Came as a walk in and got helped immediately. Front girl/masseuse was very friendly. However, massage was prob one of the worst I've gotten lol. It was actually impressive the amount of tensions spots missed. Asked for no oil, got completely covered in oil. Masseuse seemed like she barely knew what she was doing. You know when it just feels like rubbing on skin? Thats exactly what about half the massage felt like. After spending 20 min in the bathroom rubbing oil off my body, I somehow left with more knots than I came with. Shame because the space is so beautiful and nice, as well as staff. Ambient music is light and relaxing. Make sure you communicate the firmness of the massage you need, and let them know if you have any injuries or sensitivities. This place is great! Very clean, relaxing, and they were able to book a next-day appointment. Many other places I've asked for "deep pressure" and have either had to keep asking to increase the pressure throughout the session or resigned myself to a meh massage. My experience today was different! My masseuse, Vivi, was so strong (I love this!) and checked in on how I was doing at the perfect times throughout the session. Zen used to be my favorite place for a massage but it has really changed. Prices keep creeping up, it's harder to make appointments, they keep you waiting, cancel appointments last minute, sessions start late and end early but prices stay the same, masseuse will step out of the room for 10 or 15 minutes and you wonder if she'll come back. They don't seem so interested in providing good service but demand large tips. Staff chatter away with each other and yell back and forth across the shop which makes it hard to relax. They've gotten so cheap you can barely get a sip of water at the end of a session. The worst change for me is how the place e no longer sleeps clean or kept-up. The shop smells funky and I get an odd feeling they aren't washing towels and stuff between clients. When I left I felt dirty and couldn't wait to get home and shower. I've been a really loyal customer too but that seens to not make any difference. Don't think I'll be going back. read more

The room was clean and I liked how they did not charge extra for hot stones. The problem was more toward the end of our service when we were paying and the lady at the front said, "you just pay and leave tip". I assumed that tip was optional (we were obviously going to anyway) but we paid in cash and she looked at us and said, "that's it?" And then proceeded to look at us as if she didn't want us there anymore. This exchange made us extremely uncomfortable. Even more, we stood there while they spoke in a different language for five minutes holding the cash and then dismissed us. read more

The first time I went I got a Swedish massage but the massage tables aren't the most comfortable for me personally however the masseuse was very good. They took me in as a last minute appt, open late which was cool, but that's kind of where it ends. I've been to a few AMPs, they can be very hit or miss, this wasn't bad, wasnt great. It was ok. No music played. The neck and leg massage was great but the bulk of the massage was the back and there was no technique to get knots out. It was just aggressive rubbing like when you ask your husband for a massage and he doesn't want to. I think it was probably just a really long day and i think she was tired. I'm going to try to find a place tomorrow that can work out these kinks i have. Also, i tried to leave a $6 tip cause it wasnt a great massage but she did try but the tip isn't "appreciated ", the tip is mandatory $20. So a 90min massage is not 80, it's 101, which you can get a real trained masseuse for at a wellness center. All in all, pricey for what you get. read more

The room was very dewy and was nothing special. Even if you added roses and champagne this room and it's placement logistically was very misleading from the yelp photos. Highly Recommend! I came here on Mother's Day to surprise my mom with a foot massage and she loved it! It was really like a full body massage seating up. They started out massaging the arms while your feet soak in hot water. Then they massage your feet and arms then they turn you around and have you sit on the ottoman and they massage your shoulders and back. It's like a mini full body massage sitting. Called weeks in advance to book massages for a bachelorette party and was so happy when they could accommodate us since a lot of places have limited capacity due to covid. I called the day before to confirm and even called the day of to confirm again. We arrived early for our 2pm reservation and they kept us waiting until well after 2pm. At 2:20pm I receive a call from them (weird since I was sitting inside) saying they are running late. At this point we needed to cancel because we had other things planned and were not expecting to be starting our massage so much later than scheduled. Very disappointed. They even took someone in who arrived later than us (and after 2pm!) who also had a 2pm reservation claiming it was because she was only one person and we were a group. Happy to say that this experience was really REALLY good!! Rarely am I satisfied with foot massages. But I must say this was wonderful! I came in June 2020 during their recent reopening for Covid-19. They are currently accepting clients with chronic pain, but not yet open to the public. I came for shoulder pain, and the lady masseuse was able to give me a great massage with the perfect intensity. There was a slight language barrier since the workers speak limited English, but I still got a great and relaxing massage regardless. Their prices are very reasonable too! read more

My partner was the one who went to visit this business, because they have had many physical problems over the years. They read reviews and gave it a try. The outstanding reviews for this business do not hold up. I could not be more disappointed in a so called "professional message"--This place is highly unprofessional and inexperienced in messaging clients. Their lack of communication skills left my partner fleeing the building before the message was over because the woman began inappropriately reaching too close to their most private area. My partner was so uncomfortable they were embarrassed and confused. A therapist should always check in with there client to make sure they consent to such a "deep" tissue massage. My partner had spoke to me immediately afterward very upset and they honestly wanted to forget all about it. AMAZING! I found them through SB Axxess and was able to book a massage just a few hours in advance, and online! I went in unable to move my neck in any regards. My masseuse, I believe her name was Mia, was phenomenal. By the time I left, I was able to rotate my neck a few inches in every direction (trust me, this was huge!). In the process of adjusting my neck, she actually worked out some major kinks in my neck/shoulder area that were causing extreme carpal tunnel like symptoms. What I really loved about this place was the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the friendliest smile and the host immediately knew I couldn't move my neck. She told me the shiatsu/deep tissue would be best for my symptoms and suggested I end it with hot stones. It was awesome that they allowed me to personalize my massage.
