Staff was welcoming upon arrival. It was my first time dining in (my sister usually orders take out). The gentleman, Washington was patient with us as we changed our order a few times :[ The place was clean and even though it was a packed when we arrived (1 pm) we were able to sit and enjoy our meal. I do not like to do reviews like this because eateries are trying to stay afloat. What I will give this place is how caring their staff was. They were personable and gave good customer service. All of the staff went out of their way for people. I watched as we waited for our food.I would give them an A for effort. The food is just not that great. I come from an area where Middle Eastern food is plentiful and fantastic so it may be unfair for me to compare Chicken Maison to that. The food is just subpar at best. Where do I begin? Well, for me everything taste great. Every menu item is made with the best ingredients and lots of love. the main reason I want to write about chicken Madison is their customer service. My friend William who is handicapped due to a massive stroke seven years ago, was my guess on this day. We ordered the baby kale chicken salad and this is a massive salad, so we decided to split it. And just the attentiveness and courtesy of the staff was great. We got the salad divided into two and we got lost of pita bread and garlic sauce. Again we enjoyed the service and they knew my friend was handicapped so they went the extra mile to assist us and got our food super fast. It was a great experience and were there late in the afternoon so the place was not too busy. This is a great family restaurant with great food and great customer service. Yes first time ever having chicken Maison and there was no disappointment. We ordered online on Monday 9/11/2023 and got 7 dinners. I got a 1/2 lemon basil chicken with sides of spicey hummus and maison rice. The pick up was smooth and the staff where so friendly and helpful, everyone had a smile. Ok so got home and opened the meal and the serving sizes where so on point. First thing I did was try the chicken, it was moist with a burst of such good flavors. I will not visit this location again. I used to enjoy their chicken kabob and had ordered it a few times in the past. The food was good back then, and I never had any issues. Today, I was craving chicken kabob again, so I placed an order over the phone. The woman who took my order was very rude. When she asked if I needed utensils, I couldn't hear her clearly due to background noise, so I politely asked her to repeat herself. She suddenly raised her voice and said, "If you don't know the word utensil, it means forks, spoons..." I had to stop her and explain that I simply couldn't hear her because of the noise. She never apologized for her attitude. When I picked up my order, I noticed that one of the chicken kabobs didn't come with a vegetable kabob, and the other one had vegetables that were burnt and very small. The quality of service and food has clearly declined. I won't be ordering from this location again. read more

My co-workers and I decided to have lunch today at Chicken Maison in Gardena. Many of them have never been to any of the locations since they do not live near by. I let them know they have been missing out. There was 8 of us and the Manager, and one of the sweet staff members, Tiani, were absolutely wonderful. They were able to get us seated together and the food and service was on point. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Fresh and delicious and count on some "leftovers!" Located inside a strip mall among other establishments, Chicken Maison at first glance probably wouldn't be the most alluring of places to dine. Had it not been for a local patron who favorited this place so much so that in every occasion (she would have her husband make a detour to pick up their delicious food), I would have not had the opportunity to try there dishes. And I would have definitely missed out! The interior is a cafeteria style with their menus posted as soon as you enter the establishment. There are plenty of patrons they're enjoying the food and picking up food. We sat at an area we preferred before ordering the food. We ordered three dishes, one was a beef kabob combo with two sides and a chicken kabob with two sides plus a Falafel combo also with two sides. I tried the beef and it was well flame-broiled, had a nice gentle Mediterranean flavoring and the meat was not too overcooked. The Falafel was light and crisp but "meaty". One of the best things I've ever tasted was their version of the spicy coleslaw, which was not necessarily at all spicy, as much as it was tangy and savory - ABSOLUTELY delicious! The food portion was hearty and appropriate for the price to portion ratio, we definitely had sufficient amount in the meal to be completely satisfied at the end. We also try the the unsweetened mint iced tea, which was my least favorite part. The mint iced tea tasted very weak, the mint aspect was more of a hint, along with the tea taste, which was just as weak. It tasted more like a water flavored with mint and tea. Overall the service was nice and clean. Enjoy the combination of the food enough for me to want to revisit again in the near future. read more

I've been coming to this location for over 10 years, it used to be a go to spot. It's getting too busy. The servers aren'tas nice as the previous ones. I guess they all moved on. I took my food home making the mistake of not checking it before I left. The vegetable kabob was missing as well as the extra garlic sauce I paid for. My chicken was cold, the wooden skewer was broken and there was way too much salad. I think I need to drive to another location and hope for better service. read more

If you want respect from you employees you should give them respect. If you need to correct an employee that he is doing something wrong.
