I love Chihiro!! Since moving from Fort Worth I haven't been able to have my beloved gluten free sushi at Blue Sushi, and Chihiro more than makes up for it. Everything is always super fresh and never had an issue with my gluten allergy. Many if not a majority of the items on the menu can be modified GF, and they have a dedicated fryer. My favorites are the spicy salmon and the tempura sweet potato roll. Hell, I've even had their fish and chips and the fish was wonderfully cooked and crispy. So thankful they are looking out for the gluten free community and can bring my gluten-eating husband with no complaints. :) read more

Amazing place. Staff is incredibly friendly. The first two times we were there, the chef sent over free appetizers that he wanted an opinion on. I only really eat sushi, so I can say their Maki is delicious. I just had the Maki Bento Box today (forgot to take a pic before devouring) and it was so good! They have other dishes besides sushi which were okay. I may just have to give them a second go around. The environment is really nice too! Beautiful decor with really chill music. Tried this restaurant for lunch. We had the takoyaki, volcano roll and and order of the chicken udon. All the dishes were mediocre to bad. Takoyaki was very bland and served luke warm. Volcano roll was nothing more than a crunchy tempura roll with some light mayo sauce. Very bland compared to other volcano rolls. Finally the udon was very salty and tasted like a microwavable dinner. Also service was poor. We were the only one there and was never checked up on, overall very slow and inattentive. My boyfriend and I try every sushi spot that pops up in the DFW area and this is now one of our top ones to go to! Steve, the head chef, always makes our experience memorable. From his creativity to his willingness to cook you up anything your heart desires...he is a true chef that we enjoy eating his creations. This restaurant is only a few months old yet they are constantly adapting to what the customers want. That's what draws us to this place. You can feel the love they've put into the restaurant because his mom and her husband work their too. Chef Steve also likes talking to his customers at the sushi bar and is very personable. He's extremely passionate about bringing happiness to his customers through his food! We hope this place never loses its charming and unique character. Came here with a group of 9. They accommodated us pretty well. Though I never new a place to charge for extra ginger... that was a first for me.. the chicken friend rice was not that great. The rice was kinda soggy as if they cooked it with too much water... the rolls were good. The tuna tower has no sauce in it so the rice was super dry. Growing to become my go-to sushi spot in the mid-cities. Always enjoy the hamachi jalapeño (yellowtail sashimi), although I wish it came with just a little more ponzu sauce. I've had numerous different rolls and they all have been delicious! The tempura usually is good as well, although we had one experience where the batter seemed to be off (pick-up order, so couldn't send it back). Overall, very solid sushi option! read more

Called to ask if they would be able to accommodate my allergies to milk and eggs, they replied that they certainly would and that they have protocols to prevent cross-contamination. I used to live in Los Angeles. I've been to so many good sushi restaurants in LA. I love their sushi. I got Nutty Chihiro. The sauce on top is very light and refreshing. As I was eating I talk to the chef Steven. He told me that they use good ingredients. No wonder I can taste the differences. He used olive oil as a base for the sauce. Lump crab for his California roll. Unlike other places that use imitation crab with mayo mix in it. He said he will serve Omakase soon. And will have real wasabi root to go with that.
