I added six shrimp, which were delicious, and had a plain baked potato loaded up with butter and sour cream. Instead of the veggie of the day, one of the servers recommended the kebab vegetables, and I'm so glad they did. They were coated in a delicious marinade and paired perfectly with the grilled jalapeños I ordered on the side. Simple meal, cooked right, and exactly what I was craving. I always like going to Texas Roadhouse. The food, service and friendliness of the staff is always spot on. Today wasn't much different. Let's start with the good... I ordered the 12oz New York strip. It was perfect. Cooked to a perfect medium rare and melted in my mouth. The salad was okay and the rolls with the cinnamon butter are always a crowd pleaser. Now the bad... I sat at the bar. I got there around 4:00pm so there were only a few people there. I waited a while and then as I was getting up to get a table instead of staying at the bar a manager approached me and asked if I needed help. I told her that her staff was too busy having social time to assist me so I was going to get a table. She promptly addressed that and I was finally helped. Unfortunately the service at the bar did not improve the remainder of my dinner. Then there was the potato. It was maybe room temperature. Let's just say it didn't even melt the butter! Probably the worst experience I've had at Texas Roadhouse. The steak and rolls were great but the rest had a lot of room for improvement. Overall grade "C". I will return. Really like the food here but the service and atmosphere really lacks. To start the new check in sucks. They page you on the phone then you stand inside and it is ridiculously loud and they seem disorganized with who they call. It is very cramped at the tables. Tonight the food came and my steak had something white in it. Not fat, not gristle but something I have never seen. Sent it back but by the time it came back the family was basically done eating and I didn't feel like keeping them waiting plus I wasn't really hungry by then. Packed for Veterans Day! It was unfortunate we went to get a free meal for my dad but we missed the small detail about the veteran meal vouchers having to be picked up between 11-2pm. Nonetheless he got a veteran discount and the place really decorated and even had a table dedicated/ reserved to our fallen soldiers. Our waitress, Danielle, was very busy but managed her section positively and professionally- we liked her. We had the onion blossom for our appetizer and of course the most perfect, fluffy, warm and buttery buns to stay with. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it is actually the size of 2 big sandwiches. They gave me all the meat on the side too, it is a huge serving. My dad got the pork chops and made a completely happy plate. My mom got the chicken fried chicken and loved it, and packed her leftovers to take with her to work the next day. When the 3 of us were in the parking lot after walking out of the building, each of us acknowledged how audibly and visually overstimulating the energy felt in that restaurant. So loud- but we knew to expect that too! It's not a quiet, romantic dinner. It's a good place to go with your coworkers and talk crap about your bosses and eat a decently priced, big portion meal. I did feel a bit icky due to my lack of self control with those warm buns and cinnamon butter, lead me to thinking about how TRH probably contributed to the deathly statistic of why heart disease in America. My mother in law was kind enough to take me to the Texas Roadhouse on I240. I'm so sorry I didn't get our servers name but he was SUPER good. He was there when we needed and not there when we didn't. he took great care of us. I got the bone in ribeye and it was delicious. Cooked just how I ordered. I also got the green beans and salad and both were yummy. My only complaint is I wish this location had more tables instead of booths. None of the employees choose this so I'm not taking it away from their score. For us larger folk squeezing into a booth can put a real sour start to a meal. March 21. We had a birthday party at road house. One table with 3 adults and 4 kids, had to wait 30 minutes for any drinks to show up after drink order. Then another 30 minutes for food order, after all the tables around us got new people showing up. At the new customers got their drinks and food before we did. I love Texas Roadhouse! Every time I come here my food is great! My favorite is the loaded sweet potatoes with marshmallows! What can I say, I love sweets. Haha. This time of year tried the mushroom chicken with a side of Caesar salad. The salad was so good, but I should have got my dressing on the side, since it's covered in dressing. Very good, but I just didn't want that much on there. My chicken was warm, but it could have been heated a little more. I am sad that they are no longer giving out peanuts in the waiting room, my favorite feature of Texas Roadhouse. The rolls remain to be my favorite food item from this steakhouse though. The wait is still as long as ever, an hour plus waiting time and I could see why. Texas Roadhouse serves USDA choice steaks for one of the lowest prices available. A 20 oz ribeye costs only $30, a cost too difficult to beat. Like the saying, " You pay for what you get," a large portion of the steak is fat so don't be fooled by the picture. Steamed broccoli and baked potato are the best sides for me at Texas Roadhouse, always have and always will be. Texas Roadhouse is a great steakhouse as long as you ignore the long wait time and the lower quality steaks. But for that price range, it's impossible to not recommend. read more

NOTICE: This review is actually from a month ago but never posted for some reason. The app was acting strange that night regardless, another bangin' evening at the Roadhouse! Came to The Roadhouse this evening because we were let down by another restaurant. But TR always does it right and they sure didn't disappoint this evening. We had some challenges with the app but Becca (manager on duty) stepped in and made things sing right away and fixed things with a chorus of hospitality. Super impressive on a Saturday night with a full house! Our server (Will) was swamped with his tables and manager Courtney stepped in for the assist. Between the two of them we didn't want for anything. Glasses always full, appetizer hot, salads timely and chilled, and the food piping hot. I have no complaints only compliments for TR in saving the evening for my family. The wife, her daughter and mom along with my parents andall enjoyed our meals.
