After a day of shopping at the Leesburg outlet mall, my husband and I decided to grab some lunch at Chicken Rico. My husband got the chicken quesadilla and I got the taco salad with chicken. The presentation of the food was great! However, the taco salad shell was not crispy and the chicken used in the salad was slightly over cooked and difficult to chew. The quesadilla was delicious! The green sauces provided were amazing and I was a bit jealous that I did not get the same thing. Maybe they were having an off day. I do plan on going back to try something else. We highly recommend eating your food at the store/right away. The white meat is a little dry, but the sauce helps. We like the green sauce the most. Hot tip: you can ask to get only the green sauce and they will give you additional green sauce in replacement of the other one. read more

I used to like this place, but the staff just seem to not care these days. I went in around 8:30pm and was told that they were no longer serving chicken. This place is a chicken restaurant and they had clearly decided to make a quick exit at closing time. There were chickens in the rotisserie, which they had shut down. I was told that all I could have was sides, really??? Obviously I left and as I sat in my car outside, ordering from somewhere else, I saw 3 more people walk in and the out again as there was no chicken being served. Pollo saltado: same as above, but with chicken strips instead of beef strips. 3. The half roasted chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and chick peas. They came with a side of jalapeno sauce and a honey mustard sauce, which was great with the fries and chicken/beef! Usually they would stop making meals thirty minutes before they closed but now they cook until closing. They even let a few people in after their posted closed hours last week to get whatever they had left as I guess closing due to Covid caused them loss in income to the point where they don't turn away customers....even those who come in at 7:59 when they close at 8:00.
