We've had take out from Sushi Go many times, and it is our absolute favorite. We've tried other places here and there, and nothing compares, nothing lives up to what this guy does. He serves clean fish, it's not fishy, it doesn't smell old, it's always fresh. This is our first time dining in and I'm glad we did, makes it easier to get another roll if you run out. lol My boyfriend started with his favorite, the Hot Mama (slowly becoming one of my faves). It's a little sweet, a little hear, and CRUNCHY things that are sooo good with spicy mayo. lol I had the Red River. I loooove the smoked salmon, it's so good, so flavorful and clean. We got a third roll to share after we finished the first ones, this was a new one to us, the Monster Roll. It was absolutely wonderful, but maybe a little hard to eat because the pieces were so big. Volcano roll was not memorable but the seaweed salad was the best I've ever had, not slimy at all and had a firm texture. I stumbled across this little neighborhood sushi spot, and after reading the reviews I just had to try it. The owner/sushi chef was very friendly and knowledgeable - he walked me through his menu and offered suggestions. The first thing I noticed when I walked in - I didn't smell any fish (which is pleasantly unusual for a sushi restaurant). I ordered the Ahi Tower, the Elvis roll, masago nigiri & ebi nigiri. The seafood is all incredibly fresh! Even as a to go order, the fish was at the correct/perfect temperature. The portion size was incredibly generous for the price of each item. I was actually surprised at the size of each item - an absolute amazing value! They do not have a liquor license, so no saki/alcohol service, but that's not a deal breaker for me. So, I had heard of Sushi Go previously by the fact I had seen one next to a bakery in Arlington we like to go too for their sales. Though usually when we are going to that bakery we are hitting it up closer to 10, which is before that Sushi go opens. When we saw this location open I decided to give it a shot with my youngest when my oldest was at nearby art day-camp. Service was outstanding, 5 stars! We ordered 3 kinds of sushi to split along with a Miso soup that my kid wanted to try. Everything seemed fresh and came out in a reasonable time. Thought the way they roll their cucumber rolls was a bit different than what my kid was used too, and each piece seemed bigger. When we sat to eat most of the orders seemed to be take out. So, really this place is a better quick service sushi option ... possibly not one where its a destination sushi place. We've been able to go grab some avacado rolls for my youngest on a few occasions when we've done birth day meals at someone's house where we know they are serving something he wont eat! Initially I was thinking $7.95 was on the steep side for a regular tuna or salmon roll, but they have at least triple the amount of fish other sushi places put in a regular roll. Placed an online take-out order on their Yelp featured website, that uses GrubHub as their delivery service. I live pretty close to the business, so I opted to pick up my order. Went to the shop and two bags sitting on the counter, stated my name, and received one bag that Mr. Man seemed to believe was mine, but had no receipt nor tag on the bag. Since I was the only one my order was prepared and delivered in less then 3-4 minutes. Presentation wise, the food looked delicious, fresh, and good to look at while being delivered in what looked like a boat. Even though it was a sushi restaurant, the music included hits from The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, J. Cole and other popular artist. I was eating great food vibing out to the tunes. The owner and I began making conversation; thanks thang. There's nothing better then great food made by a great person. You can tell he loved his job. I appreciated learning about his background and what brought him to texas. Sometimes it feels like people are caught up in their own world and forget to just ask others how they are doing. My presence was definitely appreciated by thang. Just two strangers bonding over the love for the creation and consumption of sushi. Thang was very attentive and inviting. Tried this little sushi restaurant today. Place is nice and clean with a few tables and a bar seating. We tried their rainbow and Alaskan rolls. Decent sushi and reasonable price. Big rolls. Also tried the sushi go lettuce wrap. Its good I just didn't care for the rice paper wrap cuz some were hard to chew and the Thai chili sauce that came with it cuz what's Thai chili gotta do with sushi right? They also have sake and bottled water and sodas. So basically a sushi restaurant with some other Asian food like bugolgi and poke bowls Will be back to try they're rice bowls next time. Worth the 1 hr drive from Weatherford! Pricing is pretty average or a little less than most places, however, these rolls are thick. I was a little thrown back that there was only one employee on a Saturday but that man could do it ALL! Extremely attentive, friendly, welcoming, and quick. I've been wanting to go here since it opened and finally had a chance to go. I got the Sushi Combo 2; 4 nigiri, 6 sashimi, and a spicy tuna roll. I got 2 eel (probably my favorite sushi) and two salmon and let the chef prepare the sashimi to his recommendation: 2 tuna, 2 salmon, and 2 white tuna. I've never had white tuna (or heard of white tuna) before (which is why you let the chef choose) the meat is softer and creamier than regular tuna and I highly recommend it. Eel, perfect as I had hoped. The sashimi was great, salmon nigiri was also good. Spicy tuna roll, very, very tasty. My only complaint I wish it was wrapped in seaweed, instead of just rice because it tended to fall apart when dipping into the soy sauce. But I'm nitpicking at this point. Also had a bowl of miso soup as an appetizer. Good flavor, but no tofu, just the seaweed as an FYI. Overall, totally worth it and can't wait to order from them again. read more

Got to enjoy quiet night all to myself so for dinner decided to give the new Sushi Go a try. As they are new to my neighborhood and we enjoy good sushi this looked like the place to be able to grab and go without any hassles and I was not disappointed. With a very descriptive online menu and pictures to go along with some of the entree's my only concern was going to be making a decision. The prices are extremely reasonable, especially considering the current rate of inflation so being able to get 2 substantial rolls (approx 16 slices) for less than $20 is pretty awesome. I did the online order with schedule pickup. The one item that did cause me a little concern was once I set the time the site replied with a confirmation of the order but then gave me a 20 minute window (6:30-6:50) for when the order would be ready. You can monitor the progress of your order from the ordering website and on this night my order was ready by the requested time. They include pickled ginger, wasabi, packets of soy sauce & set of chopsticks everything you need to enjoy your Sushi at home. The one item you might need to be aware of is if you have get 2 rolls of sushi unless you have some soy sauce at home then i would request at least 2-4 more packets. I was given 3 which I knew would not be enough for mixing with my wasabi but we keep soy sauce on hand for so many other items. The first roll I ordered was the Red River Roll (Crab, cream cheese & avocado topped with smoked salmon & wasabi sauce). The second roll was the Crunchy Crab Roll (crab, cucumber, eel sauce & topped with some sort of crunchies) I know I am missing all that matters is they were both really good.
