THIS is how you do it! We ordered our burgers to go and went to pick it up. They left off our veggies so we had to go back. The manager, Kevin, was so gracious and remade our order and reimbursed us. Once we got home, the food was excellent! The burgers were made and prepared as we requested. The okra was crispy and tasty and the onion rings were seasoned nicely. This is a go to for fresh burgers and they don't usually get it wrong, but it is nice to know the manager is on it, when someone makes a mistake. Thanks, Kevin! We'll definitely be back! read more

The young man behind the counter offered me a drink holder for my 2 chocolate milkshakes, I said no I've got it. Directly after I ran into the gentleman behind me pouring the milkshake all over me. The staff worked quickly to clean up the mess and make me a new shake. Excellent food and customer service always!! And don't forget your drink holder! read more

Baby changing station. In the middle there are the condiments, Powerade, root beer, limes for teas. They do provide clear water cups. The cashiers do not have a microphone! They will try. Solid burger with very good beef, both for their burgers and Texas chili. When one looks up the best regional hamburger chains, WhatABurger always pops up for Texas, but because Kincaid's is so much smaller (only 5 locations throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth), it isn't as well known. Well, our nephew had once told me a while back that he thought Kincaid's was the best burger he had in the states...so when I saw this location close to where we were staying, I knew we had to give it a try. It was founded in Fort Worth in 1946, and still has that old walk-up hamburger joint feel. The menu is small, with their burgers coming in two sizes: regular being 1/2 lb and a junior being a typical quarter pound. Their beef is ground fresh in-house and it really shows. We ended up ordering 5 cheeseburgers ($6.15), and they will come with mustard, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, raw onions. You can ask for mayo and/or ketchup. The toppings are meh here...just enough to dress up the burger, but I can see why some people might just keep it simple and ask for it with some raw onion and maybe some pickles. We also ordered crinkle cut fries ($2.75), which were OK and got a bowl of chili for $6 to dip our fries in. The chili was excellent...beanless and hearty. The consistency was similar to the chilli put on hamburgers in LA...but without the strong Greek spices that I don't care for. This would really go well on a hot dog, which they also offer here. Seating is via long picnic tables, similar to what you would find in a TX BBQ restaurant. They make everything fresh so it took about 15 minutes for the food to be ready. They use an old system of putting the ordered items written on paper bags, and they fulfill the bags....resulting in having a separate paper bag for each person. But the payment and receipt is all modern and electronic. For us, this resulted in a discrepancy with what we paid for and what was ordered. I ended up paying for the fries separately, because it had not been charged initially. Not a big deal, but there is a reason why restaurants don't use this method anymore. read more

I usually don't have issues at this place however tonight really bothered me I asked for extra seasoning and when the lady who took my order advised the cook he then yells out " Oh he must won't diabetes" funny but not funny maybe his ignorance was so strong that he probably meant to say high blood pressure lol as a business owner and CEO I will spend another dime of my money at this location and to add insult to injury the manager wasn't sincere when she apologized I walked to the front door out of sight but not completely out the building I heard the manager mention it to the cook and that laugh and made ugly comments horrible experience I wonder if anyone else has ran into any issues at this location read more

This is only the second time I've ever eaten here. Everything is a la carte, so be prepared to pay a little extra for a burger AND fries, plus a drink if desired. (Water is free!) The food was as delicious as remembered. Also, there are long picnic tables for communal seating. If it's busy, what a great way to meet new people by sitting next to them. Ordering food was easy. Thankfully there was a short line. Probably due to eating after the lunch rush. The restaurant seemed clean with no piling up of debris in the trash cans. It's been a long time since my last visit, but Kincaid's is still has the best burgers in Fort Worth, imo, and is one of the best in Texas. The 1/2 pound patties are cooked to your order, I prefer medium. If it's not like you ordered, they'll happily make it again. The bun doesn't overwhelm the burger. The crinkle cut fries taste very good, as do the fresh onion rings. The all beef dogs are great, especially with mustard, onions and chili. Was feeling like a good burger so I took the little woman to the Hulen K's. Ordered the Kids burger (it comes with fries). Then it went downhill. The "helper" behind the counter couldn't last round 1 of a 3rd grade spelling bee. Gave the name Stephanie. He needed help. We had to spell it out. Ok. Part 2: when I got the order it had no fries. When I asked for them they were puzzled that fries come with the kids meal??? What...? Showed him the bag. Still puzzled. Finally they gave the fries.... I love Kincaid's and have since moving to the DFW area years ago. They have the best hamburgers, fries and onion rings around!! I love that they give you a choice of a small burger for a smaller appetite, or a large burger when you're super hungry. Amazing chili too - they have my favorite chili cheese burger anywhere, and it's Texas style with no beans, just hearty meaty chili that is the perfect accompaniment to their delicious burgers. The camp Bowie location is the only one I want to go to since the Overton location seems to have some management issues they need to take care of. Kincaid's is a great local spot for burgers. I ventured out here on a drizzerable Saturday afternoon before a TCU football game. The line was a little long but they seems fairly efficient getting orders out. The burger itself was good (it was warm but not hot). As of late, I've been on a bender looking for a burger that actually tastes like the pictures of sloppily piled meat swimming in cheese. After so much disappointment, I always end up at Kincaid's to reset. I've become really fond of the Hulen area store because it is just a comfortable place where good folks are grabbing a bite to eat and seemingly enjoying the company of others. That's a rare thing in the age of hustle and bustle. Deviled eggs, yes please! Pimento jalapeños, check!
