I have not returned to Chico Hyundai!! The lady behind the counter I forgot her name ... not memorable at all so rude . I left my car over night but they had not touched it since 5 am that morning. Stated I didn't have an appointment even the woman whoo booked the appointment sat there and said nothing knowing she made the appointment. I gave the benefit of the doubt and made another appointment. Looked at my car all day !?? had me sign the paperwork the car is ready too go she says and then says you have an oil leak but didn't fix it and sent me away. Idiots. Don't like the games or the way things always seem to change during the deal, never in my favor However, yesterday July 21 the wife and I stop by Chico Hyundai. We went in there to take a look at some of the vehicles out there. I'd read a lot of reviews and a lot of good things said about Hyundai. I was greeted by gentleman by the name of Ivan. Ivan came out and assisted my wife and showing us the vehicles we were interested in, We negotiated the sale of one of their 2024 Tucson Limited. Prior to when we sat down I told him I don't want any nonsense. I'll give you one shot to make me a deal and we go from there. Ivan took that shot and he was right on the money, wasted not a minute of my time cut me a deal I couldn't refuse He treated me like an intelligent consumer which I found incredibly surprising. Everyone in the dealership was very service oriented, polite, and in a hurry to service any and all of my questions or needs. Spent close to $30,000 here and yet when I go to get my oil changed at this dealership the service department is extremely rude and unprofessional. I was greeted at my APPOINTMENT today with NO greetings at all. I got to awkwardly say hello to the angry fellow up at the front desk, who clearly did not want to acknowledge me or be there. The last 4 visits have been awful and untrusting. Three visits prior to the fourth awful visit, I signed a form that shows the multi-inspection as good, only to come out to a dead vehicle, have me resign another form for that same matter. The service advisor, Logan C., advised me that the person working there previously in his position is no longer there and has moved to another state, so I will not need to worry about bad customer service. My concern is that my vehicle is not getting properly serviced and mistakes are being made. I have called back multiple times to get an update, but no returned call. Today, when I spoke with the same advisor, I mentioned that you were on a recorded line. Calling and asking questions about my vehicle is something that I am fearing to do. So, my Kia Soul CEL (check engine light) came flashing on and my info screen said I needed to seek immediate attention...or something close to that. Beings I was relatively close to Hyundai and knowing the nearest Kia is 40 miles away, I pulled in. I have to say these folks were swamped, yet Remi took the time check my CEL, get my VIN #, and to call Kia in YC to get clarification on my personal situation. All of them were beyond kind, but Remi's name is the only one I got and I'm hoping I'm spelling it correctly. This review is for Chico Hyundai Auto Sales; after reviewing their web page I contacted them for information on a car in their inventory. They explained while it was on their website it had been sold to someone that had been waiting 5 months this weekend. That they just got it in and contacted the person and sold it. I would suggest that since the car was not available for purchase to the public it was pretty sleazy to post it having no intention of it being available for someone to buy it. Sure, supply is tight but what a sleazy business practice to show the car as available when it had been promised supposedly over 5 months earlier to someone else. I like the Hyundai cars but having spoken to Taylor at the dealership I would not be doing business with these guys ever. They should be more ethical and not reflect ghost inventory wasting people's time. I plan on speaking to Hyundai Corporate as well. Why build a good car but have turkeys sell them for you? read more
