Tried this place in the food court at Grapevine Mills. Was sold from their hot and fresh juicy sample and the sample lady was awesome. However, upon ordering, the lady behind the cash register was not the best at customer service. She was not completely helpful with the menu and seemed more intent to charge us more for the meals. The chicken sandwiches only come with a choice of fries as a side. If you want to switch fries for another side, it is an additional charge. We also ordered a 10 piece tender deal which cost approximately $12, no drinks or sides. To add a drink, it's $2.49, and to add a small sized side, it's another charge. All the charges are fine, we just thought it'd be worth more or more food for the price. The 10 piece tenders came with small sized tenders. Which was not enough to be split between 3 people. The chicken sandwich was a much better deal and more filling. I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich, which is actually two buns with cheese, lettuce, tomato, jalapeños, and two tenders. It came with a decent side of fries and the sandwich tasted delicious. But it's spicy, which I love so if you're not a fan of spice then go with the traditional chicken sandwich. The sandwich meal also comes with a drink. On the side, there are sauces. They have a sauce which is similar to cane sauce from raising cane. However, the sauce is a bit more bland than cane sauce but still delicious! Then they have the same sauce in spicy. So they have spicy and mild. They also have their own BBQ sauce and ranch as an option. Overall, the food was good. Pricing and customer service can be improved some. Still recommend! read more

I got cheese fries and BBQ chicken wings. The fries would have been decent had they been even warm: cold cheese. The BBQ chicken wings, while fried correctly, weren't dressed in sauce, but rather it was just dumped on the top. It completely overpowered the wings. Most sides sitting out looked old, which is weird since its only 11:20. My man got a chipotle chicken wrap and he at least enjoyed his food. It was $20.42 with two drinks. Probably wouldn't return here. The food court here is the WORST. read more

This is a food court stop that's main option is chicken. They have various sides and as well have a grilled cheese option for a kids meal but a part of that is probably due to toast being one of their side options for meals. Well somehow this became my older child's preferred place to eat if we are eating at the mall. I think we made her try it one time the pizza, panda & sonic lines were stupid long compared to the not as well known other food court choices. (We don't like Taco Bell) Cost wise its Slightly more than I'd like but not horrible when considering your in a tourist mall food court. You can get a cheeper meal at the sonic but the food is better here so I'll spend an extra buck for better food if I'm already in a tourist place. Most of the adult meals come with two sides; kids meals come with a side and drink. read more

While me and my friends explored Grapevine Mills, we stopped at their food court during lunch time. As others got food from different restaurants, I decided to try another chicken place, this one being Chickenow. I ordered the 4-piece tenders combo with mashed potatoes and gravy and garlic toast. The staff there is friendly and courteous, their food is prepared right and delicious, and they have good service. My only nitpick is that the tenders were a bit oily, though the taste and their dip(s) more than made up the difference. This review is enough for me to make another visit. read more

Update: DONT EAT HERE!!!! My husband is throwing up from 15mins ago from eating the chicken wrap!! I'm about to go report this! Absolutely ridiculous! Don't waste your money here. It was awful... It's your typical mall food destination. I had a chicken quesadilla that needed salsa to liven it up, rather bland and the chicken was a bit dry. Made a short visit to Grapevine. Took a visit to the very large Grapevine Mall to discover a great little chicken joint in the food court operated by a very friendly staff. The food is served hot and fresh and very quickly! They serve Texas size Luzianne Sweet Tea and a few different types of dipping sauces..the chicken hot and juicy, the mac and cheese and cole slaw creamy and delicious. This chicken spot was reserved especially for the Grapevine Mills Mall. I believe it replaced Popeyes. Fairly new, this place has some really good chicken that makes for an even better chicken sandwich! This particular sandwich is the Cajun chicken sandwich. Not a lot special about it. The first bite is awesome then you start to get used to it and it kind of loses that awesome taste. One Star. It's the only chicken place in the mall though, so I'll have to suffice when I'm out a Grapevine. read more

Do yourself a favor and check the dates on salad dressing packets when ordering a salad at this place. I learned this the hard way over this past weekend. I had a chicken salad and was given a packet of the Newman's blue cheese dressing (supposedly the only dressing they had on hand). I knew as soon as I tasted it there was something off. I checked the date and the use by date was January 2018, a full seven months past its prime. YUCK! read more

