Chicken N Pickle is such a fun place for all ages! We recently hosted my daughter's birthday party here, and it couldn't have been easier or more affordable. We rented an indoor court for an hour and a half, and the kids had an absolute blast rotating in and out while playing pickleball. We came early on a hot summer day, and it was the perfect way to keep everyone active while staying cool. I definitely recommend reserving an indoor court, especially for younger kids--they're constantly chasing the ball, so having the enclosed, air-conditioned space made a huge difference. First timers here and we won't come back! Arrived and fought for parking as it is real limited. We reserved a court for two hours for our Teenage twins and some adult friends to celebrate the Twins Birthday. The facility is Large, well outfitted , fairly clean but sports a curious lack of shade or awnings or umbrellas outside. We found Check in and it was fine and they dropped us off on our court . We were supposed to get the shaded table in front of our court but no one told us it was ours and a rather aggressive family was occupying our shady set up. Service is nonexistent, they are nice but thin in ranks and disorganized and overwhelmed. We finally figured it out and got someone to move the aggressive family. They had words for us. I explained we were first timers and didn't know and even offered to share the shade best we could, but they were mad. Not our fault to be put in this difficult situation. After 20 minutes someone came by for our order we put in for appetizers , drinks and food. We were told we would need to order part of it from other staff because they only served drinks, and appetizers. Let me wrap this up by saying the drinks finally came after 30 minutes and we were never offered more until an hour later. We grabbed a waitress as asked about our food. She said," oh we are two hours behind." What? The food finally came at the 1 hour 45 minute mark with the (cold) appetizers following in a few minutes later. Parched we ran and got our own water but the jug went empty and they were also out of cups. Time was running out now. We ate our cold appetizers and tried to find someone to close the bill out. Guess what ? We waited and They never came! We turned our equipment in and now turn our backs on this big fancy corporate mess! I'm not going to add our pictures as I don't want any innocent family with kids to try this place. It needs a whole management redo, If we want to play pickle ball we will seek something else. read more

A group of us rented a court for two hours on a Saturday night. The checkin was easy and our experience with the staff (on the courts side) was pretty good. We migrated over to the restaurant after for dinner. That's where it started to fall apart. They did seat us immediately at a large table (8 of us) but the service was mediocre. We had drinks forgotten by the staff and then they took our order in three increments. No idea why. Heres where it got very mediocre. Four of us got our food within 5-7 minutes of ordering. In a large restaurant when that happens it tells me it's pre cooked and they slap it on the plate. We could tell. My tater tots were only warm. Granted they were still good. My burger was the same and the patty was not hot but just slightly warm and the cheese had clearly been sitting on it a little while when it came. My wife's hot chicken had NO spicy sauce on it, in it or around it and was lukewarm (like sitting under a heat lamp). She had do ask for hot sauce and got to go hot sauce packets instead of a bottle of hot sauce. One couple didn't get their food for 10 minutes. Then the last couple asked about their food 10 minutes later and the server said she forgot. So she took it and showed up 5 minutes later with mediocre looking nachos for one. Her husband asked about his quesadillas (yes the easiest thing to cook) 25 minutes later and once again they forgot to put the order in. I have enjoyed many times at chicken and pickle! I think my favorite is the live music they have and the big open space. I have been there for pickleball, birthday parties, happy hour and even our volleyball banquet. Everything has went smooth. Service has always been kind and helpful. We chose Chicken N Pickle for its casual space when we had about 12 of us, a mix of kids and adults. Our guests are not from the area, and this was easy to get to from the soccer park. We ended up outside since it was a nice afternoon. The kids and some of the adults went off in search of a pickle ball court and really enjoyed it. We pooled our orders, and a representative went in to place the order. I feel like other times we have been here and eaten outside we had better service, food and drinks came out sporadically and we had to return inside for more drinks. Everyone enjoyed their food, it was hot and fresh. The truffle fries were a hit, but the fried pickles were a miss. Chicken and waffles were