We just got into town and we wanted to try a real Philly cheesesteak Sandwich so we opted for this restaurant that's two minutes from our hotel. Our server was very kind and helpful. He's only 20 so it was difficult for him to recommend a drink. He did recommend the fries and the Philly cheesesteak so that's what we ordered. It was good. Apparently this restaurant is a chain all over the ballparks in Philadelphia. I'm glad we were able to try the sandwich. read more

Nice place. Great sports bar with big televisions. Food was decent. It was about 9 of us. We ordered a little bit of everything. Fries. Mozzarella sticks - but they looked like tots. Fried shrimp. So good. Patty melt looked good and filling. Fish tacos were okay. A little on the dry side. Should've came with some sauce. Burgers looked amazing. Calamari was generously served and the marinara sauce was amazing. Our server was also very attentive. Had a good eating experience here. Would come back. Came here last night to switch things up. We ordered cheesesteaks, wings, Crab fries of course. Outside of the crab fries everything was bland and gross. The boneless wings are so gross - don't order. The table we were sat at was in a dark dreary corner. Our waitress checked on us every 4 minutes and we felt so rushed and uncomfortable. Great sports bat with average food and awesome waitstaff. We ate here with a hockey team and was able to sit at two large tables together. They allow call ahead seating,.which was helpful Our waitress was awesome, very helpful and attentive. The recommendations were spot on. Most of the food is fried / bar food but our salads were really good and so was the pizza. Used to dine frequently at this location and it was great. I've cut back to treating myself to a meal out once a week lately and missed Chickie and Pete's so I was excited to return. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, the classic crab fries with cheese and a soda. The chicken was cold with the hot french fries warmed it as I tried to eat, I wouldn't send something back as I've worked in restaurants when I was in school. Long story short, there was a fly that kept landing in my food so I had to stop eating altogether. When the hostess came by she asked if I needed a box and I said no I can't eat this food because a fly keeps landing on it. She said they'd had construction recently and just can't seem to get rid of the flies and presented me with my bill for $25+. read more

