Finally tried Chiddy's fries! Though the place is small there is seating, the employees were very friendly and welcoming! There is a LOT of things to pick from on the menu!!!! Seems a lot more than what's on the website. I was after the fries, deep golden brown, not salty & very delicious. They did not disappoint my high expectations. I want to try some of their other items, so it looks like I'll be going back.

First time dining here, and it did not disappoint. If you haven't visited this establishment, you'll need to put on your gps because it's tucked in the corner of a small shopping center north of Jericho Turnpike. The eatery is small with only a few tables with dividers and some window seating. The menu, which is extensive, is written on the chalkboard on the left wall when walking in. We ordered two pretty traditional cheesesteaks with cheese whiz. Mine didn't have onions, not an onion fan, I know I know, not the popular opinion. We also ordered the large disco fries, which was HUGE! We should have gotten the small, it would have been plenty. Everything was delicious. The bread was great, enough filling. Would I add a bit more cheese next time, hmmmm maybe, but it was great either way. Fries were nice and crispy with all that topping. I'd like to try some of the other menu items next time and possibly another type of cheesesteak because there are sooooo many choices. The hotdog and mac and cheese might be on the "next time" menu for me.

We usually get food from the truck in Bay Shore but wanted to try one of the store locations since there are a ton of great options! We ordered two cheesesteaks, both with extra cheese and mine with garlic bread. While the cheesesteaks were stuffed with meat, both were insanely light on the cheese- weird, considering we'd paid extra for more. Mine was supposed to be on garlic bread and it wasn't, and honestly both cheesesteaks were really underwhelming. Absolutely no comparison to their truck in Bay Shore. I also ordered disco fries that, by the time the food arrived, were literally gross and completely inedible. Here's a picture of the cheesesteak I had that was supposed to have extra cheese. You can barely see cheese at all :(

Went into this cute little place. The menu was literally written on the wall with superb penmanship. We were greeted immediately and ordered our food to go, even though we ate in, knowing that there would be too much food. We had a coupon for 2 cheesesteaks and 2 sides for $30, which made the deal absolutely worth it. Cheesesteaks start at $14. But oh so yummy for the tummy

My wife and I were driving to have a Greek salad for our Saturday afternoon lunch, come to find out the Greek place moved across the street and in its place is Chiddy's Cheesesteaks?? We've been on a cheesesteak kick since having a really good sammy in Atlantic City. I said, let's get some whiz in our bellies baby! Walking in the sandwich shop, it's designed to have a food truck feel. The entire menu is on the entire left side of the wall. Lots of great choices, I want to keep it simple so I'm choosing the Original Chiddy's Cheesesteak. This is a hell of a sandwich! Nothing beats a warm sandwich with thinly sliced beef and topped with warm, oozing cheese. First time here and we enjoyed what we ordered. The Chiddy brand is expanding, hopefully there's more to come in Suffolk County. I wish I had something Philly to scream other than: Yo Adrian!

Cheesesteak was decent. I like that there's cheese Wiz on it so I can live out my fat boy desires. Place kinda small inside so I'm assuming it's better for take out. I would like to try more things on the menu so that's the reason for 3 stars. Overall wasn't a bad meal for something quick

As a frequent flyer of Chiddy's cheesesteaks in farmingdale, I obviously had to give the Commack location a try - and it did not disappoint. Are you not drooling by looking at the pictures of the food I included in this review? Because all I want is more Squealin' Fries (bacon and cheese fries). My go to order is always a custom cheesesteak because I'm a plain Jane with toppings - ribeye steak, with wiz and that's it. I think next time I will add the chipotle aioli sauce to my custom cheese steak though and a small squealin fries. With your meal you get a complimentary canned soda which I think is quite nice. Shout out to Evan for great customer service! I tried the apple pie empanada and it was delish! I'm usually not one to order a full meal and dessert when eating out unless it's a special occasion but it soooo good and I'm glad I took Evans suggestion to try it out. This is the best cheesesteak place on Long Island. So you better check it out!

I was looking for a Reuben sandwich today for lunch and while there is no shortage of delis around the area, Capriotti's popped up on my feed and got me curious. Their Capastrami sandwich in particular got my attention as it was basically what I was looking for at a reasonable price. Overall I was very pleased with the sandwich, the pastrami, Russian dressing, Swiss cheese and coleslaw on a hero is nothing all that new, but the flavors are better than others that I've tried before. Would recommend if you're in the area, the hot sandwiches they offer are in fact hot and not merely lukewarm so that was a nice bonus. The interior of the store was clean and staff was friendly when I came to pick up my order. From what I gather, their best known sandwich is the Bobbie, which is basically Thanksgiving dinner in sandwich form. I definitely plan on trying that the next time I'm around. (Photo taken after I ate half the sandwich and before I posted this review)

I asked one of the waitresses his name as I was leaving. He was so polite dealing with the customers around me as I was waiting. I was astonished how someone could be so pleasant, especially in the evening dealing with all those customers. He even asked if he could carry out my food, as busy as it was. I don't usually write reviews unless the person is exceptional and this gentleman showed every aspect what a great assistant manager should be like. We need more people like him in the service industry.

Next round we ordered a vodka soda with a little cranberry and a vodka lemonade, this time I made it a point to ask if those were included and he said yes. We also ordered a small pizza and a flatbread that had artichoke. Both were good, nothing special. Fun place to hang out for happy hour!

As of today the truck has been in business for 8 weeks. You walk up, order and wait for your food. Food takes about 20 minutes and everything is made to order. I wanted to try the pulled pork sliders but they were sold out so I had their cheesesteak instead and got some cheesy tator tots on the side. The tots were smothered in liquid cheese, in a creamy sauce with a hint of pepper that did not overwhelm the cheese taste. They were nice and crispy too. The cheesesteak was great. Sliced meat cooked to perfection with onions and cheese melted into the soft bun. It just needed some sliced roasted bell peppers on it but regardless, the sandwich was great. The bread was nice and fresh. I paid $16 for both items and split the sandwich with a coworker because it was huge. The tots I kept for myself and eat them until I had a stomachache. They have breakfast too but I'm always running late to work so I am unlikely to try that anytime soon. Typical egg sandwich's.
