The restaurant is clean but the floor is extremely greasy and definitely a slip hazard concern for the elderly. To my surprise the combo meal which cost $15 does not even come with any sauce as sauce is sold separately at .50 per small little serving cup. I think this is pretty ridiculous. Prefect spot to stop while shopping at dadeland when you want something quick but want to avoid the food court. The menu is mainly chicken tenders either alone or in a sandwich. I opted for the sauce on my sandwich to be in the side. The sandwich itself was really good. I was able to pick two sauces so was able to switch between the two. Both were really good. There a bunch of different sauce options to choose from. The fries were really great! They come seasoned. Not sure exactly what the seasoning is but it tasted almost like barbecue chips. I have been looking forward to trying Guy Fieri's famous chicken guy diner style restaurant, and it was a bit of a hit or miss. I ordered the Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ: Pepper jack, bourbon brown sugar BBQ sauce, special sauce, slaw, pickles & BBQ kettle chips. The chicken was crispy and sauces and toppings were delicious, but I definitely felt a bit off after I finished it, too salty. My son ordered the Buffalo Mac 'N' Cheese Sandwich Mac 'n' cheese, smoked bacon, buffalo, smc, garlic parmesan At first he seemed to like it, but then he was complaining that his stomach was bothering him. Not sure if it was the sandwich or the fries, which were completely covered in seasoning, just too much seasoning. We had some of their famous shakes, the cookies and cream, and the mint chocolate chip very sweet a bit too much and my sister had the hot honey chicken sandwich again it just didn't really taste fresh. Finally got to give this place a try tonight after years of waiting and it was definitely a treat! My husband and I went for a quick bite to eat. I ordered a Big Bite sandwich, my son got the Mac & Cheese, and my husband opted to give the tenders a try. As we searched for a table the kindest person advised us that they had just cleaned tables in the back that were ready to be sat at. We grabbed our drinks at the fountains and sat at a table. Shortly after sitting our food was brought over to us (thankfully because we were starving). The tenders were large pieces sitting on top of a bed of well seasoned fries, the macaroni looked restaurant worthy with breadcrumbs sitting on top of the creamy spiral noodles and my sandwich was STACKED with 2 large tenders, deliciously flavored shredded lettuce and crispy bacon. The food, although fast food, was delicious! The chicken was crispy, the macaroni was cheesy and creamy, the sandwich was loaded with flavor and the French fries didn't even need sauce as they were seasoned deliciously. As we enjoyed our meals, the same person that advised us about seating came by and insisted my son taste his macaroni with avocado sauce and brought over a container with the sauces. Although my son was not interested in eating avocado, my husband and I happily devoured the sauce with our food. Delicious. The chipotle sauce was better than the donkey sauce. They have lots of sauces to try but they only allowed me to pick two. After 2 years of waiting for this spot to open up it's finally here! I had the "sauce boss" chicken sandwich which was just 2 chicken tenders with lettuce, tomatoes and onions. I ordered my sandwich without pickles although it still came with pickles on top. I know it wasn't the fault of the person that took my order because I saw him enter "no pickles" on the screen. I come here every time I come to the mall, and I have to say that the cashier Leslie is amazing. Every time we come she is friendly and very helpful whenever we're indecisive or have an issue. Last week we came and ordered the 50 tenders and a 3 tender combo. On my app I saw that I had a reward but I didn't know that it had expired because it didn't say it on the app. Although she could've just told me it was expired and call it a day, she still gave it to me. Same with the 50 tenders, on the menu it says that it comes with 4 sauces but on their system it says 2 and she still gave us the 4. Guy Fieri brought Flavortown to Dadeland mall. Great fast casual option for lunch while shopping. It's located upstairs in the dining wing and not in the food court, which is usually overcrowded. There is plenty of seating inside the restaurant and a few tables on the outside balcony. You order first at the counter and then food is brought to your table. There is a greeter at the entrance that was very nice and knew all about the menu. I consider myself a "chicken tender connoisseur" because I love them and have tried a lot. An order of tenders comes with two sauces. I got the classic honey mustard and special sauce. Both were great. The special sauce had a tiny little kick to it I really enjoyed. My only issue was there was no background music and the floors were dangerously slippery. Now for the food, I had the buffalo ranch sandwich. I had a horrible experience at this location today! I ordered my food at 2:29 pm and sat down. It was very crowded so when 15, then 20, then 25 minutes went by, I stayed patient and waited because I could see there were only 4 people working and quite a few people had ordered. When 30 minutes went by I went up and asked the food runner when my food would be ready, and she said she saw my ticket number and it should be next. After 10 more minutes, I decided I'd had enough (I'd seen several people who'd ordered after me get their food, and I literally just ordered 3 tenders and macaroni!) and went to the counter to ask for a refund. No one was there, and when someone finally showed up I asked for a refund and