teas. They do provide clear water cups. The cashiers do not have a microphone! They will try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But the big benches with like 6 groups 2-3 people groups. It's loud without it being loud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Anyways. It's next to the toll tag place. B O O. lol anyways, they shouldn't be wasting paper like that and allegedly having my govt name................

    Enjoying the burger!

The food is great as far as fast food places go. The staff is friendly and efficient. I'm from out of town and my sister suggested this place. I'm glad we came!

Waiting 40 minutes for our order was already frustrating, but what really upset me was how it was handled. When I asked about the delay, I was told this is "normal" because the chicken takes forever, with no apology or sense of care. The manager was extremely rude and dismissive, which made the situation even worse. Long waits happen, but being treated like your time doesn't matter is unacceptable. This experience left a really bad impression, and it's disappointing because it could have been handled with simple kindness and respect

Solid burger with very good beef, both for their burgers and Texas chili. When one looks up the best regional hamburger chains, WhatABurger always pops up for Texas, but because Kincaid's is so much smaller (only 5 locations throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth), it isn't as well known. Well, our nephew had once told me a while back that he thought Kincaid's was the best burger he had in the states...so when I saw this location close to where we were staying, I knew we had to give it a try. It was founded in Fort Worth in 1946, and still has that old walk-up hamburger joint feel. The menu is small, with their burgers coming in two sizes: regular being 1/2 lb and a junior being a typical quarter pound. Their beef is ground fresh in-house and it really shows. We ended up ordering 5 cheeseburgers ($6.15), and they will come with mustard, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, raw onions. You can ask for mayo and/or ketchup. The toppings are meh here...just enough to dress up the burger, but I can see why some people might just keep it simple and ask for it with some raw onion and maybe some pickles. We also ordered crinkle cut fries ($2.75), which were OK and got a bowl of chili for $6 to dip our fries in. The chili was excellent...beanless and hearty. The consistency was similar to the chilli put on hamburgers in LA...but without the strong Greek spices that I don't care for. This would really go well on a hot dog, which they also offer here. Seating is via long picnic tables, similar to what you would find in a TX BBQ restaurant. They make everything fresh so it took about 15 minutes for the food to be ready. They use an old system of putting the ordered items written on paper bags, and they fulfill the bags....resulting in having a separate paper bag for each person. But the payment and receipt is all modern and electronic. For us, this resulted in a discrepancy with what we paid for and what was ordered. I ended up paying for the fries separately, because it had not been charged initially. Not a big deal, but there is a reason why restaurants don't use this method anymore.

This is only the second time I've ever eaten here. Everything is a la carte, so be prepared to pay a little extra for a burger AND fries, plus a drink if desired. (Water is free!) The food was as delicious as remembered. Also, there are long picnic tables for communal seating. If it's busy, what a great way to meet new people by sitting next to them. Ordering food was easy. Thankfully there was a short line. Probably due to eating after the lunch rush. The restaurant seemed clean with no piling up of debris in the trash cans. The staff seemed on top of taking them out when needed. Overall, I had a great experience. Will definitely eat here again.

All of the food was delicious. Drinks were great. The food was not cheap but the price was very fair for what we got. The drinks were reasonably priced. We stayed for about 4 hours. My kids played Starwars pin ball, they played on a really cool play ground, jumped on their jumping station, and played on their pedal controlled race car track. It was hot, so we let the kids play for a bit, then moved to eat inside until the sun went down a little more then we went outside. They had fans and misters for the heat. The lighting and atmosphere were awesome, especially as it got darker. The bathrooms were decent. All staff I interacted with were super helpful and friendly, We will be back! My kids were worn out, we had really yummy food. Really amazing experience.

As if Chuck E Cheese got into the beer brewing industry. Had to use my phone to first sign a waiver, which is odd and felt like a ploy to be able to get your information probably for marketing. Also had to use your phone in order to order food even though I was standing at the counter speaking to an employee. Tried the mini corn dogs and fries. Both tasted frozen which was a letdown since breweries usually have great food. The beer is definitely the star of the place though as it should be. Will continue to buy it in the stores but wouldn't return to the brewery.

Dammmm. Oh this place is legit…read more I've been to the Stockyards many times, but never here. This time, I Yelped burgers and Hooker's popped up. I've seen this lace but didn't understand it. But Yelp is rarely wrong so off I go. I showed up and ordered from a small kitchen woo. Menu was on a board. I got a single patty chz burger w/ crispy FFs. Order showed up a few minutes later. This burger was one of the best I've ever had. And I've had Margie's in Bryan and this one is right there. Juicy patty, grilled onions, melting cheese, a little salt n pepper. Oh so good. The FFs are good too. Thin sliced n seasoned just right - for me. And rounding it off old school, RC Cola. It was a great lunch.

We had a weekday off and decided to make an effort to show up. We werent disappointed! We didnt want to go into a food coma, so we ordered an indian taco to share and some tater tots. It took maybe 7 minutes for our order, which was not bad at all with them frying up the frybread on order. To our surprise, the owner decided that the one frybread we were initially having was too small, so we got two "medium" frybreads with all the fixings. The owner is super nice and didnt have to do that! The frybread itself is the best Ive had at a restaurant in DFW. Its soft, while crispy and substantial in its doughiness. The fixings are not fancy, but they are executed well in every aspect. I like that they offer green chili sauce in addition to all the typical taco fixings. The tater tots were super crispy and were exactly what I wanted in tater tots. While the seating here is in a covered outdoor shack, they do have air conditioning. The day we visited was a pleasant 70 degrees, so there was no need for the AC to run. But I also mention this in case you come in August. I imagine the AC unit does a good job, but its not a typical interior setup.
