This restaurant came as a recommendation and I would recommend it to someone else. Now we went at a decent time, but say close to a huge party so the server was stretched thin; however, the overall experience wasn't bad. The food took a minute to come out but taste fresh! The drink menu offers a variety and with the servers helped I made a great selection. There is definitely something for everyone!

Great fried chicken and even better waffles! Love the kool aids and omg the cornbread are amazing!! Sevice is okay though. Plenty of table to sit, casual, nothing fancy and it can get busy on Sundays.

This is a go-to for comfort food. Whether it's sweet or savory, LoLo's has something to fit the taste. The waffles are filling. The fried chicken was good. The grits won me over.

Ordered Roasted Chicken Dinner Plate and received a plentiful plate! It comes with 1/2 chicken, cornbread, and two sides. The chicken was flavorful and tender. For the sides, I ordered dirty rice (10/10) and spinach (this wasn't seasoned at all... wouldn't recommend). I would order the same dish again and try different sides. The cornbread 10/10 when warm.

I went with some friends for brunch. The food was sooooo good and the servings were robust enough that I couldn't finish and took some for leftovers. I got the Soul Food Platter with catfish and chicken and Kool-Aid. My God today! The server was polite but come expecting to enjoy your friends' or family's company as you wait on your food. It's not overly loud so it's no issue to do so (and I can get sensory overload) I can't wait until I return.

Finally stopped into Lo-Lo's and was not disappointed. My sister raves about this place so my expectations were pretty high going in. For starters, every staff member was super kind! All smiles and eager to help, my kind of customer service! We were seated shortly after arrival, with no reservation, so that was nice! We dined in for Sunday brunch, nice sized crowd & the football games were on the TVs. Our server, Kevin, was so sweet and attentive. For the table: Fried catfish - amazing! Not too greasy, cooked perfectly and battered/seasoned well. Kevin confirmed that the fish is cooked in separate oil, win for me when I'm eating pescatarian. Waffle - delicious! Personally, I don't like my waffles crunchy so happy to report theirs were soft and fluffy! They add cinnamon to their batter which is a nice touch. Grits - both the cheese and regular were enjoyed! Cornbread - solid! A nice helping of butter served on top. Margarita - also solid! My only "pain point" would be that the building could use an update inside but clean nonetheless.

Shrimp and grits. I'm picky and this passed the test. Roll just a roll didn't eat it.

Can never go wrong with good ol Chicken & Waffles. This location has ample parking and was fairly empty when I arrived. Customer service was great though, my waitress didn't mention any of the happy hour specials to me until I inquired. I ordered the Toy Toy which included two chicken wings and one waffle which was more than enough for me. I also added blue kool-aid which came in a large mason jar and an order of blackened shrimp deviled eggs. All were the good taste of a home cooked meal to me. And thanks to the waitress for the glass of water as well because the kool-aid was a bit on the sweet side.

My daughter & I went yesterday evening and enjoyed our meal. I hadn't been since they changed locations - I really like the space they're in. There was no wait when we arrive but still a good sized crowd there. We were seated and our server came right over. We got our blue Kool-aid and reviewed the menu. My daughter wanted to try the hot honey shrimp deviled eggs so we got 2 and she ate them. I'll take her word for it that they were good because I didn't get to have one. Lol I ordered the two wings + waffle and she got the 3 pieces + 2 waffles. No complaints on the food... delicious.

This joint was just okay. The best part was the cocktail. The food was good but nothing stands out. Service was okay. They play good music.

My goodness this place crazy packed today. Not sure if it's cuz of Sunday but I had to get my food to go cuz of the wait was so bad. But I would prefer not to hear all that secular music anyways. Actually my first time here. And found out from their shirts they had several of these. Even in other states. The food was good. I can't believe how many black people gave it bad reviews. I gave it a good review and I didn't even like the atmosphere. Felt like walking into a club which I don't do. I had both fried and blackened catfish. Both was good. Too much salt in that butter dip tho. That biscuit gotta be the best one I ever had. And it didn't flake up and break like all the others. Only other place like that is babes chicken. They make they greens just like I make mines in chicken broth. I know that taste anywhere. Prices was insane. Almost 5 bucks for a large Dr Pepper. I can get two 2 liters for that price. I could deal without that loud music playing. Who in the world needs music to eat? I really hate this about most restaurants. And can't stand a bar atmosphere either. As I don't drink. Can't even stand the site or smell of it. Other than that it was good eating.

We've passed by this location many times and finally decided to pop in since we were in the area. There's plenty of parking around this location and we arrived before dinner rush so were seated right away! The restaurant is clean and the staff was very friendly! We came during happy hour so grabbed a few drinks and the fried green tomatoes. The drinks were good but needed more alcohol. The fried green tomatoes were a good too but I wasn't a fan of the sauce it came with. We shared the soulfood platter, which came with plenty of food for the two of us. The catfish and chicken had really good flavor on the batter and the collared greens were probably our favorite thing of the meal. The fries tasted either refreshed or undercooked and the cornbread and biscuit tasted reheated as well. I think if we got the food fresh, it would be better.

I finally made it here with my husband and mother-in-law, and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious, and our server was amazing--so sweet and super knowledgeable about the menu. The vibe was perfect too; their playlist was full of 90s R&B, which happens to be my favorite. For an appetizer, we tried the shrimp deviled eggs--so good! I ordered the catfish with mac and cheese and collard greens, and it was incredible. My husband also went with the catfish, paired with okra, and loved it. The drinks were just as tasty, and I especially loved the big mason jars they serve them in. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the very next day and even asked for the same server--Cathy. Her service is truly A1! I only wish they had one of these restaurants in New York, but I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in Texas again.

Amazing brunch but the prices are a little higher than usual for brunch. Go turn up and have fun here and enjoy some great food.

Who can remember what used to be in this location? It had kind of a Sunday Brunch / French countryside vibe to it. Omelettes come to mind.

    It was Mimi’s Cafe.

I need reservation for tomorrow at 11 am?

They don't make reservations. You must get in line on YELP. It will let you know the anticipated time for you to be seated.

Are you actually open yet in your new location?

Yes they are open. The new location is great, you should check it out sometime!

Our server, Macy, made some excellent recommendations, and everything we tried was delicious. The chicken and waffles were a highlight--the chicken was lightly breaded, beautifully seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The pancakes were incredibly fluffy, and the waffles were delicious too. What really made this place stand out, though, was the exceptional attentiveness from the entire team. It wasn't just Macy; staff members regularly came by to refill our water, add ice, and refresh our cold-brewed tea. The manager herself stopped by several times to make sure our drinks were topped up and that everything was going well. That level of genuine care makes such a difference. It's the kind of service that makes you want to come back again and again and eventually make a place your local favorite. The area itself is lovely, with plenty of little restaurants and shops to explore, and there's also plenty of free parking nearby.

Butter and honey made it a good appetizer * The chicken tenders were crisp and juicy and I love to dip mine in gravy versus a sauce so this was perfect. * Thought the greens were flavorful and a nice side. *Chicken and waffle was a nice plate- same chicken tenders as above. *Nice cocktail list- as they have a full bar.