MMMM MMMM Good! Really good for a fast food joint located in a mall. They do entice you with free samples, but they don't pressure you. They are just being competitive with all of the other places giving out freebies. The sauces are good and the chicken is lighly battered and fresh. (Man, this place must've just opened since I can't find any information about this location on the company's own website. But it's right there in front of me.) Anyhow, my girlfriend and I were enticed into trying this place by a friendly (but slightly pushy) Asian lady who was in front of the location passing out samples of this chicken (with or without dipping sauce). We tried the sample (and considering the interesting marketing) we decided to go ahead and get a meal here. My girlfriend had the Caesar Salad Wrap and I had the Chicken bowl (chicken, mashed red potatoes, corn, and brown gravy) with a side of Plantain Bananas. First off, they claim to sell Iced Tea but they do not have Un-sweet tea so keep that in mind when you order a drink (especially if you don't drink soda, like myself). How was the chicken?.... Pretty good. The breading is crunchy, but the meat is slightly dry. Not dry enough to dislike, but it's still drier then other chicken that I've had. At the end, I was full and mostly satisfied by the purchase even though I feel that it was just... barely overpriced (maybe by a dollar). But most people seemed crazy about this chicken after having a sample for themselves so I don't think the price is really a factor. And the plantains were so good. They were sweet, chewy and Mmm.. I want some more. So overall I say, try Chickenow (or at least the sample). read more

For being in the food court of a mall this place was FREAKIN GOOD. Now, they advertise that they have the worlds best chicken - and me and my hubby love some chickeny-goodness so we had to see if their chicken lived up to their boast. My assessment: although it made me do a little dance of happiness after my first bite, theyre not the best chicken tenders in the world. I think those elusive tenders are still hiding in a fryer elsewhere in the world as we speak. Anyways......like I mentioned, the tenders were freakin amazing. they were fried perfectly and had some awesome flavor with just the right amount of crispness. Each combo comes with 2 sides so we tried out their fries and the plantains. the fries were awesome, but the plantains were simply alright - if they had been cut thinner instead of just in chunks they would have been much much better. Wanted to do no stars for the review, Food was disgusting. I got food poisoning from the old lettuce they gave me in my chicken sandwich. I had to call into work the next day because I was up all night constantly running to the restroom that I was fatigued in the morning from no sleep. Bad customer service, they were not sanitary at all. Condiment containers had hard stuff stuck inside the bottles. I hope nobody gets sick like I did. Will not be going back and I do not recommend this establishment. read more

Some of the BEST CHICKEN STRIPS I HAVE EVER had and yes I do mean EVER! They were lightly battered hot and fresh, better than Canes,Chickfila,KFC,McD,Cheddars,chicken express, the list goes on.....ect. Granted I did have a kids meal with fries and sometimes the smaller the portion-the better it tastes but dipped in that spicy grandmas self-serve sauce, it was a win win! Tried something different this time. Worst chicken Caesar salad I've ever eaten. The romaine lettuce was warm and the grilled chicken was piping hot so the dressing evaporated when I put it on. There was almost no Parmesan cheese and the croutons were soggy from the steam in the plastic container. They need to chill their salads. I will never order this item and may never return. Came expecting a Raising Canes alternative. The food court was packed but the line was relatively short (this probably should have been our first clue). We get to the cashier and I ask what is on the buffalo chicken sandwich. The cashier, who clearly didn't speak English, said buffalo chicken. I specified, "Lettuce? Mayo? Tomato? Cheese?" He just looked at me. I further specified, "I'm allergic to eggs and I need to know if there is mayonnaise." I think he then got it and said (phonetically), "Cream jah-lah-peen." Clearly there was other stuff on it so I decided to go with just a chicken tender box as did my girlfriend. She got mashed potatoes and fries and I got corn and yellow rice. As they were bringing it out about to put the sides on the tray, I noticed the rice was congealed and orange that resembled elementary school cafeteria Mexican rice. Luckily, they had Mac and cheese, which was not on the menu so I had her switch it. We sat down to eat. The chicken was overcooked, dry, gristly, and flavorless. Neither of us could manage to eat more than a couple bites. The fries were mushy and cold. The corn was like eating popcorn kernels. The Mac and cheese was ok, but I added about four packets of salt (which I had to get from another restaurant because they did not have any). Then my girlfriend looked in her mashed potatoes and saw a long black hair protruding through the congealed gravy. Since I'm blonde and she's brunette, we decided to call it and toss the $18 worth of food in the trash. I couldn't write this review fast enough but unfortunately I had to wait about 10 minutes because the food had to evacuate my body faster. Luckily there was a restroom close with ample toilet paper. At least the Coke we drank was good - but honestly, we needed about 3 times that much to wash the taste out. You've been warned - of course, with the horrendously poor level of food, I doubt they will be around long enough for you to have a chance to try it! read more