she tried handing me a cup. I told her again that I wanted a refund and the runner came up and said they couldn't do it because only the manager knew how. When I asked her to bring the manager so I could get my refund, she said he was too busy. I told her I understood they were short-staffed and I saw how hard they were working, but I'd waited 50 minutes by that point and my lunch was already ruined - I just wanted a refund and to go home. She simply wouldn't do it and said "He's too busy right now." I had to ask two more times for the manager to come out and give me a refund, and when he finally did he wasn't very apologetic and didn't seem to feel bad at all when I told him I'd waited (what was now) an HOUR to get my food - he just said okay, opened the cash register, and handed me $15. The cashiers couldn't do that?! That was a huge waste of an hour and the staff was so incredibly rude and dismissive, making me stand at the counter for 20 minutes like an idiot because none of them wanted to come out and man it. I was so excited to try out this restaurant, since i truly love the burgers at the Carnival cruise line from Guy Fieri. Located in the second floor at Dadeland Mall it is convenient for parking and a stroll at the mall after. After years of anticipation and waiting...it's finally here! The pandemic might have put a pause on Chicken Guy's opening, but it was definitely worth the wait. My excitement to finally try the famous Guy Fieri chicken tenders was matched by the enthusiasm of the employees. Exceptional customer service from beginning to end. Though they only focus on chicken tenders, it's done absolutely right and there's enough variety in the menu to not get bored. I opted for the bbq chicken salad which was packed full of chicken and reasonably priced. The breading on their chicken is another world. It puts places like raising canes and chick-fil-a to shame. And let's not forget about their bounty of sauces, which is what makes this establishment a step up from similar vendors. The atmosphere is fun and bright, and, if you're lucky to get the table in the far back you get a great view of the Downtown Dadeland skyline. Can't wait to go back and explore the menu, and sauces. I came here on a Saturday afternoon around 3 pm. It was reasonably busy. We ordered a 3 tender combo with fries, and then 3 tenders on their own and fried pickle chips. Cameron at the front was absolutely fabulous our whole time there and made recommendations prior to us ordering. She appeared to genuinely enjoy her job and when I mention that to her, she exclaimed, "I do!" Our cashier was a little hard to communicate with while ordering since it seemed like she barely spoke English, but that didn't become a real problem until we returned later. She also forgot to give me a cup for my combo which I had to ask Cameron for. Our food didn't take long to come out. Everything was hot and fresh. The breading in the chicken was thin but good. Some people probably prefer a thicker, crunchier breading but I was fine with this. The seasoning on the tenders was good but I kind of prefer to let the sauces shine. The actual meat was moist and tender. We enjoyed the fries and pickle chips. The fry seasoning was on point! We also got the following sauces: Donkey Sauce, Nashville Hot Honey, Special Sauce, Buttermilk Ranch, Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ, and Peri Peri. I think my favorites were the Peri Peri and the Buttermilk Ranch. The BBQ sauce was slightly better than the stuff you get at the grocery store but nothing to write home about. We enjoyed the hot honey as well, which was Cameron's recommendation. I forgot to mention - instead of 3 tenders they gave us each 4, and they gave us both fries. Not mad about that! I asked one of the food runners for a to-go box and I think she forgot because I had to ask her again. Cameron kindly cleaned up our trash. I wanted an Apple Cinnamon Cereal Milkshake but the line was long, but I agreed to return later. In the middle of our shopping trip, my bag broke. No huge deal. We returned for my milkshake, and I was able to order fine, but getting a new bag was a different story. Myself and the cashier couldn't communicate with each other due to the language barrier. She ended up putting my food in the back in the broken bag (I watched her do it) and thought maybe she put it back there so someone could put it in a new bag. That didn't seem to be the case. I explained it to what appeared to be the manager (she was wearing a black chef's coat) and she went and grabbed my food from the back and gave me a new bag. A few minutes later I got my milkshake. The milkshake was a big let down. Reading the description of the milkshake again, I got exactly what it says I would get. I really expected more apple cinnamon flavor throughout the milkshake, but instead I got a vanilla milkshake with some Apple Jack's on top (which is what the description says I would get). Don't get this if you're really looking for any apple cinnamon flavor. It was a good vanilla milkshake, at least. Later on in the day when taking our leftovers out of the fridge, our new bag broke. I don't know if I was rough with these bags today or had really bad luck, but jeez! Chicken Guy was a good experience, with the exception of the communication and bag issues. Had high hopes but it wasn't what I hoped for. Ordered the 4 tender combo. The tenders weren't all that, tasted basic and the breading wasn't seasoned or at the level I imagined that Guy would put his name on. The service didn't make things better. Asked one of the staff for Mayo since I wasn't a fan of the sauces and he continued to clean the entire dining room before bothering to get me the mayonnaise. Cold fries and Mayo --yum!
