The ambiance is very nice with music and authentic decorations as well. The bad is that the service was ok nothing bad or good, just ok. There is no water and they definitely charge for it ($4), it is the first time that I experience this. I also did not like that even thought it was only two of us, they automatically place a 15% tip on the receipt and several taxes. If this is something that you don't like, you might be able to say something, but if you don't like bringing this up, I would avoid the place all together. The food is great though.

The brand definitely shines for this establishment from the exterior to the interior. The Peruvian aesthetics synchronizing Spanish and indigenous culture provides a prominent placement in this plaza. Even when it becomes seasonally-aware, the establishment manages to celebrate Christmas in their own way. Ambiance: 4/5 You are greeted with a large dining area with Peruvian music settling you in. Nothing felt out of place, since you feel at home. The dimmed lights can bring about a cozy vibe, though for this instance, I did think that it would have benefited from more lighting. The seats felt comfortable. Service: 5/5 The staff made sure that we enjoyed our experience and asked us if we needed anything. Wait Time: 5/5 I wrote an entire page in my notebook with medium amounts of lines before my order arrived. Considering the size of the dish, I will say that the wait time matched the preparation. As such, no unnecessary issues or delays happened. Food: 4/5 I ordered the fried rice with chicken, with water including a free refill. While the brown rice did have a hard chew, they definitely bring about the hearty dish, while the well-cooked chicken emphasized the taste. The peas and green onions complement the taste well. I did think that the dish could have had more chicken and less rice. As for the form, the dish contained so much abundance, I had to eat it for lunch, and save it for dinner. Worth The Money?: 3/5 The menu items definitely reflect Peruvian cuisine, and as such I can see how they can be delights, though I have yet to find any substantial amounts of desserts. Needless to say, every part of the aesthetic works with the food, down to the flower placed upon my dish. They do match the music and make you feel immersed. The staff ensure that the food is prepared for, and the wait time was definitely appropriate for the time it took to make it. For a brand with vivacious colors, the dimmed lights really do a disservice to not show them in their glory. The staff ensure that the ambiance has festive yet calm substance. As such, the wait time did not feel cumbersome. I would greatly recommend the establishment to create their own website, since there are numerous Peruvian restaurants across America with "Macchu Picchu" in their names. It would especially help the establishment if the aesthetics that make the interior shine would extend to the website itself. Concerning color scheme, they should absolutely reflect the warm, cozy color scheme of the ambiance, while also incorporating the fading color as mystique as Macchu Picchu itself. I would consider Macchu Picchu Delights my second choice, just to support my local businesses and introduce myself more to Peruvian culture and cuisine. Would I say that the fried rice with chicken was worth more than $20? Perhaps if I wanted to fill myself up for the day, however if I am simply looking for a quick meal, then I probably would look elsewhere. As such, another suggestion would be to offer smaller versions of the dishes for a cheaper price, particularly if they wish to attract customers completely unfamiliar to Peruvian cuisine. Rating: 4/5 Stars For a business just starting, I will say that Macchu Picchu Delights manages to do most things right. While the relevance of the restaurant must become more pronounced, I can say that it is off to a good start. Recommend To... Anyone interested in Peruvian culture and cuisine.

The menu is a fantastic blend of authentic Peruvian flavors with distinct Japanese and Chinese influences that make this cuisine so unique. The atmosphere is modest, warm, and incredibly welcoming, and our server was absolutely terrific. I had the Bistec a la Pobre ($22) -- a perfectly-marinated hanger steak served over generous portions of french fries, white rice topped with a freshly fried egg, and a side of grilled sweet plantains. YUM! The flavors were absolutely spot on. My dining companion loved her Pollo Saltado ($19) -- a generous portion of tender, boneless marinated chicken sauteed with onion, peppers, and tomato served over french fries with a side of white rice. We will definitely be back! PRO TIP #1: Bring a bottle of wine or beer from home to enjoy with your meal. Peru Chikann is a BYOB establishment and does not serve alcohol. PRO TIP #2: Bring cash. Peru Chikann has added a surcharge for using credit cards to pay for your meal.
