I visited Ceviche House with a group of Yelpers after a Yelp Event in the area nearby. It was a group of six of us. The restaurant is somewhat on the small side and they were very accommodating to us. Everyone ordered a variety of dishes. I ended up getting the chaufa rice with chicken. Everything was tasty, and I had a great time there. Despite our group, they allowed us to pay separately. I would definitely return.

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. But it's an hour from my house. It was worth the drive. My mom and husband are Peruvian, so I know what Peruvian food tastes like. This place did not disappoint. Visually the plates were artistically presented. All the food was delicious. The ceviche tasted fresh and with the right amount of acidic flavor. The seco norteño, was perfection. Just like they make it in Peru. My husband really enjoyed his Parilla Del Mar. We were a pretty large party for the small space but all the waiters were attentive. Sebastian actually warned me about the Ceviche Chalaco - he offered to change the sauce because the original rocotto one would be too spicy for me. I don't like my food too spicy. I will be back with my family so they can have an authentic Peruvian meal.

If you want an experience when dining stop by ceviche....a member of my party suggested we make the trip here and it did NOT disappoint. Nicely spaced tables and simply decorated with a very relaxed vibe. The staff was outstanding, described different dishes upon our inquiry and made some suggestions. We never had to ask for anything after giving our order...this restaurant is run like a well tuned car. Now to the best part.....the food. Every single dish was not only a visual work of art but each dish had your utter mmmmmm after each bite. I can't say enough great things about this Peruvian spot.

After a recent Yelp event in Red Bank @ The Wine Cellar Outlet. I decided to find a nice outdoor restaurant to have dinner. Ceviche House caught my interest. I asked to review their menu. It had great list of different selection. The Mgr recommended the Ceviche Power. It is Mahi Mahi lime based ceviche marinate, ají amarillo sauce, grilled shrimp skewers, fresh crispy calamari in a large margarita glasses served with thin fried plantains, roasted shelled corn. On the side, it had a small soufflé cup lit up with fire. GREAT PRESENTATION !! They nailed it. I felt like I was in Peru. The flavor was outrageous.i was impressed with the service. I was alone and he was coming over and taking the time to talk with me. That's pretty rare lately. CANT WAIT TO BRING MY FAMILY HERE!!

Blown away by how good my dish was. Tried a passionfruit juice (fresh!) and the Seco Norteo which was tender, filling and delicious. Every dish had spectacular presentation as well. Back soon to try the ceviche.

Got the chance to dine in again at Ceviche House Peru after a successful Yelp Event near the area. The last time I was here was during a Yelp Event hosted by Ceviche House Peru sometime in July 2024. This time, it was a fun dinner with some of my Yelp Elite friends. The food was great, I had this time Chaufa Mixto, it's a mixed Peruvian style fried rice mixed with beef and chicken. My friend DDM shared with me his order of Anticucho, it's a grilled beef heart seasoned with Peruvian seasonings with potatoes and corn. The service and ambience are amazing. This place is highly recommended and will definitely dine in again once got the chance to be at Red Bank soon. Also, it's BYOB, so grab a bottle and try this place for a great Peruvian food experience.

I absolutely love Ceviche House!! I loved it so much at a Yelp event that I couldn't wait to come back with my loved ones. If you like seafood, you need to try the Seafood Rice it was sick. I also loved the fried rice and .. of course the ceviche!

My wife found this restaurant on Yelp. Took a look at the Yelp photos and the food looked good. Saw some mixed reviews but decided to give this place a shot. Fortunately for me, this place doesn't just serve ceviche, since my parents only really eat cooked seafood. We ordered two arroz con mariscos, a conchitas a la parmesana and a lomo saltado. The scallops were a bit small and salty, but the other two dishes were superb. I wish there was more beef in the lomo saltado and less onions and bell peppers, but good nonetheless. Our waitress was really patient and friendly. The server who brought out our food was also nice. Some of the dishes took a little longer to come out, but the wait was worthwhile since everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The space is cozy and located in the heart of Red Bank. I would definitely come back.

