We have eaten at two other locations of this brand and liked it. While exploring lunch options here, we decided to try the fast casual restaurant hoping it would be as good. Luckily, it was. You order and pay at the counter. They give you a table number and bring your food to you. We both got the one scoop option of the Kelli -- which has almonds and dried cranberries mixed into the chicken salad. It comes with a choice of two sides. We both upgraded to soup for one of our sides. I got their chicken with wild rice soup which came out piping hot and was good (with a little added salt). He got the tomato bisque. There was a different extra charge for each soup. For our other side, I got their pasta salad and he got the sweet grapes. We have both had these before and knew we liked them. The plate also came with wrapped crackers, a pickle wedge, and a cookie. I'm so glad the chicken salad is not overly processed with too much mayonnaise. This is always a fun place for my hubby and I to go for lunch. We have been here many times we have tried their special and we always get there a chicken salad chick plate with a side and a cookie and we always love the croissant bread we have had the Olivia's south chicken salad along with classic Carol. I went to Chicken Salad Chick in Fort Myers for lunch. I was greeted by Kristin in the drive-thru window and she took my order. Very fast and great service along with several different chicken salad sandwiches to choose from. I ordered their Cranberry Kelli sandwich on white bread, not toasted, with lettuce and side of their delicious broccoli salad with bacon topping and a regular sized diet coke and an extra pickle slice. This is a brand new corner property so they have a drive thru as well several outdoor tables and many inside tables. The décor is comfy. Inside tables are covered with vinyl table clothes. Their concept is simple! They focus on variety of chicken salads from traditional (shredded chicken, celery and Mayonnaise), Savory (pecans, basil, lemon, onion, bacon, and smoked BBQ flavor), Fruity (apples, grapes, pineapple, cranberries, pecans and almonds) to Spicy (Jalapeno, Buffalo sauce, bacon, cheddar cheese and Sriracha). Today's Soups of Day are: broccoli & Cheese, Loaded Potato. I opted for a Sassy Scotty, a blend of ranch with bacon and cheddar cheese on a croissant and a cup of Loaded Potato Soup! The chicken salad croissant was filling. The Loaded Potato Soup was good but little on the salty side probably due to bacon bits topping! Five packages of Kellogg's Wheat crackers accompanied the soup and a small Chicken Salad Chick branded buttercream frosted cookies. The service is friendly and quick. Overall, it is a yummy lunch! Samples are all derivatives of the basic Classic Carol. 12 different options ranging from traditional, savory, fruity-nutty to spicy. Decor is excellent with tables alternating two different cloth covers. Outdoors they have 7 umbrella tables (ea seats four) which would have been our choice if we had stayed. The establishment was already generating traffic at this early hour despite the newly constructed strip center's incomplete status. My primary negative was the limited choice of breads: white, whole wheat and croissant. Really? No bed of lettuce, bagel or ciabatta? Bummer. Each sandwich is custom made & delivered to your table. I was hired by this company after 2 interviews. On my first day I showed up and whoever the Manager on duty at the time was very rude and unprofessional. When she answered the back door she looked at me and said what's all this I told her I was there for my first day of work. She said she knew nothing about me and couldn't train me. This really set me back as I had turned down numerous other job offers just to work for them. This experience left me with a sour taste in my mouth and would advise anyone trying to work to just skip Chicken Salad Chick they are not organized and the Managers treat people like they're trash. Wowza! Best chicken salad I think I've ever had. Came for lunch and was so pleasantly surprised by the entire operation and the prices. I had the classic chicken salad scoop, a side of grape salad, and the soup of the day. It was only like $10! I went with the original chicken salad, called The Carol, on a croissant with a cup of chicken tortilla soup. The chicken salad was good, but a little too much mayonnaise for me. The croissant sandwich was filling, and served with a pickle spear and 5 or 6 packs of wheat Keebler crackers. The chicken tortilla soup was good and served with crunchy tri-colored tortilla strips. I really liked the chicken salad initially but lately I've noticed that it's quite salty and not cleaned as well. I'm finding bones and cartridge in the salad and wasn't offered crackers or silverware. I only eat the classic carol so I can't speak to any other flavor. I also had their croissant sandwich and was quite disappointed in it. The croissant was very low quality based on the many croissants I have eaten. It was kind of soggy and rubbery. A good croissant is flaky. I thought it was skimpy on the chicken salad too. I was so happy to find out we now have a franchise locally! I've visited a different location while visiting my kid in college and I loved the potato soup. Went here the other day and it was busy at 2pm. All the tables were taken, even outside. But by the time we ordered and paid there were open tables. Food was delivered and it was very good. The soup was hot and really tasty. Our sandwiches were delish, too! One thing I will say is that my kid was a little bummed that the drink selection was not as great. I recall the one in her town has several different kinds of lemonade that are a bonus. When you average $3 for a fountain drink it is nice to have options other than the usual. I am a big fan of the food. They sometimes forget the lettuce or tomato on the sandwich, so you have to make sure to tell them. We often order for my office, orders are typically over $100 and we always order right when they open at 10 to avoid the lunch rush. I called and asked if he could label what was in the box, just a simple "carol, Dixie, etc" so that I am not picking through sandwiches trying to see what's inside for each person. He told me that it was a hassle and time consuming. We do not have crazy mods or special requests. I reminded him that I ordered first thing when they opened and stated we often order and it's just more convenient to the customer to have some way of knowing what's in each box. He said he remembers us ordering for our office on occasions before but then proceeded to still lecture me on why it's a pain to them. I'm sorry, but as a former restaurant GM when I was in college, I wouldn't tell a loyal customer who routinely orders large order for her business that she's being problematic. I have to start with why I'm giving one star. Anyone who is conscious of what they eat and smart enough to read labels should know that CSC's ingredients are from GMO sources as the list includes corn syrup, HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP and soybean oil .... This is the worst of the worst and I can never go back for another round of those three ingredients alone. I tried it just recently during Thanksgiving (was dazzled) and when I got home couldn't wait to go to my local restaurant and have my second serving of Chicken Salad. As Im reading the ingredients, I immediately went from Happy Face to Lemon Sucking Face. Not a return customer unless they exclude all the garbage ingredients.