also a favorite. Great spot for a group like ours. My partner and I had been wanting to check this place out, so we decided to stop by after work on day and see what the buzz is all about. This is such a fun hangout spot, even if you're not into pickleball! We visited at about 5 PM on a weekday. There's lots of parking in the back lot, but it was a bit tricky trying to find an open spot. There was a pet adoption event going on when we visited, so I loved meeting some sweet doggies! I love all the indoor and outdoor seating options. We ended up grabbing a bite to eat while we were there, so I had a veggie wrap with a side of sweet potato fries. My partner had a fried chicken sandwich with fries. We both had a margarita. Everything was pretty good! I wouldn't say the food is anything super memorable, but I can't say I have any complaints. It's Easter, so the place was very crowded! I came with my family and ordered the Caesar chicken wrap with fries. My honest opinion about the wrap is that, although I got it fried, it was just okay--6.5/10. It was loaded with ingredients, but it didn't really have any Caesar dressing in it, so I ordered a side of ranch dressing, which helped a little. Booking a court was easy; there was only an hour wait, which isn't bad if you get food beforehand. The atmosphere was very festive and themed for Easter, with face painting, an Easter bunny walking around, Easter-themed food and a buffet, and plenty of decorations. It's an igloo!!!! Galentine Gals dinner/game/drink night! What a time we had . Absolutely loved our intimate ladies fun night! Parking was close and near building yay! Not a busy night so staff were very attentive. We had our own personal host Luis who was absolutely great. He constantly checked on us and made sure everything we needed and wanted was delivered. He kept our area clean and clear of dishes so tables were free to enjoy the games we had brought to play. Igloo decorated in bright colorful colors. Enough seating for eight so more than enough room for our party of four. Food we ordered was the chipotle chicken bowl which had great seasoning and and came fresh to order, fried pickles and chicken tenders, chicken Caesar wraps and tots, broccolini, and a triple cookie hot skillet. Everything was cooked fresh and seasoned well. Service was speedy and all staff delivering food was professional and friendly. Drinks ordered were the Guava Paloma, and knotty cherry. Both drinks were good but different in taste . Guava was more tart due to grapefruit but it was not bad, knotty was stronger and fruitier. I liked them both actually, My only complaint was the heater in the igloo was non existent. We thought it just needed to get heated but it was turned all the way up and no heat was blowing out. So instead of it being toasty it was really cold and Luis did not understand why it wasn't heating as well. A blanket was available but we opted not to use it , I wish I would have brought my own. This review could have easily gotten an 5 but due to coldness my family were freezing the ENTIRE time. This attraction is 2hrs and for us to be cold the entire time, those heaters definitely need to blow out heat considering the coldness of the weather. Tonight was 29 degrees and we felt every bit of coldness. Overall it was a great experience 9/10!! Kudos to management for making this experience possible. read more

My friend's school was doing a fundraiser night here on a Tuesday. They had an area in the indoor courts for everyone to hang out. There was a large crowd and the waitress came by very often to check in. She did make you give a card when placing an order which makes sense for the big group I am currently pregnant so I couldn't get any cocktails but they had a few mocktails on the menu. I got the pocket pear. It was so good and wasn't super sugary or sweet. To eat I got the quesadilla. It was so good and had a lot of flavor. Surprisingly enough, I have been to Chicken N Pickle several times and have yet to play pickleball! We tried back in February but were told on the drive there that our court was cleared and there were no indoor options available. We still ate brunch which was really good and played bingo with our kids. I have been in the party room a couple times now for Yelp and St. Louis Mom events. It's a nice space with windows overlooking one of the outdoor courts. Their catering options are tasty I like the Buffalo dip and of course the chicken! Chicken N Pickle does not disappoint! While I don't get to come often, I always look forward to my time spent there. Going back there after committing to being vegetarian, I thought it would be hard to find something to eat at a place with chicken in the name but I was wrong. There were plenty of options such as the cheese pizza and cheese quesadillas. My family said that their chicken was great and they enjoyed the many options to pick for sides and entrees. The service was impeccable. It was a