Came here on a Tue night for a party of 9. They don't have the round table, which I wasn't expecting them to as this is more of an Americanized Chinese restaurant that has a Finding Nemo theme. Really wasn't sure what to expect as my son picked it as it was the half way point in meeting his friends. We ordered quite a few dishes to share as there were 9 adults. Overall, the food was ok, with congee (rice soup) being the better taste surprisingly. Otherwise, the soup dumplings and everything else was just average. So at the end, our bill with tax and tip was well north of $300. For that money, and watching the cartoon fish swimming around, I really don't think it's worth it. Absolutely horrible experience. The entire staff spent their time gathered around the bar watching the FIFA match instead of taking care of customers. We waited about 25 minutes just to place a drink order, despite the restaurant being nearly empty. Instead of providing service, they handed us tablets to order from and then completely ignored us. After placing my order, I waited 1 hour and 15 minutes before finally canceling it because it never arrived. Other members of our party either received cold food after an hour or had food that was burnt. We had a party of 12, and not a single person had a good experience. To make matters worse, there wasn't a manager or even an assistant manager on duty to handle complaints. They couldn't even remove my missing meal from the bill. We were told to wait for a manager to arrive, but no one ever did. In the end, we had to leave cash on the table because there was no way to properly settle the bill. It was a complete disaster and, frankly, felt unacceptable. The men's restroom was also unavailable--they only had a women's restroom and a family restroom--and the bathroom was a mess, with toilet paper scattered everywhere. This restaurant completely ruined a birthday celebration. I would not recommend it to anyone. Stay away. read more

Good food. Good service. Nice ambiance. Weird ordering system. They were pretty crowded for 5:30 p.m. even for a Saturday. We did get a table right away and a server showed us the card that had QR codes to see the menu. The link had an option to dine in or carry out. I started to order on my phone and the server said oh no, this is just the menu. I'll take your order. She then showed me a tablet that had the menu on it. So are you supposed to use the QR code or not? It was just disjointed and awkward. As my husband said, it's like they are trying too hard to be hip and cool. Anyway. On to the food. We shared an order of egg rolls and then I got wonton soup and some dumplings. Everything was hot and fresh and tasty. My husband got the fried rice which he said was very good. Found an excellent dumpling spot near my gym. Juicy Dumplings is great restaurant to enjoy any occasion. I visited on a Friday afternoon and was seated right away. I ordered the Cucumber salad, Hot Chili Wontons, Scallion pancakes and pork and shrimp dumplings. All of the dishes, came out once they were ready and tasted amazing. The scallion pancakes were crispy, not greasy and I loved that they had these on the menu, because it's rare to find them. The wontons and dumpling had nice mild flavors and were cooked just right. I really enjoy Juicy Dumplings. I like the decor, it's very creative and creates a great mood for dining. At times, it can be a bit louder than what I'd prefer, but overall, it's still a nice evening. At the time, she said they were revamping their menu, so we were given a tablet with the menu on it. It slowed us down a bit; only one of us was able to view the menu at a time, but we made it work. Lemon Drop Martini: I must say, this was the BEST Lemon Drop I've had. It wasn't too sweet, and it was perfectly made and well-balanced. It was amazing! Mu Shu Shrimp: Every single time, this is so delicious. The food tastes so fresh, they don't skimp on the shrimp, and the flavors all work so well with one another. This is the perfect go-to. The portion size could feed two to three people; it's very plentiful. I always have plenty to take home. For my take-home, I always get a side of rice. The pancakes don't do too well as leftovers. Came here the first time with my family for Christmas Day and I am impressed by this place. The decorations of the restaurant is very cute with aquarium on display. The vibe is very modern and the restaurant itself is very clean. I really like their food since they are freshly made. Vegetarian fried rice - taste good, the rice is moist and the whole dish is packed with veggies. Crab and pork xiao long bao- it's pretty good and flavorful. The bao is packed with meat and the flavor comes together wonderfully. Walnut and shrimp- pretty good. I like how they separate the mayo from the shrimp. The shrimp is fat and juicy. Fried bao buns - it's my fav item here. This is prob one of the best I ever have. The meat is juicy and tender and the bao itself is pillowy and soft when you bite into it. I am OBSESSED! I didn't even realize this place was here until we were looking on Yelp. The ambience is very chill and the music is not too loud. They even have karaoke after 10! I had no expectations and yet I was BLOWN away. They have the best fried rice I've ever had. We ordered some soup dumplings as well. They were absolutely delish. We also tried the crab rangoons, orange chicken, lo mein, and some chicken egg rolls. Everything tastes so fresh. You can tell it is all made by hand and with care. This place is such a hidden gem. It's quite deceiving from the outside once you get in I have high ceilings and beautiful light fixtures that give us a great date night vibe. The menu is digitize on the tablet that you get a new table with descriptions in case you're unfamiliar with the food options. Everything was good! My son loved the large "aquarium" screens. It kept him busy while we peacefully age lunch. They also had a 'kid plate' so he wouldn't have to use the regular glass plate ! The server was super attentive and nice. I liked that the sauce/mayo of the walnut shrimp was separate from the entree itself so that the shrimp isn't soggy. Have had a good walnut shrimp in so long. My kiddo had plans that fell through, so to help make up for it I brought him out to Juicy dumplings. The ambiance is outstanding, we had seen them working on this place before they opened when we started going to some of the places in the same building as them. Our waitress was sweet, we went during what seemed to be a down time. They let us know they needed to get updated paper menus, so she asked for us to scan a qr code ... Which for some reason was giving me issues in my web browser, which she noticed looking over my shoulder talking to another employee at the booth behind me, so she brought us one of their ipads. As we looked one of the chefs came out quickly and asked if we found something to eat, like within a minute of us being handed the Ipad. Absolutely everyone trying to be helpful, but it was amusing all of that happened in less than 5 minutes, barely any time to even have time to think if I wanted a drink let alone ask kiddo what he wanted. Food was delicious! My kid demolished his chicken fried rice. Timing was off a little bit because he had already finished 3/4ths of his food by the time mine came out. The reason given was understandable but I ended up taking part of my meal to go so we didn't hit traffic too bad getting back home. Second time here and again a bit of a lackluster experience. Nice tea pot and good tasting tea, however drinking from that tiny cup had me practicing for the world tea drinking Olympics, with the added challenge of the constant need to refill. It holds a thimblefull of tea at best. The crab rangoons were nice, as were the lettuce wraps, but mine was more of a lettuce plate arrangement that was very difficult to eat. The Mongolian chicken was delicious, but most definitely luke warm on top as if it had been sitting out. Juicy pork buns are small but very good, however the service is just not on point, they arrived at the table on their own; had to ask for the sauce and spoon. Finished it all off with a pineapple bun, was on point. I don't think I'll be back anytime soon, that tea drinking adventure alone was $10 and the portions are small. read more

