Absolute garbage of a place. Gave my car on Saturday morning, they couldn't look at it that day and couldn't diagnose the problem. They looked at it on Monday. Told me the issues with car, when they were charging exorbitant prices, I was still okay with it. Would have come back in a week to get it fixed there as it was a bit too much. We received a receipt detailing the items and services (tires, rims, installation, and rotation). * The owner said he'd place the order on Monday, September 23rd, since they were closed on Sundays. 2. Delayed Communication and Issues with Order * On September 24th, the owner informed us the selected rims weren't available. After some back-and-forth, we chose an alternative on September 25th. * On October 1st, we inquired about the order status but received no response. By October 4th, repeated calls were either ignored, or they claimed there was no record of our order. 3. Disrespect and Unacceptable Treatment * I called to check on the order status, only for the owner to say he preferred to "deal man to man" and that "women don't know any of this stuff," showing blatant disrespect. * When I asked to cancel the order, he refused, claiming it was a "special order" and could not be canceled. 4. As the owner opened one of the boxes, I asked him why he had previously claimed we had already picked up the order. He looked at me and insisted, "Yes, you did," despite us clearly receiving the items for the first time. * I told him the reason we wanted to cancel the order was because of his repeated disrespect. Instead of acknowledging this, he doubled down, insisting his comments were valid and continuing to make offensive statements. I asked him to stop, saying we would simply take our merchandise and be done. * When I requested a dated document confirming the pickup, he refused, claiming the "account was closed." I had tires replaced for my car. They couldn't do alignment because their equipment couldn't communicate with the computer in my vehicle. No problem, had my dealer do it. The problem is that the damaged my car, they put a dent and scratch on the top of the hood, literally like they dropped something. When I brought that up, they got angry, they told me to get the f@ck out of their business, they said that the car was already damaged when I dropped it off (not the case). Called police but they said that apparently that's how they run their business and that businesses are not required to release camera footage to the customers so I couldn't prove that they did it. Very rude, angry and confrontational as soon as I pointed the damage. Never ever I would go there again nor recommended them to anyone. Stay away from that business people!!! read more

Called on the phone to see how much an alignment would cost and the lady told me $120 when I got there the person who was at the counter told me $160 and then told him about the $120 price that I was told about and he hesitated but then agreed on that price. these people will scam you if you are not careful. They will waste your time and over charge you. With all the negative reviews and bad word that they have around town might lead me to believe that they have another source of income coming in to stay in business. who knows if it's a legal source of income or if it's illegal anyways they can definitely suck a fat one read more

I went there to get a tire plugged and that lasted for about two weeks so afterwards I tried to change my tire and put on a spare and I couldn't get the Lugnuts off my car.(tried a 4way tire iron and 3 other lug nut wrenches) because they decided to put a bunch of random Lugnuts back onto my tire. so I don't have to go out and buy a set of Lugnuts for $50. Got 4 tires put on here in November 2018 and was charged $500 which was apricy considering the wheels that they put on Cross-Sport SP-9 are $48 tires... then when i go and pick up the car he says that he didnt do an alignment (which i payed for) because my control arms were shot on my front 2wheels and they said they could fix those for $600 more dollars... suspicious of this information i tell em im taking it to a trusted mechanic i know at Elite Auto. Chihuahua Tire says their mechanic are just as good and they will fix it and then would do alignment then. They keep a parked meal wagon that sells tacos and burritos blocking an entrance and half of the small parking lot. The employee who finally showed up was rude, did not apologize or wear a face covering in the building, which was very dirty. Not only was Luis completely INAPPROPRIATE with making comments seeing as I'm a female, but once I mentioned I had a boyfriend it all went down hill. It should not have taken over 2 days to repair what needed to be done first off. Secondly I needed an alignment, which was $100 - which was also on my receipt - IT WAS NEVER DONE! He called and said he wanted to replace a line because it was "rusty" and I could pick it up on Monday after I gave the go ahead. I advised him that I couldn't wait until Monday and not to do the work. He said I could pick it up Sunday & that he would be there between 9 & 11 - I get a text saying he was there and only gave me 5 minutes to get to the shop because he had to pick up his kid. When I argued and reminded him that he told me when he was going to be at the shop he says snidely "Don't worry about personal life" Well I'm the customer - YOU are providing me a service - not to mention while picking it up on Sunday he says that he did me a favor and replaced it anyways. I arrived at 9am when the store on north Federal in Westminster, CO opens. They arrived a few minutes later. I walked in I was the only customer there. I asked if they were open for business, the employee said yes. I said I had a couple of tires that needed put on rims. 2 standard rims 2 standard tires no balancing. I said to the employee if he would like to take a look at them? He said ok but my employee has to get the used tires out of the way of the door 1st. 20 minutes later I walked back in the store. The employee was looking at some video while I was standing in front of his desk, finally I asked again if he would look at my tires he sent his other employee to look and he said yes he could do it. I brought my car in Jan 11th 2022 for a tire change bc mine was flat I get a $45 tire leave and pull off thinking nothing of the price of it but when I went for a car wash the next day I noticed my car was damaged all over the side with the flat tire that was changed and it wasn't no scraping or anything like that it was indented with a tool or someone's body bc there's no scratches I go up there just to get told that they will look at the cameras later and then never call me then I call them back they get angry with me because I was explaining to him that it doesn't make sense that it's only around the tire (that was being changed) he said to me I got hit by someone somewhere else but if that's the case then why isn't there no paint missing or paint transfer or even scratch's he got upset and said there's nothing I can do there nothing I can do there nothing on the cameras so basically this tire shop is a big joke and I will never be going here or recommending this place to anyone for anything at all poor service as well read more