very busy day for them so understandably things were not moving as fast as usual. However, slow at chicken n pickle proved to be equivalent to the average wait time at any other restaurant. After sitting for only five minutes, a manager came up and apologized for the wait. Totally unnecessary but very much appreciated and thoughtful. Our food came out much faster than I expected and everything was amazing! I was then able to explore the outdoor area to find ice cream and many fun and entertaining outdoor games. I would highly recommend this place for families. I wish this place was closer to me because I'm obsessed! It's so much fun. I've never played pickle ball before, but this was a great place to play for the first time. The staff were all super helpful and so nice. They have indoor and outdoor Pickleball courts. They also have a private space that you can rent as well that has its very own private Pickleball court. They had covered and uncovered courts as well. So you could technically play in all weather conditions. They also had bags, a giant battleship game, and other outdoor yard games to play. Overall, it was a great space. The only complaint I have is about parking. There is a very tiny lot (compared to the size of the facility). Of course the lot was full, and there were tons of people circling around like flies, trying to find a spot. However, there is a parking garage across the street. Wow! I love this place! I don't even play pickle ball and there is still so much to do! There is a center courtyard that has lots of seating with giant Battleship, Jenga, Connect 4, corn hole and bocce ball. There are both indoor and outdoor pickleball courts that you can reserve. If you prefer to just chill, there is seating inside, outside, high tops, low tables, and everything in between. Service is very good and they keep the place quite clean. Try to carpool because parking is limited and it can be a little tricky. If the lots are full, park up in the parking garage at streets of Saint Charles. read more

They have goat cheese in them! My group just hung out and played smaller games for a little. What a great idea that could be better. To me the food was mediocre and the price of pickleball left a bad taste in my mouth. $40 an hour? Ouch! No wonder the courts were empty when we visited. Sporty/fun ambiance with lots of free ways to stretch our legs (ping pong, connect four, fusbol) and paid ways too (pickle ball, ice skating). Food was good, not great. I did the "chicken" and not the pickle! Lol actually we didn't even get chicken anything but you get it. They have an amazing happy hour but heads up, it's 4 to 6 and you have to order at the bar. I didn't love that we walked in and there wasn't a lot of direction, so maybe I can help someone out. I asked 2 young ladies where the hostess stand was and they said we can sit anywhere. They didn't think to mention, "oh but you order over here then sit down" so we get to order and they tell us happy hour is only at a "bar top" so. We got bounced around a little. I put that in quotes because I'm not sure if you do have to SIT at the bar or just order at the bar, I do not want to steer you wrong. All of that being said, we got 4 shareables at half price and discounted drinks. Ribs, queso, tostadas and deviled eggs. I really liked the sauce on the ribs, it was a bit spicy, too much for my dad. He loved his deviled eggs but picked out the Jalapeños. I'm pretty sure we licked the queso bowl clean and the tostadas, we got 3 carnitas, I did enjoy that we could have gotten 1 of each meat of we wanted. The pork carnitas had a great texture, not dry at all. On top of that STL loves a good patio right? If you don't want to play pickle ball, there are several other yard games out and twinkle lights for a mood. There is no info about if this is per person or for the court. Their pay system is different. You have to go to the bar or the restaurant first, start a tab. Whenever you want to order a drink/food just tell any waiter. They will find your name and update your order and they will give you a giant number statue and you are all set! Then they will come find you and bring your order. I ordered Double Smash Burger and fries. My friends got Ribs, Rotisserie Chicken, Hot Chicken and Chicken Sandwich with sweet potato fries. They were all delicious. Beer menu has no price info. My order costs $36 (Double Smash Burger ($13.99) + 3 Yuengling beers) Place is huge. It is family/kids friendly. There is also upstairs with a bar and balcony. There is a lot of room for everyone. It was rainy today, so we didn't get a chance to enjoy the outdoors. We will definitely come back and check out though. I think their giant roof causes internet connection issues. Once we got here, our phones went to the SOS mode. There is giant Jengas, Battleship game, giant connect 4, and foosball. Foosball is not the best, it needs to be adjusted. Their outdoor parking lot is small.
