Took my car in and left it and within a hour was sent a text about the estimate. Told them to go ahead and proceed with the repairs and got my car back within 4 working days. What I went in for: My car is an 09 R8 V8. Had a check engine light due to evap leak. I needed to renew my registration but needed to get it smogged. And while it's there I included an oil change. I also put on a new set of wheels with new TPMS and it didn't connect to the car. So I had them take a look at that as well. The process was a breeze. Had some work done on my car recently, when I got home, I noticed my front dashcam was disconnected on purpose from this shop. After reviewing footage, they purposely unplugged it right when they pulled it up to the service bay. I wouldn't trust this place for service if the first thing they do is unplug a dashcam. My service request was for them to check my brakes in my car due to a weird noise. My right wheel was making quality of the whole experience was very nice. They were fast and friendly. They went above and beyond to accommodate me. I also did a walk-in I called before going in and they were very nice on the phone as well, the value was worth it they do charge a fee to take a look at your vehicle which is not as bad as the other mechanics I called. I have a very good auto repair shop that I trust. Trust is everything when it comes to auto repairs. Especially when you have European vehicles. A recent visit to my regular shop with my low oil pressure light on revealed a situation that they weren't comfortable with. They didn't want to take a chance on misdiagnosis and costing me time and money that was unnecessary. So, they recommended Ronin Autowerks because they have deeper understanding and knowledge for BMW/MINI cars. Plus they have better scanning equipment for these and other Euro cars. I was able to get an early AM appointment within 2 days. After dropping the car off I had a call within 1 1/2 hours with a definitive cause for the warning light and cost for repair. It was about what I expected so I authorized the repair. They weren't certain that it would be completed within that same day but they were going to work on it and try. About 6 hours later I received a call that the repair was done and I could pick the car up that same day or the following, whatever would best for me. Amazing service!! I won't hesitate to use Ronin again when I need more technical repairs on my MINI. I couldn't be any more satisfied with the whole experience. read more
