We will Never eat at this Cane's ever again. So wrong on every level. First off our service was horrible! The order taker asked me 3 times if our order was togo or here. Same answer all 3 times...togo. Well, our food came up plated and we had to bag it togo. Our food was cold, but even worst was the taste. Hello Canes... I recently came through the drive through to wait behind another person for their meal to be fulfilled. I waited about 5 mins which felt like 10 but was glad to get up to the window and get my meal. My meal was ready to go which meant that all items were in the packaging getting cold until it was handed to me. Getting home to cold fries is disappointing and could have been avoided by having the car in front pull into a parking space to keep the flow moving. Canes for me is new and I really enjoy the flavor of all the food you have. This time my chicken pieces all had missing batter that had fallen off most likely after they were cooked. I love the coating and to have it missing meant my chicken was partially naked.... I called to chat with the manager in hopes of explaining these things but after letting the phone ring for over a minute-I knew there's a problem here. Out of all the Raising Cane's restaurants unfortunately you've earned the title of being the one that needs the most attention to get things right. This was my first visit to this Canes location. It is nice and spacious and seemed very clean. They called our name and we were given our basket of food. We had to go back up to the condiment station to get a fork for the coleslaw. I would think they would naturally include a fork in the basket. Maybe it was just an oversight. The chicken tenders were perfectly cooked and moist and delicious. Is it just me or isn't it hilarious that Iced T has his name and picture all over the iced tea dispenser? LOL read more

Gone several times; the first few times nothing unremarkable. Overpriced and small portions, in my opinion. This time they were nearly dead at lunchtime. I was eager for a quick service. I get back to my office and the damn fries are half cooked, wildly starchy and greasy and salty. They're inedible. The chicken portion is tiny. 25 dollars for two meals that are just downright nasty. It's sad to see what was a very consistent and admirable chain go downhill so fast in the span of eight years or so. It's pretty consistent with the locations I've visited in TX, NV, and CA. I used to go to the original location in Baton Rouge years ago and have been a loyal customer since. I have stopped at this location a few times and the food is always great. I don't stop for fast food too often, but when I do, I'll try to stop at a Cane's. The chicken they use is "fresh, never frozen." The quality is consistently amazing from location to location. Also, the customer service is always excellent. You can't find a better fast-food place for chicken. On my last visit, I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door, the food was steaming hot-fresh and it was clean inside. Made it a great way to end a long day at work. The food here is average at best. I don't understand all the hype around this place but it must have a loyal following from the college and football people. I found the Cane sauce to be a little too salty but the chicken tasted good. I just wish there were more items to choose from on their menu and I would come back. Raising Cane's has good chicken tenders, but so does every other place in the area: Golden Chick, Popeye's, KFC, and across the street is Whataburger and Chick-fil-A. These places also have more options on their menu and I like their sauces better. Some even have mashed potatoes and gravy which is a must in Texas. I don't want to dip toast into a salty Cane sauce. I'm happy that Raising Cane's has such a loyal following, but it's just not for me. read more

You know that feeling you get when you think you're interrupting someone from doing what they really want to be doing? That's this canes. Rude staff. I went tonight and the girl in the drive thru almost interrupted our entire order with "ok" about five times yet when we got to the window, she got it wrong. We asked for unsweetened tea and got sweet. We asked for hot and fresh fries, we got a soggy dump. So we left. When she first handed us one of our drinks, there may have been about 1/4 c of ice. I'd prefer to not spend my money here if all we got was warm tea, soggy fries and a poor attitude. read more

Gimme that Cane's sauce!!! And the chicken is pretty good too! I really enjoy coming to this place. They are quick, friendly, and never have any issues with substitutes or additions to your order. Also, I have never had a problem with their drive-thru which is a rising problem among a lot of the places in the area. I always get an extra Cane's sauce as one is never enough for me! There are few places that serve chicken fingers about which I can actually get excited. This is one. They are absolutely tender & delicious every single time. That Cafe's sauce is just perfect with it. I've had crinkle cut fries a million times but somehow I can't stop eating theirs. So good! I am personally not a fan of either bread or cole slaw, but my family assures me that's perfect, because it means they always get to eat mine, and they love it! We go to this Raising Cane's at least 2 to 3 times a week in Richardson. The food is always good. Today we were there about 2 hours early than normal. Wow, today was exceptional. Whoever the crew was at about about 4:30 pm was awesome. The date is november 2nd. The fries, chicken, bread. Coleslaw were exceptional. It is not just my opinion but my spouse as well. Received terrible customer service at drive thru today. The person who took my order was rushing me and got my order wrong. The guy in the first window had an ugly attitude when I corrected my order. Good food. No real variety, but there doesn't need to be- it's a chicken finger joint! The special sauce is to die for so I buy my boys an extra serving because they are small. They charge 35 cents for the extra amount. Their tea and lemonade are really good, too. They are great supporters of the local schools sports teams and I love that. They also give teachers a gift certificate for a free box meal for teacher appreciation week. How cool is that?!? (Thanks, Canes!!!) The staff was very friendly and the place is new and clean. I used to love this place, but living in E Richardson it hasn't been very convenient until this new location opened. Wow...I can appreciate a business cutting costs, but looks like they've cut their cost significantly by shrinking the tenders. $11 for some fries, toast, slaw, a drink, and 6 chicken strips that combined are less than a small chicken breast? Great service, the menu choice though is plain chicken fingers. Do want 2, 3, 4 or more. All come with an akward thick slice of bread and some sauce which is not a good "special" sauce. That is your menu choice, seriously, where is the variety?! Geez, golden corral sounds better and that's nasty as well. Like I mentioned the 2 stars is for service not for the food. I found out about this restaurant about a year ago, and ever since then I've loved it. The food is very comforting and always cooked perfectly. Might I add the sauce? Yum. The staff are so very friendly and enthusiastic when doing their job. They are also handling the COVID-19 situation well by having drive-thru only, and always wearing masks for the safety of the customers. Well I have had Caines a couple times now but this was my first time to dine in the restraunt. It was a very clean place and I liked the "hometown" wall memorabilia. Of course the sweet tea is EXCELLENT as well as the Caines sauce. Fries are just a bit better then average run of the mill. All the food was very fresh. I made the mistake of getting the Caniac Combo which was a Huge portion of everything. Only problem I had was the price for it but it's more then enough food to share with someone if you want. I'll be back but will go with a smaller combo if it's just me. My daughter loved the place, it was her 1st time and she is an instant fan. read more

We are big fans of canes so we went through drive through,our order was taking but in the middle of it the girl taking our order said "are you done!are you done! Are you done!" Over and over and over again in such a rude and annoyed voice.ive worked in costumer service before and let me tell you,that is not okay what's so ever,we let her know that we are not done and to let us finish,and she just started laughing and said "okay" we got to the window,her and the other people there were laughing,and being rude,I looked at my receipt and her name was "Evelyn " what a coincidence that someone from their corporate came into my job the next day, .
