This was my first time here. Despite the chicken heavy menu I was steered to the Lomo Saltado. While it tasted very good, there was way too much salt. The French fries were very soggy;maybe put them in a separate takeout container. Wish I had a better review. read more

I asked for the steak fajitas quesadillas and didn't realize they gave me chicken quesadillas till I got back home. My stomach could only handle one and even then I was hanging close to the bathroom for the rest of the day. Really good stuff. The chicken is flavorful and still juicy. I wish the skin were more crispy however. But no complaints. The green sauce is spicy without being extreme. Stopped here for the first time. The staff were wearing masks, and there was only one other person inside. I got my food to take away, but the tables had been pushed apart. Fries were just ok, but the plantains were excellent. The chicken had a really nice spice mixture on the outside, but the chicken itself was just, well, chicken. You can smell the chicken cooking before you enter the place, so for some reasons my expectations were high. Honestly, I like Costco's rotisserie chicken better. Hate to say that. I tried them for the first time. I must say their buffalo wings are as good as any ones. I walked in and the staff was very friendly and I did not feel like a douche that came to bother them. The chicken and various sides are still consistent and tasty. It's still the main attraction, but the other items I've tried here aren't too shabby. This time, I tried the tamale and tres leches cake too. The tamale comes with a side of pickled red onions. Do beware, there's slices of habanero pepper in there too, so can give you a spicy kick too. The tamale entree comes with one that is stuffed with chicken, olives, and hard boiled egg. It's wrapped in a leaf and is bigger than the corn husk tamale cousins you may have had. The tamale was tender and moist. The tres leche cake is alright, but it's not the best one I've had. My only issue was that the cake wasn't thoroughly soaked, some parts of it seemed on the dry side. The chicken was a little salty, but absolutely delicious. I had a 1/2 chicken with 2 sides, black beans and yucca. The beans were too salty for me, a bummer since I really love black beans. Perhaps they'd be ok mixed with rice. The yucca, on the other hand, was absolutely perfect - crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. I'm likely to get just yucca next time. The yellow sauce that comes with your meal is surprisingly HOT. Next time, I will ask for another, milder sauce and perhaps alternate. This place has some of the best peruvian chicken I have ever had. I urge to get the whole chicken $13 and it comes with two sides: black bean and yellow rice. WOW, our tjhird greatest find in Leesburg, the chicken is awesome-moist and flavorful throughout. Rice was flavorless and clumped up, and yucca was decent. They need to work on the sauce, they ration it out like it's liquid gold or something but really doesn't have good flavor or seem to compliment anything. Best Rotisserie chicken in Loudoun County. I've tried (and retried) several rotisserie chicken places in the area; And after more than twenty trips to Wishbone I confidently declare it the best. Wishbone uses just the right amount of seasoning in their chickens, and the cooking technique leaves it moist and flavorful. You can taste a hint of the charcoal flavor in each bite. Leesburg is blessed with two very very good rotisserie chicken places. This is one of them. Food -- excellent food for a GREAT price. You can have a quality lunch here for under $10. I enjoy the yucca fries and love the chicken that just comes off the bone. On the other hand, the menu is somewhat limited outside the chicken, so I wouldn't recommend it if someone really doesn't like rotisserie chicken. Atmosphere -- Very nice. I've had Spanish music videos on when I go during lunch and the place is always nearly packed. Service -- great. You go up to the counter, order your food, and it comes out quickly. I used my Tuscarora booster card to get 10% off the food. When I saw the receipt, I initially thought I hadn't been charged the discount, but the guy behind the counter was 100% cool, explained it to me (well actually, the words had just left my mouth when I realized *I* was in error), but he was 100% cool when he had a chance to be a jerk. read more

The food is so bland for an ethnic chicken restaurant. We do wanted to like it. Got the charcoal whole chicken, black beans, onion rings and cole slaw. Chicken was super bland. No spice in the beans and the onion rings were soggy and too sweet. My daughter got the chicken kabob platter and enjoyed it. Said the rice was very good, but nothing more on the kabob than the meat.
