ABSOLUTELY MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I bought a Groupon for two pedicures here. I went for the first one, and the girl laid the stupid polish on so incredibly thick and chunky that it literally NEVER dried and I had to go straight home and remove it and paint my own toes. Then, yesterday I called to make an appointment for my second pedi and they inform me that their "Groupon girl" had a family emergency and had to leave for "awhile" so they can't honor my second pedi! Of course they marked it redeemed with the first one, so Groupon won't help me because as far as they're concerned we used it, and they lady took my paper copy when I was there last so I don't even have proof that I had it in the first place! I was completely and utterly screwed over by these stupid women and I certainly hope you avoid the same fate! read more

My husband and I had treatments at Chiffon this past week. We both were very very satisfied with the look of the business, the cleanliness, and the overall atmosphere. Lauren helped us book both of our treatments over the phone and she was just so professional and nice. I scheduled a facial that I had purchased through Groupon and my husband scheduled a massage. We were treated like friends from the moment we walked in - to the moment we left. Alex did my Perisian facial and hand treatment and I LOVED it! I am not sure who did my husband massage but he too was pleased. After my facial Lauren offered me a complimentary Bare Minerals color match/ make up session. I was short on time and already use Bare Minerals so I declined. I never felt pressured to buy anything which was nice. I even did my make up there before leaving and never felt rushed. Very happy with my experience here. I wanted to cut my hair short and was referred to Amanda by a friend. Amanda was accommodating and fit me in the day I called. She did a fantastic job on my hair. My wife Candace booked Chiffon for her bridal hair and her maid of honor's hair. Since our wedding was a brunch, they actually opened up the salon at 6 am just for them. Tiffany is talented and somehow got her stick straight fine Asian hair to hold beautiful curls. My friend and I got massages at Chiffon a week ago! We spent our bday weekend in Solvang and thought....hey why not treat ourselves to some massages.... while doing some googling, Chiffon was most recommended and the reviews were good! I got the Swedish massage from Shireen, and my friend got Amanda for the deep tissue massage. They were both AMAZING!!!! Everyone was super friendly! This place is fantastic. Kristian gave me an awesome deep tissue massage. She really focused on the areas that were tight and was able to loosen up a lot of tight muscles. I have had several massages and this one was by far the best I have ever had. She is very knowledgeable with how the body works and was able to provide me with some stretches that should help keep my back and hamstrings loose and relaxed. I will be back! read more

WOW! I cannot say enough good things about all the girls at Chiffon! I got married in the SY Valley last weekend. They did my make-up/hair, 2 bridesmaids and my moms hair. Everyone looked AMAZING! My experience started off with Lauren. She was always readily available to answer phone calls (which I made a lot of) and made the appointment making process as simple as possible!!! I went on the Wednesday before the wedding for my trial run. I was greeted by Lauren and she was just as charming in person as she was on the phone! Amanda did my hair (super quick too!) and Alex did my make-up. Both Amanda and Alex were so comfortable to be around. They made conversation and made me feel at ease about them being my stylist. On the day of the wedding they had a welcome sign with my name on it (SO CUTE!) We got right to work and all 4 of us were done in 3 hours. The shop is small but super cute and gave a much more personalized feel. We were also kept refreshed with cold drinks, which was an excellent bonus! Thank you Chiffon for all your hard work! I came in to town for a family emergency and after a very stressful week I was referred to Chiffon. My aunt said Kristian was wonderful but I couldn't have imagined how wonderful a therapist could be. She worked out some painful areas but was sensitive to my need for calming stress relief, a perfect balance! I left feeling refreshed, not in pain and ready to regroup and shake all my worries off. The spa is adorable and I was excited to find out that Kristian was the new owner because now I know she will always work there and I won't loose this amazing therapist! Our reserved a massage appointment for my wife. I was thrilled that i was going to surprise her on our weekend getaway. Then an un expected accident happen with my son's car that I had to change my whole plans. The money I save for this weekend had to be put on this accident. I called the owner Tori(that was nice when booking the appt) and told her what happen. She claimed she has a 24hr cancellation which I was not told about it when booking. Anyways I called in 30minutes after the 24hr and she wanted to charge me the amount. I told her no and she lowered it to $25. I understand policies, but things happen and if this is how you need to make your money then you are wrong. read more

My boyfriend booked a massage for me so that I could unwind and de-stress during our stay in Solvang. I work at a computer 8 hrs a day, 5 days a week. I have a lot of neck, upper back and shoulder strain and it had begun to give me daily pain. My massage therapist was Joy. She asked me if I wanted a relaxing massage or a therapeutic massage. I told her a little of both. And then she started to work on me. My whole upper body was out of place, she did her own special technique of massaging, stretching and easing my shoulders back to where they should be. She began with my left arm/shoulder and when she finished, my left side was noticeably lower than my right! Then she worked on my right (the worse side). She did a full body Massage (1 hour) including my spine, hips, legs. She seemed to know where all my pain was just by feeling the tension in my body. Joy gave me the best massage I've ever had in my life! I woke up today, pain free, so relaxed and loose. I haven't felt this amazing in a very long time. I wish I could see Joy for her therapeutic massage twice a month! Whenever I go back to Solvang I've promised myself that I will return to chiffon add see Joy - I already can't wait to convince my boyfriend for another wine tasting trip just so I can get her amazing massage! read more

WORST MAKE-UP EVER!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! We were staying at the Hotel Corque for a Wedding and they recommended this place. The woman could not do basic eye make-up, didn't do any lipstick, had no fake lashes, and caked on the foundation so badly, I had to go to Secret Garden salon to have it re-done... $45 down the drain. read more

Chiffon Boutique & Spa is the ideal place to throw a bridal or baby shower. I recently had a baby shower for my sister at this venue and it was absolutely adorable. Since the interior was already so well designed we hardly had to buy any decorations, and the staff was very helpful and energetic. Also, the boutique's products and merchandise were proudly displayed for our guest's pleasure. This gave everyone something to do during our "in-between" moments. THIS PLACE GIVES YOU THE HARD SELL!!! I had a lovely facial here from a gal named Alex. She did a wonderful job and I felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated. After the massage I was informed that part of the massage included a foundation application. I was sent out to the front room and the girl running that part of the spa proceeded to apply all kinds of make-up on my face that I didn't want after my facial and went on and on about how great this stuff was, how much it all costs and why I really needed it. I'm never dissapointed with their selection or outstanding customer service. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. I scheduled a 60 minute massage and though the masseuse was pleasant, she continued to talk throughout most of the hour. As a result, she wasn't focused and the pressure of the massage was very inconsistent; she even neglected the entire upper portion of both legs--stopping at the knee.
