Came pretty early on a Friday after work. The place was under half full or at least felt like it because it's so spacious. The workers know their customers. Even commenting on how one hasn't been by in a while. As for the food, my boyfriend's was better than mine! My maki came out last but warm. They were still editable and I cleaned my dish of course. The spider roll wasn't really a wow factor. I'd skip that one. My boyfriend's fried rice was GOOD AS HECK. I'd probably just order a big bowl of it next time. We share crab ragoons, they aren't cheap with the filling so that was a nice surprise! The space is very clean and they have a full bar it seems. With about 6-8 beers on tap. I think this is the only "bar" in the area. They should get a pool table or some kind of pay to play entertainment with all the space they have! I can see it becoming a full on bar

This place has some really great reviews, from the food to the service. Unfortunately that was not my experience. I'll start with the service. The waitress was obviously new, and that's ok, but you can at least be friendly. I came in at lunch time and ordered the sushi bento. She asked me what kind of sushi I wanted, I was under the impression it was a set deal, so I asked what my options were. She showed me a list of maki rolls. I told her that I wanted the sushi bento, not the maki bent. Her reply "Yeah, maki is sushi". Ok. But I want the sushi bento not the maki bento and I had to show her the difference on the menu. No laughing off the goof, or apology for her snotty response. She again asked me what sushi I wanted and then realized it was a set combo. It took a while to come out, there was only one other table occupied by two people, though it was the random week between Christmas and New Year. When it did come out, it was underwhelming. The bento comes with a gyoza and shumai, that have been fried. Neither one of these things were hot, or fresh. The sushi was just meh. The best thing on the plate was the salad. Maybe I will try it again, but not soon.

The food was good for sure. Nothing hit the mark and service was nice the girls were very sweet. What I will say is its VERY overpriced. Im quite upset about it. I spent $42 on one roll, combination fried rice ($18) and crispy fried rice with spicy tuna on it ? I mean seriously, the fried rice was what did me in. I've never seen such a SMALL container (which mind you was not filled up or anything, what you see of the container is exactly what we got, we didnt eat anything at all). Im writing this the day after we went and Im still mad about it. You're better off going to sushi axiom or pho v

Nice spot for some sushi. Went in at lunch and it wasn't too busy. The inside is large and super clean. I think I'll have to come by again and tryout some more options. Wasn't too hungry so a sushi roll sufficed for me. It was pretty good. My friends had some ramen though their comment was only that it was fine.

Y'all, I only took one photo (in the shadows of my home) of one piece of the sushi I had delivered today for dinner-- I've got to do better. I don't have much photographic evidence of how beautiful and delicious Chef's Special Maki "The Cherry Blossom" is, you'll just have to order it. It's spicy salmon (buttery with a bite), apple (a cold, tart, crunchy surprise), and tempura bits (like little garlic crispies) topped with seared tuna (velvety and cherry-red) and a sriracha aioli. Plus, each perfect piece sits a top a little pillow of wasabi-creme. The perfect combo of flavors and textures, and can't get over how good the roll was even after being delivered to my house and sitting in my fridge for an hour. The fish is just so clearly super fresh, and everything from the produce to the house-made sauces to the seaweed salad is top quality and beautifully presented. Even a delivery order. PS: Chihiro is able to make your order gluten free. Even the tempura! Even many of the sauces. They have tamari. It's so nice to have plenty of gluten free, vegan, veggie options available. Chihiro is always so accommodating and creative.

Came in late one night in the last hour, sat at the sushi bar with my friend and got amazing service. Had the octopus balls appetizer, tuna, smoked salmon, and the chef sent us some surprise freebies. The chef is nice and knowledgeable out of the northeast. Look forward to seeing what else he brings to the table. So glad to have a good sushi spot next to home read more

I never had such creative sushi before. The nutty chihiro, 777 heavy, the volcano with real crab meat, and the Euless (tuna, sea bass), and the tuna tataki. Steven the chef is someone to watch out for. Tara, Micheal, and Alex made my first experience here unbelievable! Thanks for a wonderful night. read more