To preface this, I will say that the food is really good. The service needs a lot of work, though. My son, my husband, and I came in for a 4:30 reservation, so not the busy time. I ordered crispy tofu with fried rice, and my son and husband opted to try a variety of dumplings and egg rolls together instead of entrees. My husband requested that all of the food be brought out at the same time because of this. They received their egg rolls and three sets of dumplings right away. After 15 minutes, it was apparent that my entree was not coming out with the rest of the meal as requested. My husband flagged down the server and said that I would like my food as well. She said that the tofu takes longer (it doesn't take 30 minutes to sear tofu, and if everything is coming out together, you time the things that don't take as long with the things that take longer). 20 minutes later, they had finished their food and mine was still nowhere to be seen. We flagged down another server and asked again for my food. They brought it out at 5:30, one hour after we arrived. The first time we requested my food (at about 5), my husband asked for combo fried rice to be added; they were still hungry and that way I wouldn't be eating alone when my food finally came out. When my food came out at 5:30, no fried rice for my husband and son. He again asked a server about it. Twenty minutes later I was done and my husband asked for the bill and for the fried rice to just be brought out to go. At 6, a different server brought out the rice in a dish and he reiterated that we would like to leave and had asked for it to go. Eventually the takeout was brought to our table. Awful service and one sort of halfhearted apology 30 minutes before I eventually received my food; at any other restaurant, there would be a manager there offering to comp part of the bill. Nothing. The food was good, but you'd better have extra time on your hands and not be too hungry when you get there. read more

I also ordered the chicken lettuce wraps, which were so flavorful, fresh, and surprisingly filling. Both appetizers were $10 each, and it was a satisfying meal. Regine was super friendly and attentive. She even helped me sign up for their rewards to earn points toward future meals, and told me they're open every night until midnight, and after 10 p.m. they switch the TV screens into karaoke, so a fun night out with everyone. This place was packed! From the time we got there to the time we left there was a line out the door. We had a reservation so we weren't worried, but apparently the online reservations don't matter. We were still told we had to wait. Luckily a table got up shortly after we tried to check in so they were able to seat us, but honestly it didn't seem like they knew or cared that we said we would be there at a certain time. We stopped in for a late lunch today. The place is beautiful, new, clean and very new age decor with wall to wall projections of animated sea life. The kids will love it! We started with the pork and shrimp egg rolls. They were unique considering what we normally get as an egg roll. Crispy and crunchy with a sweet and tangy sauce for dipping. Unique and good. Next we had the recommended juicy pork and shrimp dumplings. They were very good and the sauce was excellent. The waitress explained how to eat the dumplings by biting off the knot at the top and adding the sauce, using a soup spoon. Very good, although small, and 4/$12 seemed a bit more than other similar places. Next we had the steamed dumpling combo. Very pretty, tasty. I used the sauce that came with the soup dumplings on these as well. Traditional size and very good. Next I had the wonton soup. Served in a covered bowl and was nice and hot. It had 4 pork wontons which were very good. The broth was flavorful. It came with a side of crunchy noodles. Lastly we had the sweet and sour chicken. Very nice portion. The sauce was excellent. The pineapple, peppers and onions were cooked to perfection. The chicken was fresh with a nice ration of breading. A favorite dish by all. The dim sum dumpling options are nice, but extremely pricy for what they are ($10-$12 for 3 dumplings). Food was just okay - I probably wouldn't revisit as it was nothing worth writing home about. The vibe of the restaurant almost reminds me of a nail salon. It's kind of a weird modern mix of things. There are giant screens on the walls with background imagery of fish and sea life. I got a mango green tea and again I expected a fruit tea at tapioca stores type of flavor but it was more American style I'd say so not my favorite either but still drinkable. My friends enjoyed their soup dumplings, veggie dumplings, and spicy wontons and veggie soup- I didn't try so can't say- but all in all I had a good time. If I didn't have to wait so long I would've definitely rated higher. It didn't seem that busy in the restaurant - wasn't at max capacity but maybe the kitchen was short staffed.
