The transmitter attached to my car's battery broke and the bolt was so corroded that it would not come off easily. The lower control arms, front struts and rear shocks on my 2001 BMW 740iL needed replacing. Chief Mobile Mechanic came highly recommended by a friend who had used their services on multiple occasions. Even though I live about 1.5 hours away from his service area I decided to head his way and it was well worth the drive! The parts I purchased came disassembled, making the already notoriously difficult job even more tedious and time consuming. Swapping out the rear shocks on the E38 requires removal of the entire rear seat, seatbelt and speakers in order to access the bolts. Ali had to manually compress the coils into the shocks/struts, adding the mounts and stoppers, all while having to disassemble the old shocks to take parts which were missing from the kit I had ordered (thanks ECS Tuning :/ ). Cut a long story short, Ali and his son did an incredible job; my car rides like a dream! Not only that, but they did everything in less than a day and for a very reasonable price. All about the "CAP" This might take awhile, but so worth reading... Back on Jan/2021 I hired a mobile mechanic because I needed an Oxygen sensor replaced in my 2005 Honda Accord EX; ended up changing Spark Plugs, starter, air filter, thermostat, cabinet filter serpentine belt, thermostat and water pump (Again all I outreached for was a sensor) He convinced me of all these things I needed. I did mention my car had started heating up and I thought it was because of weather the prior year, this is how we got to all these additional items. Poof, done $$$$ later... On Apr/2021... Here we go again, contacted mechanic and told him I was still heating up and I was stranded at In N out with smoke coming out of my car engine hood, he came out and brought a Honda Cap which I paid him for and off I went and ended up changing Spark Plugs, Radiator, Radiator fans, transmission oil flush, Power steering oil flush, replaced hoses and well.... Poof, done $$$$ and then again.... June/2021I called him yet again against my husbands wishes and informed him I was stranded in Costa mesa and my car was over heating. This time, my texts went unanswered, This was the end. So I just bought myself another Honda cap and stocked myself with 50/50 coolant and that is how i traveled. In July/2021 my car was overheating now even sooner than before and it limited me in distance and I broke down again around the block of my house (THANK GOD). I've had it...we went and just bought another car but still determined to keep my old Honda I just took it to the dealer, again not something my husband wanted but you know, I feel maybe we should have done this since day one. NOW HERE!!!! on Sept/2021 I paid $168 for my cars diagnostic in regards to the over heating, mind you I never had a check engine on. They came back telling me I had 3 leaks in my cooling System and it would be a pretty hefty $2,113.40 Estimate to replace what they recommended as the entire cooling system hoses. Then, they will check to see if I damaged any of my heads... OK... at this point, i went home and after much venting to my neighbors or anyone that listened to me, I had a neighbor recommend Ali, her trust worthy mechanic she had worked this for years, mind you she is in her 70's and puts all her trust here. So ok, I will call. He came over today Sept. 24, 2021, $65 diagnostic, here we go again.... within a min, not more just 1 min, he called me over and said do you have your original cap, I proceeded with the story of no, and he said your radiator is a 1999 radiator. I WAS SHOCKED!!!! I then told him all that had happened, so here is a 1999 Cap that he was nice enough to go get for me, I am working from home and I could not just go. Long and behold, the 1999 cap fit the radiator. I was so upset but listened to him and I asked and HOW DID THIS HAPPEN... well the old mechanic failed and noticing they gave him the wrong radiator, then he failed at catching why the cap was such a hard fit and instead of questioning it just shaved the radiator top down and made it fit. I took it to dealer and they missed it. Wanted $2,000 + to change something that was never an issue. (TO BEGIN).... Ali had my car running since 9:15 - 10:30 and 2 trips to freeway and 1 exit and still on and NOTHING. My car pressure was fine and Ali stated that means no leaks, and no leaks on cap and no over heating NOTHING!!!!! a $10 CAP.... Ali saved me over $2,000 A CAP!!!! to an incorrect radiator. Thanks to him I will now go back to Honda Dealer and insist I get my $168 back for a fault diagnostic, I have no leaks, show me the leaks or give me my money back. The radiator, the mechanic, i quit. Ali explained it is ok as is for now, it might or might ot wear out in time because the other mechanic shaved down the radiator lock. I will wait for I might just UGH that other mechanic and it is just not worth any more of my stress. I am very grateful to honest mechanics that really do care and cherish and take pride in their occupation! I highly recommend you put your trust in Ali... he truly has earned my respect in just 1 min!.