My co-workers and I went here for lunch because of all the great reviews. We ordered the bento box. The chicken teriyaki had no sauce and tasted like bland chicken. My coworker had the tempura box it was terrible, she couldn't even eat it. I tried the Maki salmon skin box it wad okay added $1 cucumber salad which was less than 6 pieces. What a disappointment. My wife and I went here and had an excellent meal. We had a 2 Dragon Rolls, Shrimp Tempura Roll, and a California Roll and drinks from the bar. Rose was incredibly nice and very attentive. We received our food in an appropriate amount of time, upon ordering them. (We didn't order everything at once) My only complaint is that the black menu pages were very difficult to read in the dim room lighting. We were seated at a table in the middle of the restaurant, as opposed to the booths which had lighting on the wall. read more

The sushi was good. Overpriced but good. You know what wasn't good??? Having my overpriced sushi dinner being ruined by a man yell to another man across the restaurant about how he thinks Trump is right and we do need a wall. Because his wife who cleans houses has to compete with Mexican women who do it for cheaper. How he's not a racist because he's black and black people cant be racist... but we need a wall. I'm not even kidding. This is what I was listening to for about 20 min while TRYING and failing to enjoy my meal. The waiter and the staff while friendly did NOTHING to stop the yelling. Not one thing. I def won't be returning. I can get good sushi anywhere. read more

Without a doubt the best sushi we have had in the DFW area. Always very fresh and with an ever evolving menu there is something new to try. We lived in Euless when we found Chihiro and have since moved. We still will make the hour drive to Chihiro every chance we get. Steve and Rose are the absolute best! read more

CRAZY GOOD! I stopped in here for lunch and had the miso soup, house salad, coconut shrimp, a special roll called Aspect 17 I think, and the Euless roll, and they were all amazing! Super fresh, fast service, and unique flavors. So high quality and reasonably priced. Sarah was my server and she was great! Knowledgeable and helpful with the menu and she recommended Bear Creek Bistro right across the street owned by the same people! I can't wait to go back. This is now my favorite sushi joint ever!!! read more

Back here again! One day, I'll remember to snap a picture of my order. Spicy yellowtail is always a favorite but tonight we also got the volcano roll and it was ON POINT. I don't care for imitation crab but this place uses REAL crab, even on their California rolls. Everything was so good! Cute new restaurant with clean, minimalist decor- very trendy. The location is a bit odd but parking isn't a problem which is fine. I really enjoyed the rolls we go there and I'm usually not a big sushi roll gal. Fish cuts tasted fresh and sushi rice properly made. Good portions. A bit pricier by 2-3 bucks than some other places in HEB area but it's for better quality. Had takoyaki as well.... very small portions and not a round ball like it traditionally is. Decent amount of octopus, could be a bit crispier on the outside. Will definitely come back. read more

The service was excellent. The young man serving us was very prompt and friendly. However, I don't go to restaurants solely for the service. The food was a tad over priced for the portions. Sushi is generally expensive but the portion sizes were not comparable to other very good sushi places. The food and flavor was also kind of disappointing. I was not satisfied nor full after my 16 dollar meal. There is some work to be done at this place, so I'm not writing it off completely but as a first impression it was nothing great and I wish I had stayed loyal to my other sushi restaurants that night. read more

This is my new normal place to be the staff and the bar tender makes sure you get the best experience every visit you make. The sushi menu has a variety all it's own and it is close to the highway going to the Airport. Try it you will be impressed and I really like the Volcano roll and takoyaki with the sake! read more

We've visited Chihiro twice with our kids during the middle of the week, and both times the restaurant wasn't busy, which made for a peaceful dining experience. The highlight of our visits has undoubtedly been the exceptional service provided by Jennifer. She's knowledgeable about the menu and her recommendations are spot on, so definitely trust her suggestions. Beyond that, Jennifer is friendly, attentive, and makes sure no table goes overlooked. As for the food, the non-sushi dishes are generously portioned, which is great if you're coming with an appetite. I'm so glad this place opened up! The owners are so friendly and welcoming and the chef is amazing! When I ordered via phone, I planned on picking up my order and taking it home, but the place was so friendly, I ended up texting my fiance to meet me at the restaurant! The food was, of course, delicious, and the chef is more than willing to create whatever you want to eat. I have a favorite rice-less roll which I had always known by one name, but the chef at Chihiro was able to create a much-improved version of my favorite roll! Second visit. Had the coconut fried shrimp (great sauce) and the salmon teriyaka bento. Salmon had asparagus and onions grilled, along with a nice size lemon wedge. Accompanied by some nice tempura veggies and real crab california rolls. very nice! read more