This place has an "owner" who is the only person empowered to solve problems created by employees and he is never in the shop or is conveniently "on break" or "not in" whenever we call or stop by. My husband dropped off his rim and a new tire. They were welding the rim and replacing it with a new tire that he left with them. When he returned to pick it up they had the old (worn and damaged) tire on the rim and told him he dropped off a tire that didn't fit his rim. The employees couldn't help. They don't care that we have a problem. They all act like it's no big deal and "oh well" that the boss isn't there. At this point we are thinking they kept his tire as it was new. For one these guys charge way to much to mount tires , $20 per tire most shop charge $10 to $12 to mount tires , also I took my car in to get tpms reset cause I don't have a tpms reset tool the tech wanted to charge me $25 a tire for a process that takes less than a minute , fits he said I don't need to reset them they'll just read automatically which is incorrect so clearly he doesn't know how the system works , then $100 to reset I said I know how to do it I'll give u $10 to use the tool and u can watch me do it his response was "it's my tool , I bought it " sounded like a 12 year old , also they need to fix their parking lot Someone is damage a wheel and they will be liable, I recommend not to go here ever . read more

I have been going to Chihuahua for some years now for various tires to be repaired. I always went to 1201 to get the tires fixed. Today August 12th they sent me and my son to 120 Indian Trail to get a tire change because they didn't have his size he needed for his Honda Accord after market tire 225 45 18 the young man was nice help my son with the tire he needed. I requested that the tire be balanced and the he get a neither person to do it I thought he was putting the weights on the outside of the rim. So I asked for him to put them on the inside of the rim. Holly Shit this Dude went off asking me did I know how to balance tires which I do for do automotive body repairs and paint job's for 12 year's. He walked up to my face and started screaming at me in English and Spanish all in my face. I asked him what is his problem and he in his own words ( Told Me To Get The Fuck Out Of His Shop ) There was a another person he was talking to in his office it looked like it wasn't going good for his because I still see the check in his hands after he left the shop. Don't know what went on between the two of them but don't take your account up with me because you missed out on a sale. After all of that the bill comes and it's for 80 dollars which I know isn't right at all because I have been buying tires for some years now. It should have been only 65 dollars for the tire and balanced not no 80 dollars period. If you are going to Chihuahua Tire Shop go to 1201 not the one next to the railroad tracks. I am looking for the manager of this place because there where at lot of things going on in this place. They said i had no warranty . So we argued for 5 min. So they finally checked there computer. And ofcourse its on file. Still they didnt apologize for being wrong. Tried to order a specific tire through Chihuahua Friday of last week. They told me they would have it by Saturday at 11am. I called on Sunday morning and they told me they didn't have it and it would be Monday. Monday I called and they told me it never came, they would call the warehouse and call me right back. They never called. I called Tuesday afternoon and they told me they had it. I drove 15 minutes down there for them to try and pawn off a tire that was a different size and speed rating than the one I had now talked to them over the phone about 4 times. They even spoke in Spanish in front of me saying they knew it was the wrong size before I got there and they still tried to sell it to me. Despicable practices from a shop that I could barely get in touch with. Not surprised their parking lot was completely empty. Please reconsider doing business here. read more