We had been seated for 20 minutes without anybody acknowledging that we were even there - no drink order/no hello be right with you/NOTHING. A waiter had waited on a table next to us and even the manager had been near us to check on the waiter but still no acknowledgment that we were there. There wasn't many people there - we were about to move to the bar just to get service due to the fact that was where a handful of customers were. Thank goodness for Kyla - she walked by us and did a double take and asked if we had been helped (we weren't in her section). She was the polar opposite of what we had just experienced - she was attentive/courteous/thoughtful. She offered suggestions off the menu - she was SPECTACULAR! She salvaged the entire experience. The food was ok but her service was EXCEPTIONAL. My wife and I were so impressed with her that we offered her a job - we live in another state but her customer service skills were impeccable. Came here for Friday lunch. It was pretty busy here. Our party had 5 people. The service was a little bit slow. But that was understandable because of the March Madness... I have never been to a place where I loved the places' lobster rolls and fries more than Chickie's & Pete's -- they got it going on. The chunks of lobster as you can see by the photo is just remarkable and the taste is even better. The crab fries are amazing, but for an individual who doesn't eat a lot and wasn't dining with anyone, I only got through maybe half or so, which is unfortunate because you have to get the full size at their rate of $5.99. Hmm, if you're around town this may be the only open late. Yes they have some great beer on tap - which is why I rated the stars I did. However it is a big deflating when the menus are greasy, help seems at times distant, and food looks and tastes like Cisco brand. It's a Crab themed Chili's knockoff sure but it could be quite amazing with a few touch's. Crab fries were disappointing to me. I didn't mind them but the Old Bay all over regular fries wore on me after a few bites. I'd have like to see actual crab - perhaps even in the dipping sauce if you're going to name them that. Staff could be a bit more put together - yoga pants are not an issue to me if they didn't look so dirty. Staff could also be a bit more engaging with patrons. Craft beer is amazing as I said and a reason to come in while playing trivia or watching a game on their big TVs. Would I go back? I suppose if I stay at the hotel adjacent. I brought my wife to your Audubon, PA location for Valentine's Day, and the experience was bad from the beginning and got much worse. We had 6pm reservations, and arrived early. Before we were seated, my wife used the restroom. When she returned, she mentioned that the restroom was disgusting - filthy and gross. We were seated when she returned. The host brought us to our table and placed two filthy menus on the table. A few minutes after we sat down, our waiter appeared. He didn't welcome us, introduce us to himself - nothing. This was foreshadowing the disinterested service that we would receive from him for the rest of our visit. He asked if we wanted to order drinks. Since we had just sat down and were getting acquainted with the food and drink menus, we told him we were not ready. Without a word, he walked away. He eventually came back and we ordered drinks. He also asked if we wanted to order food at that time. I told the waiter what I wanted and my wife had questions about what she was interested in ( she didn't want whatever sauce was on the sandwich, per the menu). When the waiter brought the drinks back, there was something solid floating around in mine, so we asked to send it back. He then asked what my wife was interested in again (he forgot). A few minutes later, my food came out (lobster cheese steak and crab fries). I asked for silverware and was told that it's all being washed. I asked if there was something I could scoop food with, and the waiter said he could bring out plastic utensils. We flagged our waiter down and he asked again what she wanted. After waiting 10 minutes, I began eating my meal because I thought it wouldn't taste good cold. I finished my meal in 15 minutes and my wife still hadn't received her meal. Five minutes later, her meal came out - and the meal that she ordered - that she asked for without sauce four times came out slathered with sauce. We asked for it to be re-made. Her meal finally came out, correct - 40 minutes after my meal was served. Annoyed - since this whole experience was a mess, I asked the host to find the manager because I'd like to speak with him/her. The host went to find the manager. My wife and I waited at least 10 minutes - maybe 15 -- and the manager never came over to speak with me. Frustrated, we paid and left. Walking out, I told the host that the manager never came over. His reply was "oh". Not lemme try again. Just "oh". I don't think I've ever had a worse dining experience. It seems that everyone played a part in making this a horrible experience from beginning to end. read more

Crab fries were fine and it's pretty hard to mess with cooked shrimp. $13 for a Buffalo chicken salad - what arrived was an abundance of iceberg lettuce some of which was wilted and brown edged , a negligible amount of chicken. The waitress seems distracted, doesn't get your order in right (crab fries came out last), a root beer takes way longer than it should. I wanted to give this restaurant a chance because I've heard of lots of great things about their fries; however, the fries are extremely overrated. The only thing "unique" about the fries is the old bag seasoning, but the fries itself wasn't even tasty. It just left me feeling greasy and unhealthy afterwards. The bruschetta was a letdown as well. It shouldn't be that hard to make decent bruschetta, but the bread was old and disgustingly crunchy. The mozzarella and et cetera on top was not even good. Called ahead to find out what time they were open tonight, as many places hours have changed due to COVID-19. They say 10pm. Arrive around 7:50, the parking lot is blocked off to allow for an ample outdoor seating area. There's a hostess stand outside under the tent & the normal one inside. No direction on who to go to though, we went inside as normal and the hostess from outside followed us in to take our info. They text you when your table is ready. Only waited 20 minutes to be seated, however that was the shortest wait of the night. Now, I completely understand that there's challenges now for businesses and a lot of places are still figuring things out... I have more patience than most people, but have never had to wait that long at ANY Chickie and Pete's for food. Almost 30 minutes for the crab fries. Another 15-20 for two more pieces of our order...final part, dozen wings, took an HOUR from the time we ordered, to arriving at the table. I understand being under staffed, but the restaurant is operating at probably 25% capacity and it was a Wednesday night, not that busy. There were multiple employees milling around the bar area and it seemed only a few were helping bring food to tables. I can only surmise there was minimal staffing in the kitchen for the amount of time the food was taking to come out to the tables. Still go, but pack your patience. read more
