Wonderful little lunch stop! It was full of locals and regulars and on a wait for lunch. At that moment I knew I had picked a good spot! We chilled with the folks up front for a good bit before getting a table. It seemed we were the only people that had not been here 30-40 times before. Most people didn't even want menus and the sweet server ladies just brought them food without conversation at all. It's kind of old school feeling inside. It's an open kitchen and you can see all of the action. Inside is all wooden and rustic. It reminds me of my grandmas house in Camden TN. Not sure why. It's just really comfortable in here to me. The tile and fireplaces make super cozy. This place has some of the best chili that I have had in a long time. I dig the fact they give tortilla shops automatically with the chili. Win!! Thick and meaty and oh so filled with spice and love!! Cheese on top was a nice touch too. Really liked it! My French dip was fucking killer!! So damn big too! I could only eat half of it because of the the fire ass chili I had already eaten. French fries were battered type. Nothing wrong with that!! I drove around with this sandwich for two days of travel and ate it on the road later. Stupendous French dip!! C had an open faced roast beef sandwich. FIRE!! The green beans were so pretty and fresh too. She could barely get 1/3 down, lol. It was a ton of food. Economical! Hometown feel! Good people working and eating here! I love it!! Have I never reviewed this gem??? It's one of my favorite places to go. They have amazing gluten free options. I get the French dip with the house fries and a delicious gluten free roll. My boyfriend tries different things. He likes the colossal, French dip and said the bbq platter was good. The meat is nice and red. Prices are great, food is fantastic, waitstaff is awesome too! We recently had a burger from Beefside. Burger itself was decent, but fries are below par. No seasoning, and there appears to be some kind of coating on them, which adds to the crunch. Just an odd flavor, and it could be the oil. We have had breakfast, roast beef, and the Reuben in the past and all were good. Hoping this was a one off. We meet with friends last week at Beefside which was a first for us. Laura had a burger and I had the brisket bomb, essentially a steak bomb sub made with beef brisket. The burger was made the way she wanted it (almost rare) with regular fries and my sub came with sweet potato fries. My one complaint on the brisket was the sauce was very ho-hum. My wife found her fries a bit meh but my sweet potato fries were very good.Our waitress was prompt and very friendly. The place was busy since we were there for lunch. Noisy but not overwhelming. This place was literally so good, do not let the view of it mislead you. The items on the menu literally speak for themselves, its as good as they sound. We just so happened to go at a slow hour but I was told this place can get packed. They have a to-go counter when you first walk in that most people apparently do, but my family preferred to sit. It's definitely a small town restaurant but they do their food so good. Sat with 4 different family members and everyone said that their food was a 5/5. Our server was super patient with us (we took forever to decide). My ONLY complaint is that they don't offer a hot lobster roll with butter..I was hoping that the lobster was made per order, or at least not pre-mixed with mayo even though only a cold option is listed on the menu, but I was in fact wrong. Thoroughly enjoyable. I opted for the Giant with the $1 add-on for cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo. The sandwich was size-able, the roast beef was tender and flavorful. I cut it in half and devoured the sandwich. I also ordered a side salad with sole blue cheese dressing. The dressing was surprisingly good! Solid blue cheese flavor, thick. I did enjoy the steak tips a bit more as they smothered them with mushrooms, onions and green peppers if you ask them to. I was hoping for more of a gravy type sauce, but not the case. Service was great, very friendly, everything has been fast not having to wait/very efficient. The parking lot always seems to be full. I would go back because their menu is so extensive. I was driving down from Montreal to come to Nashua and had planned a lunch stop in this area. I joined a Facebook group all about New Hamsphire eats and Beefside was often recommended. The menu and concept seemed simple enough. When we arrived around lunch time on Monday December 18th, the place was already packed. This is a quaint, small town restaurant with a homey feel. There is a take out counter, otherwise a few tables if you want to dine in. I tried the famous roast beef sandwich and my partner got the "BBQ Beef Brisket Bomb" sandwich served with fries. For a place that is well know for their beef - we were both disappointed in the flavor of the sliced beef. It was not seasoned, had very little flavor, it was quite bland. It was tender and shaved thinly, which had a good mouthfeel, but the bbq brisket did not like taste like smoky bbq at all. It kind of tasted like unseasoned boiled or braised beef unfortunately. Perhaps it was just the cut we got, but it really needed some extra fat and salt. Luckily, for my roast beef sandwich, I paid the extra to have cheese, mayo, tomato and lettuce. This made a huge difference otherwise the beef alone would be very boring. Price wise and portion - this was perfect for lunch. I just wish the beef had more flavor. There are tons of great reviews about this place on here and Google, so it would be worth another shot. read more

Really enjoyed their Giant roast beef sandwich ($10.50) The portion of meat was 6oz and it was tender, but I loved the bun it was in! It tasted like a more buttery Martin's potato roll. So good. I then tried some of what my mom got, a small order of chicken bits ($8.50). I did not expect the chicken meat to be so white and juicy. I've been wanting to try the breakfast here for quite awhile and finally had the chance when I ended up in Concord with my dad on a Monday morning. Since then I came once more with my husband. If you haven't tried it you need to. As always the staff here is friendly and the restaurant is clean. I love the decor because it makes you feel comfortable when you're not dressed up. It has a very casual cozy feel. I tried the hungry jack breakfast the first time. I was a little disappointed because they wouldn't allow a substitute of French toast in place of pancakes. I thought it was odd especially considering pancakes are more expensive than French toast on the menu. The second time I simply just ordered French toast and got bacon on the side. The pancakes are huge! Don't order the hungry jack unless you're really hungry or have someone beside you to secretly drop food on like I did. The French toast is great and the bacon crispy. I loved everything about the breakfast. My husband especially loved the large juice glass and the fact that they freeze the glasses and the juice stays cold. Breakfast is awesome here and I hope to get in again soon. Lunch here is very good too. I have yet to try the roast beef sandwich but it looks amazing. Myself I usually go for the seafood. The boats here are so filling and so good! I love the haddock boat. They know how to cook seafood herd and they don't overpower the delicate flavors with weird spices. Also the fish is very fresh. Whether you are here in time for breakfast or lunch you won't be disappointed. (Unless you want a big breakfast with French toast lol). Despite the fame for beef, we sampled the fried haddock sandwich and seafood chowder. Both were impeccable and oh so delicious. The fish was a very large portion of a fillet, delicately battered and served on a nicely toasted and generously sized bun. The battered-style fries complimented the meal. The chowder was very rich, thick, and chock full of flavor and busting with fresh seafood. I was delighted to discover melt-in-your mouth scallops in the chowder, along with all the other expected fixings. While the beer selection was small and standard we were able to sample a local IPA which went well with the meal.
