Food is OK but the people are a trip. That, apart from gambling on horses, is the best part.

It didn't help that several of the beer/ and non-alcohol options that were ordered at our table were out of stock. The philly cheesesteak, the burger, and my fries were all-ok. What makes this a 4 star review was the offering of the IPA by Evil Genius - Stacy's Mom Yeah, that's the name and she does have it goin' on!!! This refrain is perfectly suited for this IPA "Stacy's mom has got it goin' on She's all I want And I've waited for so long Stacy, can't you see? You're just not the beer for me I know it might be wrong but I'm in love with Stacy's mom" Stacy's Mom is one of Evil Genius' year-round flagship beers. It's an IPA with low bitterness and lots of hop flavor. Dry-hopped entirely with Citra. One of the best IPAs I have ever had. I had two that night. 3 stars for P.J and 5 stars for Stacy's Mom.

In small wording on the wing promotion it states that it is only good on 10 wings. I went to order five and you would think the waitress would tell me but she said nothing. Five is actually more than the half price of 10. Also, my buddy ordered naked wings with the wing sauce on the side. The kitchen gave him the wrong wing sauce when we asked her to correct it. she ended up charging us for extra wing sauce. Well, it was only a dollar but still. I also felt like she was rushing us out of the restaurant. I love the wings but my experience in house at all of them has been negative. I don't know if it's the type of person they hire or a training issue but they need to work on it

After we left him, the two of us were literally starving. On the way home, I drove through Audubon Shopping Center for a place to get a bite. I saw the bar and "bingo!" Ale House?!?! What could be better than a beer and a sandwich? There were about ten regular customers at the bar, and all seemed to be enjoying themselves. My daughter and I decided to sit at the bar rather than at a table. When my daughter mentioned it was my birthday, I was surprised and felt very honored that just about everyone wished me a Happy Birthday. We sat next to a couple and got engrossed in a great conversation. We ordered our beer and a menu special: a prime rib sandwich. Oh, wow, it was mouth-watering and so delicious! I savored every morsel of that sandwich! The Audubon Ale House is a bar's bar. By that, I mean that it's an actual bar that doesn't pretend to be otherwise. The customers all seemed to be regulars, and the vibe seemed to be right out of "Cheers," the TV series. If I lived in the area, I would probably go very often, just for the food and to meet and know some of the regulars. I highly recommend you try this place. They have various specials each day of the week. They also have outdoor dining, and that would be a lot of fun when it gets a bit warmer.

RESERVATIONS: Didn't seem like it was necessary unless you have a large party like we did. PARKING: Plenty of free stalls. MENU: About as big, bountiful and similar to The Cheesecake Factory, including sushi. BEVERAGE: Strawberry Mint Lemonade The taste of watermelon was chief. Very refreshing with a good alcohol to mixers ratio. FOOD: French Onion Soup Textbook recipe but there but there was very little broth, which was unfortunately lukewarm and an over abundance of cheese. It was topped with French fried onions that provided pleasurable texture and some added flavor. Tommy's Original Coal Oven Roasted Wings (10 pcs.) An equal mix of drumettes & wingettes, mildly seasoned, nicely roasted & charred in all the right places, topped with cooked onions and a big green pepper. The ranch dressing was definitely needed for a flavor boost. A rarely-offered, healthier alternative to traditional deep-fried wings. Penne Vodka with Chicken The small portion I tried was good, not great. The vodka sauce wasn't as tasty or rich as my benchmark version at Marcos Grill & Deli (Maui). SERVICE: Female server was friendly but there was no follow up. Food & beverage took a while to come out. OVERALL: Conventional place that'll satisfy most folks.

I placed an order over the phone for a large white seafood pizza - light on the spice. When I arrived, AN order was ready and when I went to pay she told be "$12.95". I knew that was not right so I asked. She said "yes - white pizza". I said "no" and restated the correct order. She spoke to a gentleman and he came and said "we can make a new one but it will take 15-17 minutes". I said "ok - fine". As I sat and waited, no one spoke to me or offered me an apology. When I was told the pizza was ready, the server verified I was a large white seafood light on the spice. I answered"yes. thank you. anything else?" she said "did you order anything else"? I said "no, but I was hoping for an apology and perhaps an offer of anything for the mistake and inconvenience". She said nothing. The guy behind the counter that spoke to me earlier asked her to verify it was the correct pizza as there was a second box on the counter and she confirmed. As I was walking out, I looked at him and asked "no apology? no offer to discount? no free garlic bread? anything?" He said "what do you want?" I said "I shouldn't have to ask." and walked out. All he said was "OK. Have a good night". I have been ordering this pizza from you for over 20 years, especially during Lent, (I live around the corner) and this was the first time I had an issue. But to be dismissed the way I was for what clearly was your mistake and there was no attempt to smooth it over and make it right was extremely disappointing. You should have done better and I SHOULD NOT have to tell you that! Thank you for listening, That was 4 weeks ago and still nothing.

First of all, the owners are long-time beer makers and Phoenixville residents. With that comes the distinct advantage that they are truly plugged into the community. They host a variety of different, fun, and engaging events from yoga to quizzo to watch parties for Philly sports. There's always something happening, and the owners are almost always pouring the beers and working the bar, including their son. You can feel the devotion and passion they've put into this endeavour! Their space is awesome! It's huge, open-air optional, and a great place to post up with a couple of beers. Speaking of the beers, I'm always impressed with their offerings. Personally, the honey kolsch is my favorite. They dabble in a variety of beer styles, including the popular smoothie sours, but I'm a big fan of their lagers. Food is BYO unless there's a food truck. They also offer a hotdog combo: 2 hot dogs and bag of chips for $6; sold! The faces are friendly, the people are warm, the beer is cold, and vibes are...vibing. Twelve78 is definitely worth a visit (or 4!)

I do work in the area and we come for lunch and happy hour regularly. It's a minute from the Target, Lowe's, BJs shopping center and has a nice private lot. It's changed a bit in the last decade. They got rid of the 2 pool tables and now have more seating in the dining room. There is a full bar in this area as well, tho often closed unless it's really busy. What hasn't changed? The food is still tasty. Great smoked meats and amazing lunch specials during the week. They also do a great job hiring good servers here, efficient and personable. I think Marissa is the only server I've known long term, but Audrey waited on us today and was absolutely wonderful. Be sure to mention to her how much you love Audrey Hepburn, might score you a drink! The lunch specials are amazing. So amazing I don't even want to mention them because it already gets busy. We did however, have their brisket, honey hot wings, fries, and their cheesesteak, all that we enjoyed. I also have an obsession with pickles and I loved their pickles, along with the selection of BBQ sauce being available. Not sure if I'd want to come again due to the location but the environment was nice - there were TVs around the building if you arrive during a football game but a good spot to go to! We went after a day of shopping at King of Prussia Mall.