Ceviche house, Peru in Red Bank New Jersey is a Family owned business, that' as of today, is 6 months old. They're typically open daily from 12 o'clock to 8 ~ 10 p.m. depending on the day of the week. so you may want to call ahead. When we arrived at just before 6 PM, there were no other customers and we're seated immediately, but within 10 minutes, the restaurant was packed with new and returning diners, which was great to see a thriving restaurant. Service was welcoming and friendly. Our server was great as he explained all the menu items we had questions on and gave us some great recommendations. I started out with a flavorful drink that is a must have, Chicha Morada ($5) , which is a mixture of Corn, pineapple, star anise, cinnamon, sugar and lemon. My wife and I shared a Ceviche Chalaco ($25), a ceviche in a Roto cream sauce. That's topped with battered fried calamari and loads of tangy lemony mahi-mahi ceviche. And, lastly, for my entrée, I had the Churrasco con Chimicurri ( $30) , a tender and tasty skirt steak with a chimichurri sauce that had a side of white rice, french fries, and a salad. BYOB free to bring your own wine or liquor. The restaurant seats approximately 30+5 to 6 bar seats. There's plenty of parking in Red Bank most notably about a block away there's a huge public parking lot with paid kiosk. Approximately $1 per hour. One notable item that I found on my receipt, The prices were different than the list of prices on the menu,. It's actually the state tax of 6.625% and Not a credit card fee. it was a little confusing at first, but I was able to solve the issue. Overall, I had a wonderful time. The food was delicious. The service was great and I look forward to returning again to Red Bank for ceviche. Highly recommended.

Ambiance cozy and neutral inside. Service amazing we were a big group and were able to pay individually. This was very accommodating and they didn't have to do this. Food amazing and full of flavor. I ordered the Chaufa mixed chicken and beef and appetizer with tostones and pork belly. Everyone with me loved their food. Also the liver on skewers tasted like regular beef and very flavorful. It is located in downtown Red Bank and a must visit.

We really enjoyed our food here! We sat outside and brought our pup & they brought out a bowl of water for her and were so sweet. The ceviche was INCREDIBLE -- needless to say. The peruvian rice dishes were also so good and so hearty, but not too salty -- which made it perfect! Can't say much about the ambiance as we were outside, but will for sure be back to try other dishes.

A piece of Anticuchos. First time having beef heart. DELICIOUS!
    Chastity R.

Came in late and they still accommodated our party of 6. Service is always impeccable as is the food. We dined on the Chaufa Mix, Chaufa Marisco, Tostones Acevichanos, Ceviche Clàsico, Pure con Asado, & Anticucho. Half of our party dined there before during a Yelp Event so we came back for more! The food is delicious and it was my first time having beef heart. It was FABULOUS! I was a little hesitant about trying it but it's so worth it! Such a great find in Red Bank!

Steak was bland... lacking in flavor and again the food was not hot.

First and last time coming here. My family and I went here for the first time, we were the second guest who entered after opening. The place was not crowded and we proceeded to order. We waited for half an hour for our food and our food came out cold! We ordered the appetizer papá rellena and steak with chimichurri, all cold. We were disappointed because we love Latin food.

The restaurant was nearly empty, with only one other couple dining at the time. Shortly after we sat down, I noticed one of the cooks open the front door of the restaurant, look directly at us, throw his hands up in frustration, and begin mumbling under his breath. He then started moving large boxes into the restaurant. Since I speak Spanish, I understood some of what he was saying. He complained that there were plenty of other seats available and questioned why we had chosen to sit where we were. As I looked more closely, I realized the mirrors beside our table were actually sliding doors to a storage area. It became clear that he was upset because my wife and I were seated in front of it. Had someone simply approached us and politely asked us to move, we would have gladly done so. Instead, the cook continued making comments under his breath and staring at us while moving boxes. Once he finished, he walked past our table, gave me a dirty look, and called me a vulgar name in Spanish ( cara de mierda). At that point, I stood up and asked him, in Spanish, to repeat what he had said. Rather than addressing the situation, he immediately walked into the kitchen and refused to come back out. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable having my food prepared by someone who had just openly insulted me and my pregnant wife. We decided to leave without ordering. This was especially disappointing because we have visited before and always enjoyed the restaurant. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled was completely unprofessional and has likely cost them two longtime customers.