I got work done on a leaking tire here that included replacing a tire pressure sensor. Once I left, the sensor code blinked "malfunction." The shop said give it some miles and it should clear....it never cleared. The workers at the shop gave me the runaround until I finally got hold of the owner. The owner told me he did not have the parts and to come back on a specific date, when I did he was unavailable. I left my contact information and was never called back. I have limited time off and do not have time to run around chasing customer service. So, overall, repairing a leaking tire cost me over $100 and my sensor is still on. I always receive used tires but the trick to used tires is that they have a nail in them. Go figure! I came in for an alignment and tires but I was told they couldn't do it because I needed more suspension stuff done that totaled around 1500 dollars. I was asked did I want to do financing and I was curious on how much could they help me with. The lady couldn't tell me the interest so I didn't get it. Maybe a month later I noticed my credit report say I have it and the company is giving me the run around. I called for Nancy and never gotten a respond back! I'm taking them to court! 0 STARS!!! I came here because my heater went out on my car. I waited 2 hours for them to check the car out and give me an estimate. They came back with the sum of nearly 300 USD, which was fine. I kept the car overnight (technically for 24 hours) and paid upon pickup as the car was deemed 'operable' and 'fixed.' I turned the heater on, it worked so I turned it off as I did not need it at the time. I went to Wal-Mart, came out and turned the heater on, it ran for a couple of minutes then went out. I went right back up to this mechanic shop and they refused to return my money. They looked at it again, however..long story short they tried 3 different fuses and kept sending me on my way..each time the heater would go out within a few minutes. They originally replaced the blower motor and resistor. At that point they said, it might be electrical or a compressor (they DIDN'T KNOW) and commenced to want to charge me MORE....now I am gridlocked...I either pay more for something that MAY OR MAY NOT WORK...or I just lost out on 300 bucks and still the heater does not work...they DON'T CARE either way....My issue is..if they had the car for that long, all it would have taken was them to test it..they would have known BEFORE TAKING MY MONEY, that the issue was deeper... Now this is the SECOND TIME (why I didn't listen when I told myself never to return) that Chihuahua's have screwed me over. First time was awhile ago when they were repairing my vehicle to the tune of 1000s of USD, and they said it would be done within 24 hours. I came back at said time and it is important to note that I was dropped off. The vehicle was not done...I had to walk home with my luggage (I did not live in the area at the time my car broke down) and my small child..they never offered to drop me off at a safe location....and then it took them 4 more days to fix the car...so I was stranded in a city in which I did not live. No I'm sorry's, no compensation...just no regard for their clientele...and I bought tires from them on NUMEROUS occasions before our recent negative dealings so why the disdain? I have had tire repair and replacement done a few times and was happy with the service and the prices. most recently i needed 4 tires and they only had 2 used. They offered me a great price on new tires installed, not the best tires of course but that was expected for the price, they are still guaranteed and much better than what i had. When i came in to get the tires installed, which came with an alignment, they told me my control arms were in bad shape and the alignment couldnt be done unless i replaced them (also the linkage just above the control arm had bad bushings) they showed me exactly what they seen and i agreed. I had trouble with my car riding rough and this explained it. they replaced the control arms and did the alignment, i chose to replace the linkage myself to save the money and they were fine with that as it was not necessary for the alignment. (the ride tightened up considerably after replacement, a good thing) They would have let me go without replacing any of the suspension, i just would not have had a proper alignment, which is true, that's how alignments are done, by adjustment via the suspension components. It is always hard to hear that you need more work than expected but in this case it was absolutely justified. I cannot comment on other services as i have only dealt with them regarding tires and this minor suspension issue. I will be back for other issues like these. read more

Honestly, the first time I came here, I was beyond annoyed with this place b/c they had been working on my car for over a week (I just needed new rims and tires for my Volvo). they kept saying it would be done and then we'd go and then it was not done. I must say, I just went back yesterday with my Honda Element for a new exhaust and brakes and they did a great job. Daniel ( the owner) has always been very nice and the prices are great here. I would recommend this place. the people work hard and are all friendly. although I did have a not so great first experience, I am extremely happy with my results.
