Half-fat shack with fried pickles and cheddar cheese sauce.
    Stephanie S.

The 11 am-4 pm $10.99 burger lunch special was good! It comes with a single cheeseburger, french fries & fountain drink. I ordered the $10.99 half-fat shack. Added fried pickles and cheddar cheese sauce. Next time I'll only order a half or whole philly cheesesteak sandwich. The philly cheesesteak and cheddar cheese sauce I included in my fat sandwich was bomb! But the fat sandwiches aren't my thing. It was too much going on for me to enjoy it. I guess the establishment doesn't accept calls. No one answers the phone! When I arrived, it didn't take long to prepare my order. The service was decent, and the establishment had a cool vibe.

We tried this place for the first time and were pleasantly surprised! They serve burgers and "fat sandwiches" which are basically a ton of toppings/sides shoved into a sandwich roll. We got the "fat jersey", "fat shack" and "fat cow". They were massive with tons of flavor! The fat shack had a little bit of everything, and it tasted the best! Would for sure go back!

Yiiikes not gonna lie this was a trashy stinky gross mistake. I mean i get it it's a stoner joint it's open til 3am but dude hell no I would never want anybody to try this location. It smelled oh it was filthy and dirty and ughh don't even get me started on the restroom that was disgusting. It smelled so bad and it was as dirty in that restroom as it was outside. How can a big time restaurant franchise like this have a nasty new joint like this open? Not being racist but don't mind my detailed choice of words but I think this location is ran by an Indian family. You had a dopey little Indian dude walking out front stoned I mean yeah it's ok with me I don't care about being smoked out but dude this location was gross. Anyways they were jamming out to party Indian music I'm guessing that was another friend or family member working the kitchen. Anyways waaaay over priced food like $17 for just a drink, burger and fries and $25 for a Philly cheese, onion rings and drink. The food wasn't good the burger was over cooked or made on a dirty grill. It had allot of char on the burger and the fries were soggy and had a gross taste like old oil. The Philly wasn't bad it had allot of meat but little cheese and no veggies. The onions were just as bad as the fries. They have a whole wall or walls covered with store merchandise but they don't sell it you have to order online. Pure stupid I've never gone to a shop with advertised merchandise only to be told that you can only get it online. That's by far the dumbest concept! You're given a few packets of ketchup no salt or pepper located or even some sort of hot sauce. Out of all the tables around me only one table had napkins all the others including the one I was sitting at were all out. The place was dead nobody was eating there and they had zero effort to clean it up. If you look around you will see stains and finger prints on the walls and tables. The front door was just as bad and the giant bean bags are soo filthy I strongly recommend you don't even sit on them.

Food was delicious! I have read the comments and decided to give it a try even though there a lot of negative comments. Came here today, nobody in the restaurant, ordered myself a fat shack sub with no honey mustard, let me tell you, when it's fresh it's soooooo goood!!! Not a lot of service, but I didn't need any to eat or get my own drink. I do recommend to try it, but I would suggest to come in store and eat so you can get it fresh out the grill!

Heard great things so a friend and I checked it out. Noticed lunch specials for wings as well as burgers so we got that. I chose the xtra Buffalo sauce on my wings which came with a side of ranch, fries and a soda. My friend's burger was the same sans ranch. The wings have been on my mind!! Although small, they were so crispy and delicious. I know it's called Fat Shack but I really wanted carrots and celery instead of fries to go with my wings. My friend said that her burger was delicious as well. I checked in as I thought I saw tht I could get some fried Oreos but no such luck. I'll be back and in fact am thinking of returning now.

Interesting choice for lunch today! Yummy, fresh, quick and the staff was awesome! They are practicing safe distancing. Love the difference menu! On the TCU area, and parking wasn't to bad. It was a Saturday, so we got a close up street parking. Will try again!

