This is a good market and fast food grab location. The prices are some of the best in the area. We really wanted Poi and other lunch food to go but it was late. This location is located on a main street that can be very busy. Since it was late, they were closing up and packing away from the 'deli' area so we could not do any food orders. We were able to get our Poi and other food items with no issue. It is a smaller and narrow location that is deep from the front counter to the back. Best of low cost local food and to go. read more

Did you need coffee, dessert, or something quick to eat? Did you need certain toiletries or amenities? Or are you just looking for Hawaiian souvenirs? Well, this market has just about everything you're looking for. I've gone to other Island Country Market (ICM) locations in Oahu, so I'm pretty familiar with their convenient store business. They're also an affiliate of the ABC Store Brand all over Hawaii. And if you ask me, I dig this particular store location. This ICM is in a little shopping plaza so there's plenty of public parking. Not to mention, the number of resorts around the area making it super convenient to walk to if you need things. I'd say it's pretty average in size, as I've been to other larger and smaller ICMs and ABC stores. And they all look fairly alike in setup and what they offer as well. The staff working here, have all been pretty nice and helpful. This store in general was also well maintained if I may add! Foodwise, they have a deli that serves everything from flatbread pizzas, to hot sandwiches/burgers, breakfast plates, poké bowls that I felt were a bit overpriced. Fresh malasadas and masubis. And other snacks and canned drinks. At the coffee bar they also sell ice cream and gelato. Milk tea drinks as well as fruity smoothies! Amenities-wise, they sell local beers, wine, and alcohol. Medicines, detergent, sun tan lotions, beach towels, bikinis, tank tops, board shorts, and sandals. I mean, you name it, I'm sure they've got it. In my opinion, their prices run pretty high, but they really do have everthing you may need. The service was great. Everyone in there is super friendly and helpful. The store is super clean and organized as well. The prices are high but what can you expect? The food was good but not great. I love ABC Stores, and this one is certainly no exception with its expanded offerings. Is everything here the very best quality you will get anywhere? No, of course not, but most things are a decent deal and of decent quality, and the convenience is unmatched. Some of the food is downright delicious. I had a Kalua pork loco moco that did not always get good reviews by others but that I loved. The mahi-mahi sandwich was huge and tasty. We've eaten the Asian salad multiple times, and I don't even like Asian salads! They have awesome deals on salads, wraps, and pineapple. In my experience, the coffee is acceptable but not great, and it would be nice if the baristas actually knew a little more about the coffee itself. They have great deals on aloha shirts, but I recommend buying the ones that are just a little more expensive that are made in Hawaii instead of China. They just seem to fit better. There is no end to the number of souvenirs you can buy, and they have a lot of other items. If you spend $100 and keep your receipts, you can get a free gift, which is usually a calendar, a tote bag, or a mug. We always get the mugs, as they are decent quality and have pretty cool Hawaiian patterns on them. Nearly all of the employees are quite friendly and offer an aloha spirit. If there weren't so many other great places to eat, drink, and shop in town, I could easily spend nearly all my time doing everything here, especially given how convenient they were to the Aston Islander on the Beach, where we were staying. I love this spot on the island. It's located in a great shopping center and parking can be tricky on farmers market days. The store has some of my favorite grinds (food) on the island. I stopped by the Papalani Gelato, but since I'm not a huge gelato person, I ended up choosing one of the many delicious looking pastries from "Soleil d'Hawaii Bakery", SO many of them looked good, had such a hard timing choosing which one to get. Since I love Ube, I got the Sweet Potato Haupia slice. It was DELICIOUS! The Ube and cake were perfectly sweetened, tasted very authentic South East Asian. Would definitely get it again hehe (and I'm not a huge sweet tooth). The workers here were really nice, they let me try 3 different gelato flavors (all which were super yummy also). I also had a Vietnamese coffee, which I thought would be sweet and milky, but it was neither. Hard pass. Had a smash burger with onion rings- burger had grilled onions and sauce was yummy! Onion rings weren't super crispy but overall a decent burger. Also got the prime rib daily special- for $20 very yummy! The sides were ok- I got mashed potatoes and Mac salad and both were good. It def has it all and is a perfect place to grab and go for your day trips and evenings in your hotel. I wouldn't necessarily recommend the food here - there is other walkable places very close by that has better food- but a perfect stop for a Hawaiian sun, coke, and a sweet treat or anything else you need.
