Part 8 - After watching Good Mythical Morning (GMM) with Rhett and Link as they did a blind taste test of chicken tenders. The tender taste test quest continues! Today I ordered the number 1 4pc Express Tenders for $7.39, which comes with fries, biscuit, and gravy. Let's talk about them tenders! Tenders: Moistness - 10 Seasoning - 9 Crunch - 11* Overall - 10 The crunch was out of this world! Two tenders were slightly under seasoned but the other two were perfect, so I had to dock a point for that but based on the two that were seasoned - they were seasoned perfectly and the gravy only enhanced the flavors. The tips of the tenders had a nice light crispy golden coating that has put everyone to shame. They were hot and juicy and delicious. I'm in tender heaven! The crunch was on a different level. They broke my scale and I'm totally okay with that. The fries were light and crispy and tasted like mashed potatoes when you dipped them in gravy. It was so awesome. Perfectly seasoned. The biscuit was a bonus (you basically get an order of biscuits and gravy with your chicken) and it was dang good. Light, buttery, fluffy, crispy crusty, and not dry at all. The gravy was great! Not floury, not uncooked milky but seasoned well balanced between pepper and salt and perfect for the tenders This place should be packed if they can keep it consistently good like this and I hope they do because I will be back! read more

The lady said she couldn't hear me and told me to pull around after a bunch of cussing could be heard. Got around to order and they poured so much salt on the fries and catfish. You couldn't eat one bite. Grease and salt everywhere. This is my first bad experience with this location. read more

Over 60 dollars and no customers yet they left out all the fish and 16 hush puppies. They pack it all in a little bag so it is a mess and hassle to pull out and check. I will not be returning especially when the food is so expensive. read more

Manager there is horrible and they got my order wrong,Food was missing and then he argued with me about fixing it and giving me a large for my inconvenience. I see now why they only had two customers and when I went, there was no one in the drive-through or inside, so I'm not sure how they even got my order wrong HORRIBLE customer service. QUALITY CONTROL. Chicken breast, thighs, and roll were very overcooked and dry. My meal tasted nothing like my local Chicken Express in Edmond. Changing my review to 1 star. I live on the east side of Norman so there aren't many options for restaurants. EVERY TIME WE GO TO THIS LOCATION we have to go back to get the rest of our order. The food is good but terrible customer service. It's also a wait on chicken no matter what time of day you go. A very obese woman w/pinkish hair wanted to argue w/me about how long it was. She was borderline belligerent. I had to ask twice for the refund receipt? We stopped by Chicken E while in Norman today with the family and ordered in the Drive Thru. I'm a big fan of the hot wings at Chicken E and they have become my main order. So I was really looking forward to the mouthwatering taste of 6 piping hot Chicken Wings, my son decided to join in ordering him some too, but that's not what we got. We ordered 5 combos and I don't think one of them was correct. My chicken wings came out as around 50 bite sized boneless bites, as did my sons. Those that ordered mozzarella sticks got fries and those that ordered biscuits either got rolls or nothing at all. No straws were included in the order either. On the other hand, the food was good, I'm currently dying of thirst, but the food tasted good as always. If I could give 0 stars I would. First of all, the doors are closed due to CoronaVirus, which I completely understand... I didn't want to go in to begin with. So I have two separate orders that I wanted to make but the drive-thru dude told me that they are unable to do that through the drive-thru. Now does this makes sense?? Considering their doors are closed for dining in??? No, absolutely not. So what I will be doing is going around for a second time to make my separate order. And yes that means waiting in the line AGAIN. If you thought the line was quick it took 30 minutes with 4 cars... Chick-Fil-a would NEVER!!! I ordered 10/28/2021 at approximately 7:17pm. The order ended up being wrong; they didn't include mashed potatoes when I ordered them. The chicken tenders were under cooked and the rolls were not proofed enough and doughy inside; the rolls were a bit too dark. Chicken Express how I miss you so. Now that I am living across town I don't get to go here as often as I would like. I was sitting at home and craving chicken for football Saturday so I came up with a reason to drive across town and went to chicken express. All of their sides are good but I went with fries cause I think their French fries are some of the best. The #2 meal with 7 tenders is my go to whenever I am there. The food and service was as good as it always is. This place is consistent and churns out quality visit after quality visit. Three times in a row this place has gotten my order Wrong! I am tired of dealing with their 2-digit-IQ employees. In the future, I will either drive to Church's Chicken in Moore or order from Church's Chicken on Grubhub. Used to really like this place, but they have really cheapened the orders (paid extra for 3 thighs and got leg, thigh, wing) and have gone drastically downhill. read more

Customer service sucks. Staff are impatient and look miserable. I probably wouldn't be happy working at fast food either but they should at least try. No straws with our drinks. Mac and cheese was nasty nasty. Paid extra for sauce which is weird because our order was chicken strips but even more concerning is not only the extra hidden charge but they gave me incorrect sauces. In Norman, Oklahoma picking up a order for postmates. I had 2 cars ahead of me, and a long line behind me. I finally get to the window to pick up the order to find out I need to pull up and wait. I watched about 3 cars behind me get their order and leave. I tried to enter the store to find out where was the order I needed to delivery. The doors were lock. This place reminds me of Grandy's in a way with their food choices. The chicken isn't bad at all. I think it's better than the Church's Chicken they're next door to. I usually get the 6 pieces chicken liver combo, which they cook really well. They don't worry too much about presentation. Most of the time they throw your chicken pieces on top of the sides you've ordered. Also their mash potatoes and gravy kind of suck. The cup you get is like 10% mash potato and 90% white gravy.
