We go to Chief's Place on a fairly regular basis as we live pretty close to it. The food is always great. We've never had an issue there. I only like roast beef if it is tender and shaved with no chewiness to it. This place has great roast beef just like any other restaurant that specializes in it. The food was ok thats about it. Prices are very high. We have ordered multiple times but he last one will do it for us. The staff is rude as they have always been. My last order the guy behind the counter was very very rude. We ordered and when we got there our order was lost. Ok, I am good, we can wait, well then for the second time I went in to ask about it they guy back there was still giving people that cam in before us their food. Just over the bridge in Penacook greatness looms. Every Item I have had from Chief's Place has surprised me in the nicest of ways. Simply put, they exceed your expectations. GENEROUS portions of extremely well prepared, damn fresh products. George and the gang get it. Start with the good ingredients add talent, effort and love and you get Chief's. Pizzas are made with a light, tasty and crunchy crust, with great cheese, moderately spicy savory sauce, and top shelf toppings. Subs are made your way every time exactly right. Fresh bread properly toasted if you like and with ingredients like their own roasted beef they make me happy. A small is 8 inches and the prices are very low in comparison to how happy your belly will be. They also have very good fresh broiled or fried seafood, To die for Steak tips and a mouth watering Gyro made just right. The only thing better than the food is the smile you get when you walk through the door. New and high mileage customers get a thousand watt smile and a sincere "How are you?" no matter the time of day or how packed they are. Place your takeout orders early gang. Simple order placed with a food allergy request. Unfortunately they couldn't get it right. The Greek salad was just ok, but its onion heavy and the Greek dressing is pink. I guess it's a mixture of several sauces?. I'd rather drive an extra 3 miles to kapellis. Service is great there and I've never had a messed up order. read more

Chief's is one of my go to restaurants, for anything I'm craving. They have the best pizza around, never disappoint any any sandwiches or subs and I love their salads, especially the chicken salad, salad. The veggies seem fresh and crunchy. They also have some great drink and dessert options. My son loves getting his simple grilled kids meal where he can choose to have bacon or tomato added. Overall, they are a wonderful place, run my the nicest people who serve the best food. Keep it up! You have customers for life! read more

Chiefs Place is the best place to eat in the Concord/Penacook area. If you live in Downtown Concord it is worth the 15 minute drive to get there. Not only do they have the best pizza in Concord (Not just an opinion, but voted so three years in a row), but you can also get a wide variety of food not normally associated with pizza places. I am a baked haddock fanatic, and have tried the haddock from every restaurant that serves it in the Concord area. Surprisingly this little pizza place does it the best. Absolutely the best. You can't beat their haddock dinner, which comes with twice baked potatoes (also great) or fries and coleslaw, for $11. That is not all they do well though. Anything you order from them is sure to surpass your expectations. You can be sure that you can order anything from a cheese pizza to a fried clam dinner and it will be well worth the inexpensive prices many times over. read more

We tried this for the first time last evening and were very disappointed. We got the combination clam/haddock plate. The haddock were "nuggets" and they were dry and had very little taste. The clams were better but the necks were very tough. The fries were also dry. The cole slaw was pretty good. We live a mile from Chefs and waited at the restaurant for our food and brought it directly home. The chowder was so lukewarm we had to heat it in the microwave and the rest of the food was a bit warmer but not hot. We wouldn't recommend this place for fish. read more

Its cheap and on my way home from work. Which is the only reason I used to go here. I will never return. My recent experience: Ordered over the phone, picked up food got home, easy enough. Nope. Food is wrong so I call in the cashier apologizes and said she had my food and she would get the owner to refund me. I weigh my options because its a round trip of half an hour to correct this. But she was trying to fix the issue so okay. I get there, staff kind of stares at me for a minute, the cashier offers me the food that I didn't order (because I brought it back) I say no thanks what am I going to do with two dinners I did not order. I wait for refund... NOPE. Manager pretended I wasn't there, so I was also lied to. Okay fine I take the food. Its a gallon of gas 3 bucks whatever. Get to the car and for minds ease sake check the food, hot food is cold, cold food is warm. Go back in tell her(cashier) she will refund my money, she does. I get to the car where the receipt was count the refund. It was a dollar short but really, if she couldn't read well enough to give me the correct food I cant really expect her to count either. I cut my losses. Honestly this used to be a decent place to eat though like another reviewer recently the food has gone down hill and well, there is obviously 0 customer service. read more

Best. Pizza. Ever. And the spicy fries...omg, they changed my life! (Though they are technically seasoned fries, not spicy but hell they're so good they can call them whatever they want!). This is definitely the most reasonably priced pizza place in the Penacook area. They have a small selection of bottled and draft beers which makes it the perfect place for a local cheap date. I never ordered from here before but drove by and was curious if it was any good. I was at a fundraiser out side Donnatello's and was about to order a pizza to take home but someone suggested Chiefs Place....said to have the "best pizza" anywhere, New York style. So I was curious about Chiefs and wanted to try it. Big Mistake...hate when I spend money and get soooo disappointed. Could of bought the ingredients at the supermarket and made it cheaper and better. Anyways, they have been voted the best pizza for the last three years...I think they are submitting all the votes...it was at best ok if that. I ordered Chicken Parm...l am a Chicken Parm. fanatic...this was GROSS.. the sause so gross the chix was bits of chicken I am thinking some sort of chicken fingers. Chicken Parm. is a whole chicken with great breading, deep fried and covered in an amazing sause... This was chix fingers in a spicy, nasty sauce (they need to taste the sauce before opening..just sayin) it was so gross. The mozzarella sticks had no taste, except for the mozarella, the breading was bland at best. The worst part was that I called it in 20 minutes prior, when I arrived I had to wait an additional 30 minutes to get my gross order. My son fell asleep in a chair while waiting...However I will add the staff was working it, very nice, pleasent, friendly and they all were running to get orders out...but that might be the mistake...you are sacrificing quality with quanity...I took a menu but put it in the garbage tonight... Chiefs Place has been crossed off my list, my money is too important to waste...sorry but I definately would not recommend.
