Great staff, not too busy to talk to visitors and very proud of their food. Really proud of what they do and it showed in the meals. I appreciate that they are not trying to recreate a mainland dish but add Hawaiian flavor to an American staple. The chcken is moist and the sauce has the spicy/sweetness you expect in Hawaii. Chili was the weak point of the meal, watery and lacked depth of flavor. macaroni salad is a Hawaiian staple and so much better here than in the south. They have a self service area where you can get ketchup, extra bbq sauce and utensils. This area didn't have forks or any bbq sauce. What kind of bbq restaurant doesn't have bbq? Between the food and the environment in which you'll either be swatting flies or fending off pigeons, this didn't make for the best experience.