Let me start off with: how great is it to get a taste of state fair any day of the week? They serve HUGE stuffed sandwiches with fillings like cheesesteak, onion rings, french fries, and cheese sticks. The sandwich is paired with a choice of sauce. Typically they have a open sauce bar when you dine in but right now they charge for to go since the pandemic is happening. We got the fat shack (the sandwich they're known for) and fried cheesecake which cost us about $18 which is a bit pricey. Our sandwich was missing the cheesesteak component which was the reason we bought the fat shack which is a bit pricier. We were disappointed about that but service was good. We ordered online and picked up during the time frame they gave. The taste was ok. I wasnt wowed but it could be my personal taste where I rather have chicken fingers and french fries rather a sandwich with a 1 of each filling. The dessert was good, super sweet but nice variety like fried twinkie, fried oreos and fried cookies. Overall the price is ok. Taste was average. But variety is definitely the wow factor. Definitely worth a try but I don't think I will return especially when since my order was messed up.

I wish I was young enough to do this place justice but alas, the junk food of tomorrow is tonight's Everest, feast and be merry my pre-diabetic friends (diabetics: proceed with caution). These @sharktankabc deal makers are Late Night Done Right! They're known for their Fat Sandwiches. I tried their signature "The FAT SHACK" which is made with: Cheesesteak, chicken fingers, jalapeno poppers, mozzarella sticks, french fries, onion rings and choice of sauce like ranch, cheddar cheese, or delicious Honey Mustard. I couldn't choose so I got all three. That's ONE sandwich and that is all the ingredients inside that ONE sandwich. It was INTENSE. I was full after a few bites. It's everything and the sink with These people. Absolutely an indulgence in the moment, but tasted horrible reheated. It's totally something you can share but I wouldn't take leftovers home unless I ate it that day. So don't get a bigger size thinking it's good for two meals. Just enjoy it when it's fresh. The FAT DOOBIE (chicken fingers, French fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and honey mustard) And the FAT COW (mac n' cheese, bacon, french fries, mozzarella sticks, and buffalo ranch) are fan favourites. Also have desserts like deep fried Oreos, cookies, cheesecake bites, funnel cake bites, and Rice Krispie bites, or try one of their milkshakes. The deep fried Oreos are very similar to what we get at the TX state fair. But at the sauce station, they also have chocolate and strawberry dipping sauces! It's obviously sweet enough with the powdered sugar, but hey!...You only live once. Get your late night eats by delivery through all major delivery services or come thru as they're open till 1 AM weekdays and 3 AM Friday and Saturday night. @crjetc

If anything, that actually added to the experience for her. She liked the vibe and inside decor, not because she partakes in cannabis use, but she's not familiar with the 420 culture in the first place so it all kind of stood out. I agree with that as well. The design plays into the theme well! This of course extends to the menu as well. All sandwiches are named after different strains of weed. I got the Kali Mist - a spicy turkey club - on white and my mom got the KGB - a roast beef and horseradish sandich - on garlic herb. As opposed to small, medium, large, the sizes are nug, pinner, and blunt. We both got nug sizes since we weren't too hungry at the time but still wanted to try. Long story short, the sandwiches were absolutely delicious. They're all toasted so the bread provides a great, warm base. The avocado on the Kali Mist stood out for me, providing a nice rich flavor and texture amongst everything else. I tried a bit of the KGB as well and the horseradish gives a nice contrast to the flavorful roast beef. Overall, I would definitely come back again to try out more of the sandwiches.

This particular spot is a deli sandwich place; they do have some standout choices, but I was craving tuna, so I ordered their Pacific Blue (Tuna Melt). Loved that they toasted the buns; it was good but didn't wow me. They skimped on the cheese and didn't add the jalapeños I requested. Service was incredibly slow, but there was a huge rush-hour crowd, so I'll overlook it. All in all, the theme is cool. Loved that they had vendors and music available the day we went; it gave us an opportunity to have something to do while we waited. I did spot board games, but naturally didn't think we'd need them. The goo ball was overly buttery and definitely had peanut butter. It was good for the first couple of bites but I quickly tossed it afterward once it became too much. If a deli is your thing, give it a try. I'm sure on any other given day they'd be better at delivering a sandwich with everything.
