I wish Dr. Tsai was a general doctor or maybe that more general doctors were like him. Very attentive and thorough in explaining the problem and how I could make the issue better. For just being a 2 person operation, things run exceptionally smooth and his receptionist/assistant/nurse(apologies for not remembering your name)deserves a lot of credit too. Dr. Tsai used to be part of another medical group, but he's on his own now. I am happy because now he has staff and room to see his own patients! I first took my son to have his ingrown toenail procedure done with Dr. Tsai after the pediatrician screwed up. It came back again on the left big toe after two months. We like Dr. Tsai because he was funny and made my son feel at ease. He didn't cry, too. I also came back to have him check on my right heel pain. He made me a custom hard insert. Been wearing it since and my heel pain is slowly going away. Dr. Tsai also told me to stretch and told me a lot about my shoes. I came here for a life-long ingrown toenail issue. I've been to many different doctors about this issue and have had them removed on numerous occasions. Each time was more grueling than the last...I shiver just thinking about it. After suffering many years later, I began my research and found Dr. Tsai. With much reluctance, I made an appointment. He instantly was able to calm my nerves and begin to explain how and why ingrowns happen, as well as informing me on proper foot wear and nail cutting techniques. Since this has been a chronic issue for me, he suggested we do a permanent removal which entailed cutting out the ingrown and applying an acid that would kill the root so no nail would grow on the sides of my toe. I can't even describe how gentle this doctor was with me! On each step he descriptively explained what he was doing and reassured me that the procedure was nearing an end. He's a great Doctor, I met him at Dr Tepper's office and once he left I had a heck of a time finding him along with other patients ... He's knowledgeable and elaborates on all the info needed when it comes to his patience's. Your foot issues, insurance issues and educates you the best he can... My father is a diabetic and has educated us on that issue too. Other Doctors give you limited info... He truly is out for his patiences best interest. Took me a while to find Dr. Tsai again. He was working in Upland before, but is now on his own. Seems like his old boss dont want people to find out that he's gone. Had to call the state to find him because everything online is still showing him at the old place. In my opinion, he's literally the best foot doctor in the Inland empire and has the patience to take care of my elderly mom. I have taken her to other podiatrists in the IE, but all of them like to make us wait a long time (1 hr+) and spends less than 10 min with us. If your elderly parents are diabetic, go see Dr. Tsai. He will take care of them like his own parent. He's funny. He listens. He is gentle. He educates us about the problem. My mom thinks he's the best thing since slice bread. I know that she's exaggerating, but when you had bad experiences with other foot doctors before, you are happy when you find a good one. My mom suffered a bad fall and sprained her ankle last July and torn her tendon. Initial X-ray / MRI didn't find any bone fracture. But dr. Tsai suspected there could be some hairline fracture, so finally we found it and immediately put her in a boot. The fall was a painful experience but we were really impressed by how caring, knowledgeable, and awesome Dr. Tsai was. We feel really blessed to have found such a great podiatrist!!! Went to see Dr. Tsai today. I actually remembered him few years back when my daughter was referred to their clinic then. He has good bedside manners and not pushy to have you spend on inserts if you don't need them yet. Since I needed a podiatrist urgently, did some research and called his office today. His staff, Maria was very nice and accommodating and got me in today. Had a pleasant experience going through a procedure. It was well explained and with gentle hands, whatever discomfort entailed this procedure, it was very minimal compared to previous experiences. Wow! If you have an ingrown toenail that is painful and needs to be taken out, you need to visit Dr. Tsai! I am such a baby when it comes to getting my ingrowns taken out. Ive always had super low pain tolerance so I was very scared to get the numbing shot but I was also ready for the pain because I was so excited to have my ingrown taken out. Dr. Tsai is so patient and explains everything in great detail and walks you thru each step. I had read so many reviews prior to my visit about the numbing shot and how painful it was and I was freaking out. Turns out, I was freaking out for no reason! If it wasn't for him telling me he was injecting the shot, I wouldn't even have realized the shot was in my toe already. He uses a cold spray all over the toe and then injects. I'm so glad I found him on yelp! Everyone's reviews are so spot on about him! Highly suggest visiting him to remove your ingrowns. read more

Im so glad I went to see Dr Tsai!, instead of picking a random clinic off groupon to treat a toe fungal infection. Dr Tsai was very courteous and took his time educating me on the do's and dont's of foot care that will benefit me or hurt me going forward. His advise will help me keep my feet healthy and pretty! Went in today on a Saturday not knowing what to expect. The lovely young lady at the front desk was so polite and a pleasure to speak with. I take my Mom to see Dr. Tsai. When my Mom moved into the area and I had to find a podiatrist for her, I thought we'd have to settle for a mediocre doctor because I previously saw just about all of the local podiatrists for my own foot problems and didn't care for any of them. I was so relieved to find Dr. Tsai and my Mom loves him. It's easy to get an appointment with him and his staff is always very friendly. He is never rushed and spends a lot of time with us. He is truly caring and seems genuinely interested in his patients. In the past, every doctor I went to pushed their brand of orthotics on me and put down the ones a previous doctor had made. My Mom also wears orthotics and Dr. Tsai examined them and said they looked good and didn't try to sell us new ones.
