I happened to ask my friend who did his brakes and he mentioned Abraham. I texted Abraham and asked for a quote for replacing the brakes and rotors. He responded promptly, asked for the year, make and model of the car and what city I'm in. He gave me a more reasonable price than what I had been hearing from the mechanic shops. He asked that I purchase the parts and let him know when I did so I could set up an appt (makes sense because I'm sure he doesn't want people taking up appointments when they don't even have the parts). Excuses, excuses, excuses Excuse 1: I tried to reach out to him on yelp, he said "the message never came through, I reset yelp" how do you reset yelp completely? Excuse 2: I tried to book an appointment with him and he had responded at 10:22 pm at night to set the appointment for the following day for 1-2 PM, I immediately responded the following morning at 7:30 am to confirm and didn't hear from him, until I reached out again at 10:30 and he had responded, "do you have a garage or tent? It will be hot and take a long time" I responded yes, I have a garage. His response was "I'll keep you posted on how the rest of the day goes" I thought we had confirmed a time for 1-2pm. He never made it that day afternoon after I blocked my afternoon for him as he stated he was running behind. Excuse 3: We set an appointment for the following week at 8:30am, I sent him the address later in the week and his response was that he was booked for that day and he doesn't know when he'll get a new compressor. We had set the appointment earlier in the week and should of had me on the calendar. Not sure if he was being honest for his scheduling or just being flakey. This review is long overdue, as well as long, but better late than never. I called Abraham because I needed some repairs and replacements completed on a 2007 Lexus that I was selling. Abraham responded to my request for a quote within 30 mins as stated. I like the quoted price, so we arranged a date and time, and he called about 30 mins prior to arrival to say he was on his way. He accomplished the jobs we discussed in a very reasonable time and at the exact cost he quoted. But, because I still needed to complete some work on the oil pan, he couldn't start the car to test the repairs he had finished. At this point, I would venture to say that any other mechanic would never even start the job until the customer no longer had their hands involved in some other repair. Abraham took it all in stride, and explained exactly what I would need to do after I finished and to call him if there were any issues. This made me think that he was very confident in his work, and of course it was top notch. I was the one that lacked confidence in my repairs, and sure enough, I had to call him a couple of days later because I couldn't seem to get the air out of the power steering system, and there was a diagnostic code that required greater knowledge than mine. No problem for Abraham. He stopped by on his way home on a day off from being a mechanic. Even more impressive, his day off had been spent helping a friend move contents of an entire warehouse. It took him about an hour to clear the code and finish all other repairs and testing. No additional cost what so ever. In the not so distant past, a consumer could expect this quality or work, but today, it's hard to find in most businesses But, Abraham goes above and beyond. Abraham was open to any and all my stupid questions while he was working, whether related to what he was doing or some other part of the car. When was the last time you were allowed to stand next to the mechanic and ask questions? NEVER At this point, I'm extremely impressed with everything. But, what really blew me away, put the icing on the cake, or however you want to say it, was the fact that 3 weeks later while delivering the car to San Diego, I had some problems and had to pull off the road. Stranded in a Home Depot parking lot, I placed a call to Abraham. Although he was working some where here in Orange County, he returned my call and gave me some much needed advice. I actually had to call him three more times that night, with the final call around 8 p.m.. Abraham answered or returned every call. That's the kind of dedication and work ethic that's hard to find these days. As a 25+ year retired military officer, I was very impressed with this young man, his knowledge, skills, and work ethic are excellent. If you ever need a mechanic, call Abraham. He is polite and punctual, His prices are fair and his work is excellent. Even if your car runs and you could drive it somewhere, stay home and relax. Let Abraham come to you. Requested a quote to replace the front and rear brakes on my full size RAM pickup. Abraham was the quickest to repond, overall he was the most reasonable priced in comparison to other mobile mechanics that responded. He also did not have any issues with using the OEM parts I purchased online, which I did months of research on (hours & hours of google and youtube). While others tried up selling me and giving me the ol song and dance... blah, blah, blah - those are the one you should watch out for!
