It's been a number of years since I've had CM. The spicy lemon garlic chicken was decent but not as flavorful as I remember. The sides were good, but you only get 2. My usual Mediterranean spot gives 3 sides. The service was good and fast. Nice space to dine in. Parking can get tight, but wasn't a big deal. Definitely worth a try. read more

Consistently excellent chicken with steamed veggies and rice. I always get the spicy chicken for me and the hubs and the regular for our kids. Two 1/2 chicken orders with sides is enough to feed 2 adults and a child with usually a small lunch leftover. I had been wanting to try this restaurant for sometime after it relocated across from the college. So I took my wife on March 20th around four pm and stood in a long line to order. We ordered two chicken sandwiches to go and sat after the cashier gave us our receipt. There were open tables scattered with some patrons eating and some waiting for their orders. The steady stream of take outs seemed encouraging for our food to arrive timely. After waiting 45 minutes for our food, I asked the young lady who placed our order if she could check on our order. She came back and said "I don't see it." Ten minutes later, I went to the counter and asked what was delaying our order, There was a view of my receipt and non-english conversation by the manager, my server, and a cook. The manager then said to me "they lost your order so I told them to make it now. Your order was given to someone else." I calmly told the manager "thats ok i want my money back please." She gave me the receipt with the return and we left as I said "so much for my first time coming here." At no time did we get an apology for there mistake. Chiken Maison: Order ID: AABN9MUEACN Arriving home, my wife examined the receipt and noticed the credit card refund was short $2.24! The manager did not refund the 10% tip of $2.24! Now I understand why she had a smirk look when she handed me my refund document. As seniors on a fixed income, our choices of where we eat out are important to us. Chicken Maison is on the "no way list" for us and our friends. My wife had voted to go to a drive-up fast food local place and my son who had previously eaten at Chicken Maison said it was "OK" for Mediterranean. This is my first time eating at Chicken Maison and I think it's going to be my go to Mediterranean place from now on. Brandy took our order and was super helpful. She made some suggestions when we asked what we should get and made sure we were well taken care of. I got the half chicken Spicy Garlic Chicken with brown rice and spicy hummus. As soon as it was set on the table I was DROOLING. The chicken was super flavorful and tender. They also brought out some pitas for the humus, garlic sauce and the chicken. Chicken Maison is no longer Chicken Maisoning! The food isn't the same and it's no longer a true Greek and Mediterranean eatery! I got home with my food excited and happy to find out the Garlic sauce was half full, tasted horrible and the rotisserie chicken was no bueno, and the rice was not cooked properly as it tasted like they did not cook it thoroughly and my fav the salad the dressing was just olive oil!! I do not like to do reviews like this because eateries are trying to stay afloat. What I will give this place is how caring their staff was. They were personable and gave good customer service. All of the staff went out of their way for people. I watched as we waited for our food.I would give them an A for effort. The food is just not that great. I come from an area where Middle Eastern food is plentiful and fantastic so it may be unfair for me to compare Chicken Maison to that. The food is just subpar at best.
