Sorely disappointed in my meal today. Haven't had Swadleys in a few years used to love it. Food was always fresh and good and decent portions for the money. NOT now. I paid 17.99 for the ultimate bbq combo sandwich. It was awful. Hardly any meat at all on there. It had 4 pieces of sausage sliced maybe a spoonful of the pulled pork and two tiny slivers of the sliced brisket. It also comes with bacon but I had that left off. The brisket meat tasted dry as heck and had no flavor. The pulled pork reminded me of the like canned beef jerky it was so dry. The sausage was also flavorless. Only thing that was decent was the fries. For 17.99 for a sandwich called "ultimate" I was expecting it to be piled high with meat and be good and flavorful. My daughter got the double stack cheeseburger she said it was ok but tasted very smoky. I did a pick up order so maybe that's why I'm not sure but would not recommend and don't plan to go back. Spent nearly $40 dollars on food that we didn't even eat ended up giving to the dog and getting McDonald's. read more

Came in yesterday. Two of us ordered. One ordered a meal with a drink and the other ordered a water. We were given one cup. I assumed that meant we needed to fill our own cup... guess not because I was reprimanded by a wait person. After a few minutes, my companion told the waitress that she hadn't received a cup for her drink. The waitress coolly responded " well that's not the way it works "....... what??? We finally got our food... no silverware. Waitress seemed inattentive. Food was unremarkable. Okra was gross... rock hard on the outside and hollow inside like the Griswald Christmas turkey. And tasted burnt. Chicken strips had the same taste. I think it's time to change out the frying oil! read more

I've been looking for some good BBQ, and this place certainly did not disappoint! I had never been here, so I got the sampler, definitely enough for 2 people or 2 meals. Everything was great, but believe it or not, my favorite meat was the chicken!! It was so juicy, tender, and had a great smoke flavor. The ribs were also practically perfect, and I got the fatty brisket...... OMG succulent. The sides were just basic sides. Nothing really special. Lets the meat kinda stand on its own. For dessert, I got the apple cobbler and ice cream. PHENOMENAL!!! Some of the best apple cobbler I've had. I will be back probably this week lol read more

I came by late in the day for some good food to round out my long day. I realize I was sliding through that drive thru really close to closing but the family wanted some bbq. Placed my order and the young lady was thorough in repeating my order and asking for sides and such. Paid and headed home ready to eat and relax. After ten plus hours it's time to kick back doing ya know. I found the kids meal never made it to the bag. Ugh..... but it was at closing and things happen. First off, it's disappointing to have a computer answer your call. Ask for "customer service" to be connected to the host station. We placed our order online. We selected the "Delivery" option. Nowhere does it indicate that Swadley's does not deliver and uses a third-party vendor. Swadley's uses Door Dash for their deliveries. Around the time of estimated delivery, we were waiting outside, but no one showed up. I called Swadley's and was told they had no way of tracking our order because they use a third-party delivery service. I spoke to the manager, Aaron, who was dismissive in saying there was nothing they could do and offered the first name and number of the Door Dash driver. A recording for the phone number advised the number is a non-working number. Another call to Aaron resulted in him advising I call Door Dash's customer service. I placed the order on Swadley's website and was not informed that delivery service is farmed out. Aaron told me their computer indicated the time of delivery had been 15 minutes prior. He was not interested and did not understand the reasoning about how this was the restaurant's problem. Very poor customer service for Swadley's. 20 minutes after this call, a Door Dash drive arrived explaining he had another prior delivery that caused our order to be delayed. Swadley's had been recommended as a great place for BBQ, and were looking forward to this, but honestly it was just general run-of-the-mill food. I would not recommend Swadley's because of third-party delivery, poor customer service, and generic BBQ. read more

Practically perfection! I decided to get the burnt ends brisket plate with two sides: crispy okra, coleslaw and some tea of course! Everything was really good and I would get this same plate again. My SO and I done out 2-3 times per week. We have never had an issue until now. The burnt ends are always a favorite. This is the only thing that we both ate. Usually the burnt ends are fresh, sooooo tender and juicy. Yesterday these were not. Could not bite into or chew the burnt part, a favorite, and we had to cut the meat part with a knife and chew it forever! Plus, since last night both of us has had stomach issues!!! Went to the south OKC location (S Western) and had the sliced brisket. By far one of the worst visits to this location. The brisket was tough as shoe leather, then you through in the cost. A well deserved 1. Come on Swadley's you can do better. read more

Second time in a row we felt something was going in the wrong direction. We were charged extra unknowingly when asked about a selection, salad bowls were noticeably smaller and the okra was fried nearly black and dried out with no taste even when we requested it not be prepared like the "manager" likes it. This review is going to be rather simple although this bbq is far from that! It's very rare that you find a bbq chain with outstanding bbq but Swadley's is definitely one of them!! Great food! We shared a big sample plate and split it 3 ways so we all got to try several meats. The decor was unique and service was great. You do walk up order but then they wait on you from there. Foods brought out and they fetch you onions, pickles and sauce. Won't hesitate to eat there again when in the city. read more

I'm able to eat breakfast once a week so I saved it for Saturday morning this week. Been wanting to try the breakfast burritos. Instead I got this sad representation of a breakfast burrito for 4 dollars a piece. Looks more like a breakfast Taquito with almost no eggs and some slivers of brisket. Won't be doing that again. I can not recommend this location due to the lack of value and obvious lack of training for the employees on how to make a actual breakfast burrito. read more

It is so hit and miss with this location. My husband and I usually get the oklahoma sampler. I asked for lean brisket but they were full of fat. The ribs were full of fat. Swadley's used to have a rib basket that had two decent ribs and fries. Not a great meal, but certainly tolerable. Now they changed it to a rib ends basket that contains burned bones, gristle, and greasy fries. The prices have gone up out of sight and the food quality and service has gone down. Don't bother asking for blackberry cobbler because they always say they just sold out. They are sold out when they open the door. I have no idea why people keep eating here.
